Lakeview Motel and Suites

The Lakeview Motel in Osoyoos, BC, was a clean and quiet motel, that was off the main highway, but walkable to the lake and a park. Our downstairs room had a comfortable sofa in a sitting area, and a table and two chairs that was handy for the dinner we brought back to the room. The shower was small, and there was no outlet in the bathroom for a nightlight. The room had no room darkening curtains or blinds, so that first light in the morning made things a little bright, especially since we had the room with the french doors. Food options and the downtown area were just a very short drive.

Very clean kitchenette room! Affordable and once again—CLEAN! So many little motels are bought up and quickly go down hill. I hope this motel is here for years to come and run by people who care to provide a great affordable option. We will definitely make Osoyoos rather than Hope our stop from here on.

Pretty high prices, but I guess it's the way of our economy with everything increasing in price. Nice rooms, we had full kitchen.

Very clean motel comfortable bed, nice heated pool. Parking included. Staff is kind and discreet.

Excellent location to the beach. The room was very clean and you can see they take pride in their place. They provide BBQ which was a big plus. The outdoor pool was clean and perfect temperature for swimming.

Nice quiet area and close to the beach. They have a nice pool and outside BBQ the rooms are older but clean and comfortable. Not a place to party but a place to come and relax. Some suites have kitchen in them so you can cook if you're staying longer then a weekend.

Great location, very nice staff and the pool is very well maintained. But I do think the mattresses of all the rooms should have the same comfort level/standard. The mattresses in our two bedroom suite are very old and the springs doesn't support our back very well. It gives us back pain every morning from sleeping on the beds. Our friends however who stayed in a bachelor suite had a very nice comfortable mattress on their bed. I would recommend having the same kind of mattress all across the rooms or replace the old mattresses with new ones.

We could see why so many people keep coming back and give great reviews towards the management and cleanliness and peace and quiet location of this motel. We stayed in the second floor with the great view and the 2 (squeaky anti-hanky-panky) beds with the small kitchenette and it was spotless and had more accessories than we needed as well as great coffee. We met lovely people that had also just arrived (from Northern B. C.) who have been wintering here since the last 10 years. It is a short walk to town with a large selection of restaurants. A real pleasure. Thank you. We will stay with you next time we are in the area for sure.

My husband and I stayed at the Lakeview Motel for a week and just loved it. The view of the lake and mountains from our room was spectacular. The room was very, very clean. The motel is within easy walking distance from the city centre and some lovely trails. Having the laundromat onsite was a bonus. We would easily stay here again and would highly recommend it! The pool was available while we were there and was well taken care of. Having a barbecue to use made our stay that much more enjoyable.

This is a great motel! The free Wi-Fi is perfect and the amenities are fantastic. The saltwater pool is stunning. And the office staff give you a friendly greeting. I recommend it.

Pros: Very clean with a large spacious double room.
Cons: Old, uncomfortable beds. Pool area is not enclosed in a courtyard but off the the parking lot infront of 2 roads.

We were thoroughly impressed from check-in to check-out. As a neat freak, especially now due to Covid, everything was super clean and so organized! The owner Wendy (?) was such a pleasure to meet.she was helpful and friendly. No issues whatsoever with our room. The location is excellent.in fact there is a beach right across the street! We will definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent location to spend the winter. My second floor suite was clean and comfortable with an excellent view of Lake Osoyoos and the mountain behind it. Easy walk to the best pizza in town, the grocery store and downtown.

Owners are wonderful to work with. I look forward to another season in Osoyoos.

Very clean, fully equipped kitchen. An affordable motel, great location. Pool very nice, also three barbecues.

Stayed at the Lakeview recently for a weekend family trip. We had a two bedroom suite on the second floor and were amazed at how clean and upgraded the suite was. The king beds in the bedroom were just an added blessing.
The suite itself had a full sized fridge, microwave, stove and utensils for our use.

Walking distance to the beach, and if you're up for it, walking distance to the main part of town.

The owners take great pride in their work and it shows.we've already booked for another weekend.

We had a 1 bedroom, a 2 bedroom, and the cottage for 4 families for a week. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, the owners/manager very accommodating, the pool was great! About a 2-3 minute stroll to very nice public beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return. Would highly reccommend for family stay.

