Le Petit Saigon

Has been my favourite pho for a few years. I always love coming here and feel welcomed by the staff right away. Best spring rolls in Vancouver too!

We requested a lunch for our office. The food was all fantastic. 100% would order again. Also, their service was almost unbelievable. An order for 12 people arrived in just over half an hour!

I came here for lunch and had a vermicelli bowl with beef skewers and fried spring rolls. The food was tasty and enjoyable. I wish I had room for dessert because the people sitting at the table next to me had one and it looked delicious. I'll dine here again.

Solid spot for good food at a good price. Broth tasted clean and well balanced. Meat was fresh, great solid spring rolls. I adore these kinds of low key classic Vietnamese noodle spots.

My go-to pho noodle place. Love their noodles, so chewy yet soft. Their portion is huge. The soup is aromatic and seasoned right. Servers are always friendly and really care about their customers. Always two thumbs up!

Heard this place had pretty good pho in Vancouver. It did not disappoint I think I found my new go to pho location if I'm ever in this area. That broth was amazing I could have drank it all

The quality and flavour of the food is amazing! Very affordable prices, free parking behind the restaurant. Staff were all lovely and very fast service.

I Dont Come to eat here anymore My friend ordered chicken and pork chops on rice they given a little bit of rice I ask some more rice they change 3.50 of small rice total for the dish chicken and pork chops on rice 19 dollar what the hell

Revisited Le Petit Saigon and their decor looks great! The house special pho was amazing - same as it was before.

Vermicelli was great with two spring rolls!

Would recommend for a Vietnamese place on Hastings during the day.

Been going here for almost a decade, sometimes their broth is a hit or miss but overall this place has my heart for pho and bun bo hue so those misses can be forgiven

The iced coffee with cream was fantastic, and the meal portions were generous and delicious.

Edit: I actually came back a second time at the end of my vacation in Vancouver. If you're in this area, it's a fantastic place to go.

Good service, spacious and good food came out fast. Soup base was not overly salty and piping hot. Noodles were fine and generous portion for large pho special meat.

DONT NOT GET THE SHREDDED PORK SALAD ROLLS. It tasted really sandy and powdery somehow, it leaves an extremely unpleasant taste in your mouth, I tried pulling some out with my finger and can literally feel a strange gritty powder on my fingers. I’ve had a lot of salad rolls from numerous viet restaurants and never ever came across anything like this.

Superb flavours, excellent presentation and the best shredded pork anywhere. The spring rolls are delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Pho got better recently. This used to be one of my last resort places for pho.but, I actually liked my last bowl there

I ordered the sugar cane prawns and stew beef noodle. The stew beef is overcook and I told the waitress, she just says sorry then she walks away.

The service was very slow even though the restaurant didn't seem to be busy. The waitress took the order of a couple who arrived after us before coming and taking our order. We ordered drinks (lemonade and orange) and were brought to us when we were almost done our soups. The pho soups were average. I don't think we are going to be back.

Just the worst Vietnamese food I have ever had! The broth has no seasoning, taste like water added with fish sauce. It gets worse, the food there was really salty.
With all that said, the staff there were very nice and welcoming, but it could not save the terrible food.

Ordered from here a couple of times for takeout and it has been pretty good. Food is made quickly and the portions are quite large. Their grilled chicken in vermicelli is basic, but comes with a decent sized portion of chicken. We ordered a side of spring rolls and it was really good. It had plenty of filling and it was crisp and delicious. I tried out the assorted rice noodle soup (dry). Typically when I order this dish from other restaurants, it comes with soup on the side. However, theirs didn't. But the noodles had good flavour and there was plenty of it. There were pieces of fishcake, imitation crab, squid, prawns, and vietnamese ham. I wish there was other pieces of pork or a bit more seafood as there was too much noodle for the amount of topping. But it was still tasty. Overall, the food portions are good and it was a satisfying meal.

I had a Rare sliced beef & rice noodle soup from DoorDash and it was amazing! I’ve been trying to find a good pho restaurant since I moved to Vancouver and I haven’t been able to find one yet, so I was super happy! We also ordered Saigon rolls and it was super great as well. We’re moving to this neighbourhood this week and we’re super excited to be close to this reatauranr! 5 stars!

Low key restaurant on Hastings. Interior decor simple but nice. Nice variety on menu. Food was very good. Prices are reasonable. Service was excellent. I would recommend this place for a nice Vietnamese lunch or dinner.

