Laura's Coffee Corner White Rock

Food was great. I have been there around five times. Not in love with the service. I was there with one friend that haven't seen in a long time
I was very into the conversation that forgot about my sandwich.
The cashier didn't tell me that I suppose to wait for it, sometimes you have to wait for around ten minutes which is understandable since it is made fresh so I decided to wait in my table and enjoy the conversation with my friend. She went and gave it to me and reminded me that I suppose to pick it up from the bar. The coffee wasn't that busy in that specific moment.not willing to give the extra mile. You clearly see that some employees don't enjoy what they do. I didn't see the need for the reminder

Really good food and coffee. Ambiance is awesome. Prices are modest compared to other local cafes.

The new owners have been rude since I returned, as well as prices went up for mediocre quality. Im not sure what they’re up to but I’ll give it one more try before I’m done. I think they maybe got rid of the chicken Caesar wrap too

I purchased a $25 gift certificate from my sons school fundraiser in May 2023. The new owners could not see my gift card and gave me $9 worth of food and said let's just call it even. Major rip off and bad customer service from these people. I won't be back.

Laura's Coffee Corner, located in the White Rock area, truly captivated me with its delicious offerings and delightful atmosphere. The diversity in their menu is impressive, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. I especially loved the toast they prepare for breakfast; it's an absolute must-try!
The cafe is clean and well-organized, and the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. The owner's attention to detail and passion are evident in every aspect.
Furthermore, I was very impressed by the cafe's interior design and style, which sets this place apart.
This wonderful cafe is a hidden gem in the White Rock area, and I definitely want to visit again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all coffee and food enthusiasts!

Best iced chai my friend and i have ever had, but food experience was upsetting.i made sure to ask for no dairy on my sandwich (i'm lactose intolerant and vegan besides) and the person behind the till was lovely and understanding.they clarified what was to be on the sandwich.took it to-go, and when i opened it, there was a generous amount of havarti cheese on the sandwich. I was disappointed, to say the least.they were short-staffed today which may have contributed to the slip-up, but i'd caution people with severe intolerances or allergies to double check their food.

I discovered this delightful cafe through a heartfelt recommendation from dear friends. Upon entering, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of fresh baked pastries being prepared in the open kitchen. The coffee was amazing, and the freshly baked treats evoked a comforting, homemade sensation. If you find yourself in White Rock, I highly recommend this place for its great coffee, delectable pastries, and welcoming atmosphere.

Laura's is a very sweet little place to go and hang out with a friend for a coffee or a lunch. I have to admit it's a bit pricey, and sometimes there's a bit of a wait to order your food, but overall the food is very good. I love the outdoor patio. But there's also places to sit inside, and also in a covered patio indoor outdoor area.

I enjoyed my morning with great foods in Laura’s Coffee Corner. Foods are fresh and tasty. This cafe is boasts of warm features like bare brick walls, cozy beam ceilings, and green thumbs. Classy place to start your day!

The baked goods and soup here are really exceptional. You have a lady at the register that really should take a breather from dealing with customers. She is hit or miss when it comes to nice treatment and she would be best used behind the scenes. I am sure you know who.

Cheese and onion scone was delicious. My friend enjoyed her raspberry lemon one. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte but all the flavour was at the bottom. Cool decor.

I’ve been enjoying Laura’s coffee corner for over 10 years and it has only got better! Outstanding service and quality food every time. I also love the effort Laura and staff put into community connection! Nothing better than having a local spot where everyone knows your name, your kids, and checks in with how you are doing. I feel the love every time I stop by!

The cutest little corner coffeeshop /bakery! I came all the way from downtown and was pleasantly surprised! They have the sweetest staff, everyone is super friendly and relaxed. Such yummy food and coffee. Would highly recommend

Have been going to Laura's for years but have never got round to write a review. The place is absolutely wonderful. The coffee is great, baked goods are sensational and the service is excellent. Laura herself is very friendly and personable. Highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed in the baked goods here after reading all the great reviews.picked up a half dozen box of baked goods and were surprised to find they were stale and dried out. We served these to our guests and they even mentioned they tasted like days old.

We were sorely disappointed in the quality as we had higher expectations from reading the reviews and embarrassed to serve to those who visited us.

It was the first time for me as O was invited by a regular of the coffee shop. It was very homely, old style service with a smile. The coffee and muffins were great, the staff was friendly and the kain was great.

I’ve been here alone, on a first date, and to catch up with a best friend of mine. Each visit has been so memorable. There’s something about the ambience that makes me feel like I’m in a coffee shop in a tv show or something. The coffee is great, the food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly. There’s one woman who has taken my order every time with pretty colourful eyeliner and she has made my visits so special by complimenting me/ recommending food items/ making conversation with me! This place is a gem!

My husband and I love stopping here for lunch when We are in white rock for our physio appointments. We really appreciate the staff - especially the bus guys! They are so friendly and hard working!:) The food js also fabulous!

Still a very busy place with dine-in snacks, lunch, and baked sweets. Laura's Coffee Corner is the best around, especially in the city of White Rock. Laura's rating is top for a reason, because she works hard, is very hands on when I saw her mixing one of her recipes yesterday. She's in the back as usual. The facts are a top rating in the 92nd percentile after 600+ reviews. What a great achievement.

Nice place. Good coffee. Different vibe here than I personally like for a coffee shop. It's a little more hustle and bustle I'd say. Nice place, but not a place I would personally chill and drink my coffee and do some work on my laptop.

Covid has impacted everyone but 30 mins for a panini was unreal. Anyways good luck. Underwhelming experience. Front of staff were nice just service really stung.

Such a great vibe here. An amazing ocean view from the patio. Super cool decor. Friendly staff. So many delicious baking choices. Highly recommend the chocolate banana bread. Great gluten free options too. Try the Canadiano: like an Americano but with Maple Syrup, eh? YUM.

My friend was in there a few days ago and was treated horribly. They'll be hearing from her again. Businesses not honoring medical exemptions can be fined up to 75,000. This will be pursued for sure. No different than not serving a person in a wheelchair or somebody who's blind.

We've gone to this cafe many times over the years. The food is delicious and employees are friendly.
They also do so many helpful things for the local community, like food drive collections.

Super tasty breakfast sandwich, available on GF English muffin and they tend to be careful about asking about cross contamination, super nice to see! I think there’s a couple of items my son (multiple allergic) can have but not many. That’s not rare tho.lol

All baking is top notch, arguably the best in the area. Prepared breakfast is simple and wholesome-not a ton of flavour, but you can tell its healthy.

I am the first person to choose support of local cafes over big franchises-
Have heard good things about Lauras, so I went in several times now, each visit weeks apart. Each and every time, there are flies sitting on the baked goods, flying about the case with impunity. Each time I mentioned to the staff-
"I would have loved a brownie or cookie with my coffee.but there are flies in your baking case"
Staff: "Oh. Okay. " (brushes fly away from baking and it just lands on another one. Shrugs and takes my $$.)
This is the ONLY cafe I've been to where they have a baking case that is built so that it's not closed. Sorry but if every other cafe can purchase (or refit) their baking case so their product remains sanitary, why can't Laura's?
I go to a different cafe for this one reason; can't refer people here until this "ick factor" is fixed, sorry.