Do not waist your time at Resort rude people booked for 2 nights got my confirmation says 1 day call asap to ask why oooooo sorry sir you made the mistake hangs the phone up very very. Rude.lady on the phone.
Word of mouth gets around faster then anything.

Had a bad sleep at night, because of noisy A/C. Charged extra 90$ for cooking in suite with kitchen.

This motel has great air conditioning and some great beds if I were to choose a hotel to go too next time I would pick this one again.

We have been spending our last 5 winters here. The owners are the best hosts. Both of them are always happy to make adjustments to meet our needs. The atmosphere is caring, relaxing and friendly. The rooms are clean and everything is in good working order. Furniture and beds are very comfortable. We enjoy morning coffee time.

We have been coming here for 12 years. Owners are super friendly and hard working. We book a two bedroom suite which has a queen bed for our girls, a very comfortable king bed for us, and a comfortable pullout for my son. No housekeeping but you can just put used towels in the basket provided and set outside for an exchange. Coffee and tea in the room. Travel size shampoo, conditioner, soap in bathroom. Good water pressure on shower and HOT water! No blow dryer but we never use when on vacay. Coin laundry available which is great especially when traveling with kids. Picnic tables with umbrellas so you can eat outside your room. They also have a take a book leave a book library. Beach access is right across the street and walking distance to town. Also let friendly rooms available for a daily rate (cheaper than boarding!)

The best part about this motel is the pool is almost always quiet during the day when everyone else is wine touring. Comfortable lounge chairs, side table and umbrellas. Just want the pool open later but poor David works too long of hours for that We love it so much my sisters, my parents, both my in laws and my aunt and uncle all book the same week as us.

Rooms are way more spacious than expected, very clean, friendly lady at the front desk pointed us towards an excellent restaurant when we asked. Great central location, easy to walk into town when we didn't feel like driving, would definitely stay again.

Nice spot. Family run and I think the manager lives on sight which is nice. Across the street from a nice beach. No view from rooms on the main floor. Rooms are large and well maintained. The swimming pool and common area are popular. They have two bbqs for common use too. No daily room service. They need to upgrade their towels.are a bit worn and too small. And the ameneties in the bathroom are minimal. Bring your own coffee and filters as they do have a proper coffee pot in the room. Overall good value for money.

Very well appointed room, very clean, staff were very nice, pool was a godsend after a long ride. Money well spent.

The salt water pool was nice and the room we were in had lots of floor space, beds were quite comfortable. Cost was very high, though competitvely priced for the season in Osoyoos. My recommendation would be to spend $10-20 more per night for a better hotel and nicer room. While this one was functional it was very basic with cheap finishings. Paper coffee cups, random shelving with mismatched furniture and the 'kitchen sink and counter' were in the bathroom. Some pluses were a small fridge and microwave and also a small patio with a bistro set outside the door (a nice touch). For $159night (Total of $189 with tax and fees) I would look elsewhere first or stay in one of nearby towns instead (Rock Creek or Keremos)

Super friendly owners! Rooms were very clean and accommodating. Ours was a mini suite with fridge, stove, dishes everything one would need. Pool area is great! Very clean lots of seats and umbrellas. There is also 1 washer and one dryer which is always nice when your traveling to keep things clean. Close to activities for kids and lots of restaurants around to choose from.

We stayed for one night while passing through town. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and check in was friendly. Good value for the money.
The people in the room above us were quite noisy when they left early in the morning, but not much you can do about that. I'd stay here again.

Tried twice to make reservations and twice I got cancelation notices saying my card was invalid (even though it's not and worked at another hotel booking) also trying to talk to the front desk about it and I had the worst customer service imaginable. Would not recommend.

Wow, so glad my mother and I opted to stay here for the night. They upgraded our room for a suite with 2 rooms for almost the same price as a regular room. Extremely clean all around. Great experience and will definitely come again. Thank you again Diana for a great experience.

A great place to stay, only thing light in bathroom should be above sink, instead of beside it.

Clean and comfortable hotel with great rates! Our room had a full size fridge, microwave and included some local tourist magazines that I felt were helpful. There is a laundry room for your clothing, and a pool which was not open when I visited (in April).

Very pleasant accommodations at a reasonable cost. Good location to explore the area from. I'd go back.

Clean and quiet with a full kitchen. Great value. Albeit a little way from the centre of town. But made up by a great view of the lake and hillside.
