This place is a great find. The red velvet cake was a crowd pleaser. Also one of the first places we could get a unicorn cake in Vancouver! The designs are absolutely beautiful and the owner and staff are very friendly. My family’s favourite would be the London Fog cake. I hope this can be made available by special order!

I bought a wedding cake tasting box with all vegan flavours. Each flavour was absolutely incredible, but I can comfortably say that the red velvet was the best cake I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. I will be ordering my cake from Le Gateau for my wedding in September!

Wonderful customer service experience today. I needed a last minute cake for a birthday. These amazing folks were open for business with fresh made cakes to choose from. The price was extremely fair especially when you are receiving such a high level of genuine client care.

Terrible terrible terrible. The worst ever pastries I ever have …. Period … absolutely not going back. I didn’t try their cakes though, but guess I am gonna to pass.

Got a box of variety box of cup cakes and oh boy are they good. Every single flavour is amazing. The cake is moist and the frosting doesn't just taste like sugar. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right. I know where to get cake from now on!

I’ve been a regular customer for a long time but recently I ordered a wedding cake from Tanya. She listened to my vision and created a beautiful masterpiece for my intimate wedding. I also had to transport it on the ferry and she had it packaged so well, it arrived in one piece. From cake tasting to pickup, it was all very seamless and of course the cake tasted amazing. We chose the lemon olive oil gateau which tasted bright and not too rich. We’ll definitely order again when we have another occasion.

Tanya beautifully captured our vision for the cakes. Very impressed with the look, quality and taste of the cakes. She was also very easy to work with!

Managed to get one of their Too Good To Go surprise bags and it didn't disappoint! Received 4 tasty and decadent items including 2 mini cakes (1 was a chocolate mousse), a berry scone, and a pear frangipane tart. The staff gave instructions on how to best consume the items after refrigeration. They were all delicious and aesthetically beautiful - loved the thin slices of pears in the centre of the tart. One could easily find parking out front when not during rush hour. The surprise bag gave us a chance to try some of their menu and we'd love to return!
