Le Doux Ciel (悦来）

Christmas themed moysse cakes are cute, however, the taste is not there. They are of supermarket bakery standard.

Croissants are good and not too overly sweet. I tried the strawberry one first and thought it was good but the almond one was my favorite. Macron was decent. The decor in this place is very cute and would be perfect for photo ops.

Croissant and cappuccino is love, recommendation.

It is very nice place, esthetically. Also the mignon and croissant are very well decorated. The croissant is good, but nothing exceptional.
Very nice place if you want to take Instagram pics, but not recommended if you want to enjoy real patisserie.

Love the interior design. It’s so cute. The servers were nice, and the croissants were large.

We found this hidden by chance when we smelled a mouthwatering croissant baking aroma while walking by the place, and we were not disappointed! They have some of the best croissants we have ever tasted with a wide variety of fillings and flavours. The server was so nice that he gave us 4 different macaroons to taste, and they were all delicious!

Clean. Beautiful. Cute design. The staff is so nice and friendly! The matcha latte and the cappuccino is delicious! And you NEED to try the Passion Fruit sponge cake: life changing!

Had a relaxing tea and croissant to go. The Hazelnut croissant is full of hazelnuts, the filling was balanced well -not too sweet -and the lamination of the pastry was lovely. Will definitely come back again!

Very pretty cafe. Unique croissant flavours, we tried salted egg yolk stuffed croissant. They have many other pastries (tiramisu, mousse cakes, etc), we will be back for more!

I decided to prove it just because it was close to my home, and I was surprised by it. The place is super cute and cozy, the service is very good too. It has some very beautiful sweet options and also a wonderful hazelnut croassant that is worth trying. My favorite sweet was the black forest, the flavor is smooth and you can find small pieces of cherry in it. The macaroons are wonderful I recommend trying the lemon and raspberry. Everything was packed with great care, the price is a little high but it's worth it.

I live in the neighbourhood and can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Their croissants are absolutely lovely. They are perfectly flaky and buttery. I have tried the hazelnut and strawberry mascarpone and I absolutely love they that are not overly sweet, but still flavourful. The staff has always been nice in every visit, and particularly today Dec 23,2020 the staff at the front was super nice and helpful. Definitely recommend coming here, and I can’t wait to try the full menu.

I like the decoration of this place, quite pinky and dreamy, a lot of insta girls taking pictures here. I was here for the cake because it looks pretty, and the tastes are good, but I do have a few words for the cake (hope the baker does not mind) XD

The sesame cake is great! I did not expect the sour berry jam layer inside the cake, which gives a refreshing taste of the overall. Really smart idea and appreciate the surprise. The sponge at the bottom tastes good, but colour-wise the yellow does not match the beautiful purple and black, I would use chocolate sponge or just simply get rid of it instead.

The Black Forest cake is the one I feel a little bit not satisfied, reason being the harmony of the bitter and sweet and rum is not there. I really love the brandy-soaked cherries, since a lot of cake shop used just cherry brandy instead. But the kirsch portion inside the mousse is too much.and because there is no chocolate sponge in between to buffer the taste, overall the taste of alcohol is too strong unfortunately. I understand it is a mousse cake so no sponge included, but maybe a layer of heavy cream blend with mascarpone cheese and melt marshmallow in between? The slightly of sourness and texture can be a great add on. And the top layer (finishing) instead white chocolate, what about crushed meringue pieces?

Overall rating is still 5/5.these comments are my personal preferences only.

I came here for the atmosphere but was really surprised about how good the desserts are. The staff was really friendly and each dessert was super fluffy and very flavourful. I would recommend this place over Thierry. Will definitely be back!

The coffee and desserts here are amazing and the customer service has been nothing but perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting

Very good chocolate croissant. Unfortunately, the customer service is very poor and does not have good vibe either. Employees are not well trained. My coffee was done inadequately as I ordered a capuchino and they gave me a latte and tasted really bitter. In addition, they are not trained to wrap the patisseries properly because when I came home, all of the cakes were destroyed in their box.

Great pastries and good coffee in a nice location. Interior is very well done, "princessy, " with a good ambiance.

I saw an article online about Le Doux Ciel offering afternoon tea, so I decided to make a reservation to try it out. Although the food was of good quality, I couldn't ignore some issues I had:

1. What my friend and I noticed right away was that the tables were low and awkward. We were hunching and just felt so uncomfortable eating. They do have 2 booths that have higher tables, but I'm assuming they are for bigger groups.

2. You have to choose between raspberry jam, butter or whipped cream for the scones. I've been to quite a few afternoon tea salons and these would all be provided. I decided to go with the raspberry jam, but received an unknown jam with no explanation as to what it was. We happened to hear from a neighbouring table that there actually wasn't any raspberry jam available, but instead a darjeeling tea jelly. We weren't aware of this, and had I known that, I would've chosen something else.

3. There is a choice between two different sandwiches. I decided to go with the roast beef, while my friend tried the chicken and apple. We were surprised to see that they were significantly different in size.

4. The Aburi sushi and hoisin smoked duck in crisp wonton were very tasty, but I found that it didn't really mix with the rest of the menu. The aburi sushi was also really saucy and messy.

At $49.99 + tax per person, I definitely didn't think it was worth it.

Great customer service and most delicious dessert shop I have been to. A must try for you dessert lovers out there!

Love their pastry selection! Their croissant is one of the best. I always come for their double baked and other things. Highly recommend to try the almond and hazelnut croissant!