Todays meal was disappointing for the cost, and the 30 minutes I waited for take out. The stir fried assorted seafood and vegetables had one shrimp, one small squid, and a bunch of cheap imitation crab and peppers. We ended up throwing it out. The beef stew was not what I remembered either. Had nothing but a few chunks of beef and carrots. I remember eating here in the past and it was good. Not sure what happened.

Yummy food good fast service and reasonable prices. My kids and I go here often, it’s one of our favourite places to go for Vietnamese food

The foods I eat wasn't really bad, but it was not very tasty, the price was high, great quality service.

I had their house special No. 10, "Minced Shrimp Wrapped in Sugar Cane, Grilled Beef, Shrimp Salad Roll, and BBQ Minced Pork - Chao Tom, Thit Nuong, Goi Cuon, Nem Nuong". It was sensational!

We were in this restaurant with family today. To say it was perfect means to say nothing. Ordered 4 different meals and were satisfied for 200%. Everything tastes just perfect and looks so fresh. Portions are so big, that we asked containers to take it home. The restaurant is very clean.
Special thanks to the owner who has recruited such a friendly staff. Smiling, gentle and friendly talking guys.
Will go to Le Petit Saigon again and again. From now on this is the one of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver.

My go to Vietnamese place in the city. Everything I've tried on the menu is amazing, especially the BBH! Consistently super friendly service (even if you don't speak vietnamese - to counter other reviews ;) ) and amazing prices and portions.

Good vietnamese restaurant and plenty of choices to choose from. In my perspective, its a comfort vietnamese restaurant and since i live close by, i will be coming back here again to try the other menu. Cheers! I hope this helps!

Not the friendliest staff, but that can change if you speak vietnamese lol. Good food presentation. Proportion is not too small or big. Also open til later time compared to other vietnamese restaurant so you can grab a bite a bit later like me.

This place has been here for sometime, I was always walking by it and always going to the joint Bau Chau up the street. The other day we were trying to go to Bau Chau, however they were closed. I decided to try Le petite Saigon and I was pleasantly surprised. Cleanliness, presentation, service and taste were all on point. Will definitely go back! For a Vietnamese restaurant it is definitely a 5 star!

Ordered these items for delivery:

Bun Bo Hue (beef stew with rice noodle)
Spring roll
Lemon grass chicken salad roll

First off, I have to say that everything I had ordered was delicious in their own way. The soup was nice a savory.
The amount of the soup noodle incredible! Same size as if you were to be eating in the restaurant.

(Some places give you way less ingredients during take out) but these guys give you the proper actual amount.

My new favourite pho place!

First off I need to mention the decor. Not sure if it was leftover from a previous restaurant, but it is beautiful & I have to be honest, not what you would expect to see at a pho place.

We ordered the following:

2 Spring Rolls
#23 Small w/Extra Beef Balls
#36 w/Half Noodles
Iced Coffe
3 Colour Bean Pudding

The spring rolls we nice & crispy on the outside with great flavour on the inside.

The #23 small seemed a little smaller than what you would normally expect, but they more than made up for it with the extra beef balls. That was the most beef ball pieces I have seen in a pho, they did not disappoint!

The #36 was a Seafood Soup with Rice Noodles. I asked for 1/2 noodles & if that was their definition of 1/2 a full order would easily feed a family of 4. The broth had a wonderful flavour & it had a decent amount of seafood in it.

The Iced Coffee was great but a little too strong for me. If I drank the whole thing I would be vibrating out of there. My partner enjoyed it.

The 3 Colour Bean Pudding was okay. I liked it because it wasn't too sweet, but I thought there was too many kidney beans in it. I finished it nonetheless.

Service was adequate.

Overall this is a nice little restaurant that I'd be happy to visit again.

I was craving pho and I'm vegetarian. I came across this restaurant and would not come back. The vegetarian pho was very oily and the vegetables were NOT fresh at all. The BBH my bf ordered was very oily as well. Would not recommend anyone here nor come back.

One of my favorite places for pho and Vietnamese cuisine! They have an amazing tomato beef brisket soup broth which is my go to! This place has parking in the back and always has space to eat inside. The staff are great and the service is very fast if you're looking for a quick bite. Definitely one of the better places for pho in the city!

I ordered grilled porkchop on rice on uber eats with extra chicken but ended up only receiving chicken and no porkchop. Called the store and the lady just wants to hang up asap after saying "sorry we got it wrong. " I understand mistakes happen but the store should at least give some effort to make things right.

