What a joke. The theatre needs upgraded. The movie I just went to had problems with the projector…multiple times.

Run down looking, bandaid fixes. Old, worn out chairs. The house lights stayed on for the first 20 minutes of the movie. I alerted the staff after 10 minutes and their only response was "we know. ". I think the intro credits were cut, because it abruptly switched from commercials to the film. I only come here when it's the only option for certain movies

Good movie, decent screen but wow is my back ever broken from those seats.dont think i want to go through the back pain that follows, shared arm rest with the person beside you and no leg room, even the little port alberni movie theater has recliner seats

The worst washroom I’ve ever been in a movie theatre. More broken locks then the good ones.
The seats inside theatre are bad enough to cause the sore back instantly and the armrest are missing. Also difficult to get up once movie is done.
Definitely won’t go back again.

Seats need updating in Theater #1. Most uncomfortable! Won't be going back.
Could have used that pandemic time to upgrade. Womens washroom stalls are falling apart.

Baddly needs updating. At least it has seat reservation. The 2 lines to get your pop is Terrible. Who wants to stand in one line just to stand in another, Horribly backwards customer service.if I have a choice I won't go there any more. Still the same years later saddly.

The seats were falling apart and so so dirty. Melted chocolate under the seat, and stick stuff everywhere.

I had surprisingly efficient and friendly service from the young man working the afternoon of Friday Sep 23/22…at the concession stand. He was a breath of fresh air in todays service industry that is below par. Thank you and keep it up!

The theater has closed off access to the mall. Cleaned up the entrance, installed drink machines, and are looking for more staff. I saw a evening movie that had been out for a few weeks. I was able to still get a fairly good seat even though I arrived 3 mins to show time. Seats are a bit uncomfortable, if you are short, and they don't recline. Standard theater experience.

Very disappointed that it was not the large reclining lazy-boy style seats. Very friendly, and helpful staff.

When will Landmark revamp the Avalon? Needs the recliner seats like the others. And more choices like the mainland has.

Large popcorn refills. The best. For the price, I'm glad they still do it. Nice seating, pre-picking your seats.

Just allow people to take their free refills home with them when they buy the popcorn. At least in Alberta you can buy popcorn without a movie and take the refill home immediately so you don't need to come back. It was a huge waste of $35 of popcorn.or let people know you need to come back within 3 hours of purchase and need the original greased up bags. Wouldn't recommend this theatre but at least the staff i talked to were nice

Screens are ok, seats are uncomfortable. Most squeak when you sit in them, or the back is broken causing you to fall into the lap of the person behind you. The worst is the washrooms. Most cubicles in the womens have broken locks. For over TWO years now the TP dispenser in the handicap stall has been broken, lying on the floor. I don't see how a person in a wheelchair could use this stall as they would not be able to reach the tp which is lying on the floor! We reported it numerous times, but they never fix it and don't seem to care! Toilets barely flush, leaving what the person before you left behind, gross!

Clean washrooms, theatre and reception areas. Chairs are comfortable and deep seated with no obstruction views. Bonus, the theatre is well ventilated and offers air conditioning. This is a large movie theater. Eight movie theaters, games room, party room. Serving popcorn candy coffee and soda drinks. The theater is very clean with movies running throughout the day and evening.

Definitely not as cool as it once was. Seems to need some updating. The seats are pretty rough and lots of them over extend/fold forward causing you to have to balance on the seat or have to hold yourself in it without sliding off. Staff are great.

The staff here need some help from upper management. There was a large line up and they ran out of popcorn, causing me to miss the first 5 minutes of the movie. I don't blame the staff working there, I blame the higher ups for being out of touch with what actually happens. Maybe some better wages and more staff. Seats where uncomfortable

The lobby is really large, which is necessary for the amount of people ordering snacks/popcorn. The theater itself isnt bad, pretty normal. There's no recliners or surround sound and the Screen is a decent size. Overall it's a really nice theater.

I went to see a 3-D movie except it wasn't really 3-D.picture barley came off the screen.

Big screens and big sound, I'm not sure but I believe they pump the smell off buttered popcorn in to the theatre randomly throughout the show.

Inside the theatres looks better than the lobby. Overpriced snacks. Could use some updating but otherwise good experience.

Went to see the latest Bond movie! While we were there, we won a movie pack! What an awesome promo.

Don't think I've been in a worse theatre.

