My cat actually likes being there even though he is unvomfy away from home. He loves Dr. Wilson

Our dog seems to like his Vet visits. We believe Dr W and the staff provide great care. We have been using LAC's services for 3 dogs so far and expect to continue that going forward.

Always friendly and never feel rushed. I have been attending Lakeshore Animal Clinic for the past 11 years with my dog for his annual check ups and any other issues along the way. I have never had a problem and on the two occasions where my dog has been needed to be seen as an emergency they have seen him immediately and taken excellent care of him.

Great friendly and informed staff. My dog was comfortable and actually excited during the annual examination and vaccinations! I love how they have a dog entrance and waiting room and a separate cat entrance and waiting room.

Dr Wilson is great; he is knowledgeable, compassionate and he has surrounded himself with a kind, caring and all-round fab team. I highly recommend Lakeshore Animal Clinic!

Horrible vet, don’t recommend anyone take their pets here, after our first vet visit we expressed our cat had blood in her pee as well she was having troubles using the washing for long periods of time they mistreated her and told us it was due to to Diarrhoea and she cut herself in the process, they treated her with some cream did not check to see her blood work did not take a urine sample, rushed us in an out an made us change her diet to food that is from their vet clinic, after my bf is really upset and stressed out due to being mislead we come in an obviously he is stressed out, they don’t even show any sympathy towards anyone, did not help us any further told us to go to another clinic (two days before Christmas)

Hopefully karma gets them where it’s needed

I have had nothing but respectful interactions with all the staff. They go above and beyond with getting to know me and my girlz.

Met the owners this morning, My Daughter is starting work with them on Monday. I get a great feeling from them

Dr Wilson and his staff are fantastic. My dog has had some serious health issues over the last year and Dr Wilson acted quickly and with compassion to ensure my dog received treatment ASAP. I have complete faith in Dr Wilson and his team. They truly care about the animals. I highly recommend Lakeshore Animal Clinic.

Awesome vet clinic. We were in a pinch to get our dog's vaccination records updated so that we could board her while we went on vacation. Our normal vet told us there would be a three week wait. I explained the situation and they told me there is nothing they could do.

I called Lakeshore, they got us in the next day and I was in and out with my dog in less than 10 minutes. They have a new patient, I couldn't be happier with their service!

Dr Steve and his team always provide supportive and compassionate care to my pets. Available for medical issues but also to just offer advise regarding care such as food and diet choice, general health queries, even explaining pet insurance! Follow up is great and I highly recommend this vet and his office after over 15 years of going there with my pets.

I foster for the SPCA and this is where I take all of the cats for care. They are so friendly and caring. Always thorough with letting you know what they did and how it went with the animals. Overall, I would recommend this vet for your pets care!

Doctor and front desk staff were warm and welcoming. We took our 8 week old Siamese kitten in for a vet check and first vaccinations and the staff could not be more attentive. I felt super comfortable asking even the most inane questions. Thank you for helping someone with limited kitten experience feel confident and comfortable.

We take our puppy here and couldn’t be happier. Our puppy is bit energetic and they’ve taken great care in handling him even when he doesn’t want to listen. The staff are friendly and were great to recommend things over the phone when we didn’t know. It helped us to get answers we need without a medical visit.

They also helped us with some behavioral training. I think they mostly trained us and not my dog but that’s what we needed.

A dedicated team. Caring and compassionate. Our 12 year old boy couldn’t be in better hands. Thank you so much. ️

I was referred by Dr. Steve Wilson to Action Orthodics for a brace, as my dog has an CCL tear and we had been told that this is a good option outside of going direct to the $5000 surgery.

After $1600 for the brace and 3 months, I noticed little improvement and her leg had lost a considerable amount of muscle. I took her to Dr. Tara Edwards who is a certified canine rehabilitation therapist to see what else we could do assuming that this was due to something I wasn't doing.

It was at this point that we were informed that the brace was designed for a human, and not a dog - that there was no support for the injury whatsoever. This was because it was designed for a straight standing leg and not a dogs leg composition. I was mortified. Her leg had lost almost 10cm compared to the other and we had lost 3 months of healing. Not to mention the discomfort and pain she has been in.

I was told by Dr Edwards that they might not have been aware that this isn't the correct design, but I should make them aware. I contacted the Lakeshore Vet office to let them know about the issue and inquired about help towards the purchase of a new brace, initially.

After I was repeatedly told that they did nothing wrong, and that the design had worked for other larger dogs, I stated I felt there wasn't due diligence in the research and I can only rely on what a vet has given us. I expressed that there was, what came across as, a lack of accountability.it was at this point that I requested they take care of the entire replacement because Ethically, this would be the course of action when provided evidence of an in incorrect referral-especially at the price point that we were charged.

It frustrated me that he can refer to Dr. Tara Edwards as a colleague but not for the information regarding what would be a correct design vs. Incorrect design when sending people and their animal's for such a costly expense.

Had this been a matter of incorrect use, I would totally have understood - but the design is completely different than what my, or any, dog would need in order to provide the correct support.

Now we are left to spend another $1600, right before the holidays, on a brace that is actually meant for dogs-and my pet has suffered because of this and will now require more rehabilitation and treatment to recover lost muscle mass.

I would highly recommend anywhere but here.

Experience couldn’t have been better. He was well cared for, I left with all of my questions answered, and instructions for post-op care. The team at Lakeshore is fantastic.

Doctor Wilson and his staff members are always friendly and caring, they have always done what’s best for my fur babies throughout their entire lives, I highly recommend them!

We have 2 dogs and tried 3 different vets in Kelowna before we found these guys and stuck with them.

The service is good. Easy to get an appointment. No overselling or pushing treatments that you don’t necessarily need, which had been the issue with the other vets we visited in Kelowna.

We like Doc. Wilson. We haven’t met the other doctors in the office.
