Landmark Cinemas 10 New Westminster

Place is extremely dirty, not well maintained. Seats are falling apart. Not sure if we got unlucky but there were multiple large parties in our theatre talking and being loud for the entire movie. 6$ for a medium soda fountain drink. Not sure what all the good reviews are about but save your money and time and just go to Cineplex where you won't be disappointed

While this is still my favourite movie theatre, they've really started to let this place go. Like, a lot.
Given that the Guilford location isn't that much further away, offers free parking, and is in much better condition, I might start going to that location if the New Westminster location doesn't start taking better care of their property.

Theater itself is amazing. The concession needs work (needs table in front of the beverage machine). The mall around the theater is horrendous. Don't ride in the elevator. They need to invest back in the theater.

Not the cleanest. The seats are OLD, and needs to be upholstered. The actual movie experience is fine, but I'd rather just go to Cineplex.

The seats! Big recliner seats. That alone earned the rating. Cheap prices, the best movies, and central location are excellent. Well the service is good, they are a little understaffed. My Extras Card makes going to the movies more affordable.

Very easy to get to by skytrain. The theatre holds some movies that bigger landmarks don't get. However, you most likely will hear the skytrain during your movie depending what screen you are at so keep that in mind as it may take away from your experience.

Conveniently located right by skytrain so getting there is no problem. Nice and clean theatres with huge comfy recliners. Delicious fresh popcorn with real butter, and awesome drink machines that you get to pick how much ice and variety of flavours to choose from. Only downer is that it’s not affiliated with scene so I couldn’t use my points.

The theatre i went too wasnt as big or as loud as a cineplex one but the comfort of the chairs and leg space was an absolute treat. I just wish there wad better parking

Pros:
- staff is nice
- seats are extra comfy
- amazing image and sound

Cons:
- super cold in the theatre rooms! I always see people bringing in blankets haha. It's almost November, please turn off the AC, is very unpleasant
- although the elevator/stairs are not technically part of the cinema, I have to say that the smell/puddles of urine are so disgusting. I think Landmark should pay more attention to that
- I've been using the Atom app for more than a year now. The "prepare snacks" function is absolutely useless. I never had them ready in advance. I don't get why staff ignores that, or maybe they don't get the notification? !
- lastly, the popcorn. It used to be so good, but in the last 2 months, is extra salty and oily. I'd rather not have it anymore.

Cheap Tuesday Matinee movies, Amazing! Next to no one there, reclining leather seats, can't go wrong

Landmark is the best, you’ll never go back to Cineplex. Good snacks and spacious recliner seats, can’t go wrong.

Welcoming atmosphere and good experience all around. From online ticket purchasing to service from staff and facility. The seats are also super comfy. Good selection of food and drinks.

Convenient movie theater right on the SkyTrain station. Many theaters are equipped with reclining chairs and 3D enabled for sound and vision. Must be visited!

The best seating of any theatre chain. Everyone gets their own recliner and they are very comfortable. Always clean and well looked after. The popcorn is amazing and they will layer your butter for no extra charge. The large beverage is truly large and with the coke freestyle machines you can have any flavour you like. Love watching movies here.

Hands down the absolute best theatre we have ever been to. After coming here, we will never go to Cineplex again. The seats are incredibly roomy & comfortable. Not to mention, way cleaner than I would expect from any movie theatre. Staff are great too, never had an unpleasant experience here.

Definitely the best Theatre out there! Reclining seats, Atom reserve seatings, Dolby and 4K projection.

Staff are helpful and professional too.

It was my first time at a landmark theater, I was very impressed. I went mostly because of the recliner seats in all the theaters which were so comfortable! The snacks were delicious, the popcorn very fresh, I loved the many choices for drinks instead of the basics. Very clean theater which was amazing during these times.

As a PWD. I have always been treated on a very professional level by the staff.
They are awesome because they are kind.
Irks me when I recall seeing a customer “cheated” the cashier on her desk by sneaking a candy into her purse while her order was prepped.
Then when served her popcorn and cup asked about her “included” candy!
Grrr!
Sorry… but it’s still stealing!
I just hope that KARMA has since paid her a visit!

Now… I simply miss the previous CC devices over the current model.
One reason I “practically abandoned” Cineplex
Device difficult to set up in cup holder
Tilts while adjusting and won’t stay in place
During Disney’s Jungle cruise I had to hold the device minutes into the movie which is almost as bad as CinePlex’s where I have often been given a device not properly charged or simply doesn’t work
Button function fails!
(can’t select theatre etc)
If we had the AD ACT here in BC it be a real bummer for all the movie houses!

All in all… Landmark Cinema 10 still better than Cineplex

PS: you shouldn’t have to pay “VIP” type prices to be treated as one!
That’s why I’ll still visit this place!

This is my absolute favourite theatre around Metro Vancouver. I never want to go to any other if I had a choice. I really hope you guys push through the pandemic and when it's safe and there are movies again I'll be back often to support you!

Great theater very convenient since its right off the New West skytrain station platform. Great deals throughout the week and all the theaters have recliners

Can't wait for the lock down to be over so I can watch a movie in this theater. They have the most comfortable seating at competitive prices.

My theater of choice. Right on the Skytrain platform. Very spacious rows with wide recliners, cup holders etc.