Ordered through Skip the Dishes tonight. I have been wanting to try this place for ages so thought we would give it a try tonight. We ordered the Vegetarian Pho - Pho Chay and 2 veggie salad rolls. The pho was extremely greasy & oily and had hardly any flavour. The vegetables were nicely steamed but that was about it. They did not give us any hoisin or sriacha sauce and no basil - just a hige bag of sprouts there were not fresh and tons of jalapeño peppers. We did not finish the pho and threw it a way.the salad rolls were not better either - the lettuce was wilted and again the sprouts were brown. My husband ate 2 bites and threw it away - I tried to eat a bit more but threw away half. The salad rolls were just carrot, lettuce, sprouts & noodle - no avocado or tofu to add substance. We complained to Skip the Dishes and got some of our money back. As vegetarians this is probably the worst place to eat - I am sure the strong reviews come from meat eaters who are looking for a more authentic meal but if you are veggie pass 100%. There are many other better places to eat.

Another work lunch, this time from Le Petit Saigon on Hastings! I didn't feel hungry enough for pho, so I got 2 spring rolls and a ham and shrimp salad roll instead.

I always prefer spring rolls over salad rolls, but I wanted something fresh with veggies to balance out the deep-friedness. Both were really good! The spring rolls were crispy, crunchy and stuffed with filling. The salad roll was light and refreshing.

This is a favourite of ours. Before covid, it was an annual tradition to come here for lunch before going to the PNE, so that we would only need to pay for dinner while there, because fair food is $$$! Their pho is solid too!

Regularly do take-out work lunch from here and they are consistently delicious! Large portions and their spring rolls are the bomb!

Our first choice when it comes to Vietnamese food. 5 stars for the quality and quality. Plus, saving $5 when you spend $20 on Uber eats won’t get you wrong.

If you’re looking for the best pho in town this is it. I’ve been to countless places in Vancouver, I’ve spent a bit of time in Vietnam. This is the best one. The staff are friendly and professional. The soup flavour is out of hand.
Hung over? Get soup. Trying to eat healthy? Get soup. Looking for a quick snack? Soup.
There’s always a reason to get pho, there isn’t a reason to not go to le petite.

Delicious spicy pho but was missing something. Maybe spicey satay peanut sauce. That's just me though. Great spring rolls too.

We ordered beef stew noodle soup for takeout from ubereats.

There is too little soup given and it doesn’t really feel like soup noodle.

The broth that came with the vegetarian pho tasted like chicken broth, highly doubt the broth was vegetarian. Salad rolls were average.

Le petite Saigon has been our go to pho restaurant for years. Staff is excellent and food is always delicious and comes out in a timely manner. I always recommend this place!

This is one of the best Pho places around, their broth is #1 in my view, reasonably priced and service depends on who is there but mostly positive.
Their grilled pork chop pho is really good.

Ordered ourselves a feast for dinner through skip. Had beef pho, chicken pho, Saigon rolls, and lemon chicken with rice. Everything was phenomenal very tasty fresh and made with love. Huge portions fed 4 people easily.

Best broth I've had in a long time! Ordered the House Special, no tripe, which is what I like to try the first time I go to a place. Lots of meat, brisket was really good, tendon was so tender, and like I said off the top: best broth I've had in a long time. Found my new go to spot in the neighborhood

This place use to be great to order from on skip the dishes but it’s taken a turn for the worse. Missing items and seems like they are giving smaller portions out such a sad thing to say but it’s true.

Huge tasty portions. I went there during PNE times to save money on food. It was busy in there but service was still quick and efficient. I highly recommend this place!

Probably my favorite place for Vietnamese. Spring rolls are very addictive, try their 3 flavour beef on vermicelli which you don't see on most menus

Great pho. Reasonably priced. Ample parking out back. My favorite broth in the city, and they use a slightly weightier noodle. Lots of meat as well.

We stopped off here for a quick dinner. We had the rare beef noodle soup, chicken hot pot and a spring roll. Service was friendly but a bit abrupt. "Sit here, small table". We didn't get the choice to sit at a table with the nice booth seating on the other side of the restaurant, and there was a round table right up to one of our chairs.

We asked for no cilantro in the soup, and it came with very little else. No onions, no spring onions. Not sure what they usually give, as this is the first time we came here. The broth was really nice and rich, with a hint of cinnamon (?) In it. Not greasy either.

The chicken hot pot was very tasty, with shredded carrot, wood ears, ginger and onion in the bowl. The chicken was nicely grilled and the rice had the flavour from the veggies seeping into it. The strange part was when it was brought to our table, the server took the napkin I had placed on the table to pick the lid off my dish to take it back to the kitchen.

The spring roll was crispy and tasty, but small for $3.

House special pho is not pho. It’s hu tieu (noodles) and bad noodle soup as well. At least the lime and hot peppers were fresh and plentiful. Necessary to mask the awful taste of the soup.
