Lasser Produce is one of our favourite fruit stands in Keremeos.
They have a great variety of fresh local fruits, vegetables and snacks.
Walking into their beautifully organized and spacious store, you can tell it's run with lots of love and care.
Don't forget to grab a yummy samosa for the road!

Stopped by on our way home from the lake.
Pro’s: the prices on pre-packaged products was lower than almost everywhere else (and same of Gerry’s across the street) — As reference 1.5ish carton of cherry juice was 14.49 while other places sold the same brand and size for 18.99 and 19.99). And cherries were $25 for 10lb while others close by were $30 for 10lb)
A very good selection of pre-packaged products like jams and juices and such. (great for gifts)
The service was at least a bit friendly.
The store was well organized and clean.
Con’s:
Almost all of the fruit was pre-portioned and pre selected into baskets (like a lot of other markets in the area)
The 10 lb box of cherries we got looked great on initial look-through, but after we got home we found it had significantly more spoiled ones in the mix than the ones we got a week earlier from another stand. They were also smaller and not quite as big or sweet. But I honestly don’t know if this was harvest/timing as sometimes a week can make a real difference, or if it was a reflection of their comparative quality.
The blue berries were still good, but again not nearly as good as the ones we got a week before from another stand.

Bought very good fruit. Has a toilet, a basin to wash the fruit and benches to eat them at the same time. Nice service.

Don't buy from this place, they will overcharge you at the cashier, and quality of the products not very good.

I wanted to buy so much more, but I can o lying eat so much. Fabulous fresh fruit nuts, locally made juices and jams. And a clean bathroom.

It's cherry season at the fruit stands. And Lasser's has you covered. Peaches and apricots are arriving now as well as some very delicious! Staff are friendly and helpful. Lasser has recently started making thier own sodas using fruit directly from the orchards. I'll be trying one of those sodas soon.

We were there at pumpkin harvest time. Beautiful products! Unfortunately we could only take two with us!)