This is very comfortable theater at convenient location and also a lot of shops and restaurant. I usually go for twice a month before I have Netflix at home.

Ive been going to this theater since highschool. After they revamped it and added comfy recliners and more space, it became the go to for me and my friends to watch movies on opening night. During covid they have more than enough space between you and the next people over, and sanitizing stations are always close by.

Nice reclining seats! Their COVID protocol are top notch plus not a lot of viewers so social distancing is not hard

Great movie theatre! Super comfortable chairs and reasonable prices. I won't be going back to Cineplex anytime soon after experiencing Landmark!

The reclining seats have to be the highlight of this theater, not to mention at an affordable price! Highly reccomend, viewing area is great as well

I've always loved this theater and through COVID the company has treated their employees well and now that they are open everything was super clean constantly. If anything they have more staff so they can keep up on cleaning after people use things, such as the bathrooms, seats, common areas!

Love this cinema. Easy to get to since it's right next to the station. Seats are very comfy and ticket prices a really affordable.

I have sat in movie theaters as technology changed over 30yrs. This is the cleanest theater, most friendly staff, fresh hot popcorn, and cheaper than their competitors.

Pre-Covid thisbwas my go to theater.

I came by to do a check at Shoppers and I'm glad to see so many measures in place for customer safety.

I walked in and was immediately greeted at the door, ensured I has my mask on and asked for tickets.

I shared I was solely here for Popcorn and went to concessions.

They have a new lineup system with proper spacing and modified menu.

I am happy to report that staff are safe with new precautions too.

Great experience, very happy to see they've adjusted the experience.

Looking forward to seeing a flick soon!

Always clean from washrooms to theater rows. Never that sticky soda floor like at cineplex.

I'll go out of my way to come to this theater instead of cineplex.

Convenient to public transit, seats are comfy and huge and a lot of room so your not hugging a stranger next to you. Extremely comfortable movie theatre and offers good popcorn and candy. My favourite in Vancouver!

They had one person on the front door who was extremely rude and obnoxious, but the remainder of staff is very helpful and courteous. Jessica the manager, is genuinely interested in patron’s experience. The whole staff can learn from her.

Best movie theatre ever! Recliners cant be beat. Since reopening they appear to be paying very carefull attention to sanitation.

Seating is all assigned, with motorized reclining couches, the quality of screen and sound is not as good as a cineplex but the comfortable seats a smaller, less packed theatres plus reduced prices make it far more desirable to enjoy a movie. The popcorn is also better then Cineplex. Conveniently located with sky train multiple restaurants and candy shops within walking distance should you want something different for the movie. Plenary of discounted parking available for theatre visitors.

Easy to buy tickets, amazing recliner seats with plenty of room and space, and best of all, inexpensive. Came here to watch fantastic beasts and it was my girlfriend’s first time here. She loved it and agreed that we were never going to cineplex ever again.

Went to bubble bee 3d movie was so good we would go again seats were so comfy and sounds great very enjoyable atmosphere. I would go back to landmark again

First time at Landmark. Seats are comfy and recline back. Concession lacked options though and the popcorn was stale. Prices for 2 tickets were better than Cineplex but it's a smaller cinema.

The theater was clean and a nice temputure for the duration of the movie. We had the new recliner seats which was a nice feature. The staff were helpful and were able to get our party of 6 pushed through quickly.

The seats were very comfortable and easy to recline, good view even from frout/ second row. Nice staff who were happy to work, I'm definitely going to go bsck.

AWESOME experience! Reclining seats, 3D movie $23 for two general admission! Kind and quick service. Bought gift card 30 bucks and then coupons on top of it! Free this half price that etc.

And the theatre is warm and comfortable. In comparison some cineplex theatres are cooler in temp to my disliking.
Would always recommend. Service is excellent and they provide free refills for popcorn.

Went to watch Wreck it Ralph after a friend told me the tickets are $10. However it was actually $13 on Mondays, about $9 on Tuesdays and $10 everyday else. The reclining seats are amazing and you could probably sleep in there. Had a great time overall!

It is the most relaxing cinema theatre I have being. The chairs are very comfortable, and you feel like being resting in your own house. It was a very good experience.

Hands down the BEST theatre out there! Unbelievably spacious! The super big, super comfy seats can totally recline, with ample room left for other patrons to walk by you without you having to move at all. Each seat has 2 very generous armrests and a drink/popcorn holder. Just loved it! Also love that it's a Canadian chain, always nice to support that. It's definitely not a "B" theatre, A+ all the way! Lastly, it's way cheaper than other theatres!

Kid sunday (Nov 25) the popcorn machines were empty with a big line of people. Missed the first bit of the movie to staff not being prepared. Great experience otherwise. Comfy seats and clean environment

My favorite movie experience. Huge seats, reasonable prices, cheap concession - it covers all the bases. Wish I had one closer to my house - usually attend the New West location when I'm out that way.

They renovated the seats in every theatre - they’re AMAZING. Bye Cineplex - can’t compete with the recliner seats here. They’re super spacious, and you can lift up the armrests to make love seats.

Knocks Cineplex theaters out of the park if you ask me. Their seats are fantastic. Just buy tickets ahead of time because it's always reserved seating and you're golden