Dirty, seats are terrible, screen had meter long scratches on it, projector not bright enough.

Don't waste your money coming here.

First time going to this theater (just tan in to grab popcorn to bring home to the kids) but I was super impressed by the girl that helped us, McKenna. She was incredibly helpful and sweet and definitely went out of her way to make sure our popcorn would travel well and not spill. Excellent customer service! Definitely will return, and hopefully see a movie:)

Peeling paint, squeaky seats and doors, damaged screens and THE WORST pre-show advertising and screeners EVER.

So disappointed that they couldn't find the time for some fresh paint inside and some oils hinges while they were closed. Definitely doesn't leave a lasting "good" impression.

It smelled awful in the theater, a lot of broken seats or sticky cup holders (dare I leaned on the armrest without spilling all over the place), not a clean place. I will NEVER come here again! Absolutely disgusting!

My son and enjoy watching a movie there. He likes the big selection of knick knacks and soda pop flavors. I of course love the popcorn with extra butter!

Landmark Cinemas is up and running again and it is so nice being able to see movies again! I've gone 3 times in the past month and my only comment is that the chairs could be a little more comfortable (They aren't even that bad though). Other than that it is a great experience and I would highly recommend this theatre!

So great to be able to go to the movies again. They have done a wonderful job of keeping up the Covid protocols here. There’s plenty of space between you and other people in the theatre and they have people cleaning the common areas non-stop. I was a little apprehensive to be back out in such a large public space but Landmark did a great job making me feel safe. Thank you.

Definitely need to upgrade your seating. Compared to other theaters that have upgraded their seating (to include recliner seats) it is very uncomfortable. If I can avoid going here I will, because thier is a much more comfortable option.

Time to make a change.

The movies are decent enough quality but maaaan, everything else is awful. The bathrooms are in shambles, the seats are terrible, and the concession quality is middling at best. I had hoped at least some improvements would have been made while they were closed over COVID but the same stalls were busted from before. That's just laziness. Don't blame the staff though, they're all doing the best they can with what they've got. Management needs to see that the basics are taken care of.

I pretty much have the same opinion as the other customers regarding the seating. An upgrade is definitely in order. Although.coming out of COVID, I understand why ownership would be carefully about spending money.

The movie itself was good. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite this I'm still giving the theater a bad review

The seats themselves are uncomfortable and falling apart, the cushions are almost nonexistent as it's been so long since replacing

The bathrooms are in horrible disrepair. Burnt spots, graffiti and broken doors and locks. My wife stated that three of the six stalls were basically unusable.

I like going to movies, but this theater makes me think about how much I want to see one, theaters should be an experience, but not in this kind of fashion

I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the movie ticket. The seats are comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean. It's a decent place.

Great staff, fairly priced but please start working on putting in new theater seats. Please, pretty please.
Loved "Quiet Place 1 and now 2"

Went to this theater, the screen we went to was dirty, floors sticky, and the seats actually stunk with a musty odor. The HVAC system was off making the showing uncomfortable and hot. I would recommend avoiding this theater.

It was great to be back in the movie theatre! Yes, they had all the distancing protocols in place but some people just don't have the aptitude to follow them all. I'm hoping that those few movie goers are not doing it on purpose.

They are in definite need of some new seats and the floor was sticky, but that being said they staff were nice and the movie was good.

Nice big movie theatre with lots of choices of shows. Nice staff. I wouldn't order the popcorn though unless you're wealthy. A small size is almost $8 and butter is an extra charge. Oh well, still enjoyed lots of great 3D movies here. And more I would like to see.

Nice big place, a whole lot of concession servers behind the counters so they're able to get through the line up pretty quickly. When I had an issue the manager took the time to listen and offered a free pass to try to make it right. The theaters were fine from what I remember and I would return here again

Higher costs of tickets and food is to be expected these days. What I didn't like was just how uncomfortable the theatre seats and arm rests have become, the padding is old and deflated. Hard to get comfortable for any length of time.

This theatre is a joke. We just saw Endgame and sat in row J in the middle of theatre 7. The chairs are brutal. Armrests seek to be installed upside down (soft cushion on the underside and where you rest your arm on the top is essentially 2 thin painful metal rails. Also where we were sitting the projector didn’t seem to be properly setup and for most of the time it was like sitting under a spotlight, Which was extremely distracting when trying to watch the movie in an otherwise dark room. Overall terrible experience.
