This place has tragically gone downhill. How you run out of honey dips at noon is ridiculous. In fact there were barely any real donuts left. There seems to always be an overabundance of cake donuts which have since replaced most of the real ones.

Although they are famous for their glazed donuts right out of the oven, which put all other glazed donuts to shame, the day I went there, I opted for their cake donuts. Crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, they are a great alternative (with a variety of flavors too). Bonus: they keep better, so you don't have to eat them all at once! Excellent service helps too.

I read a lot of recommendations to come here if visiting Granville Island Markets. It's located on the outside of the building, so it is easier to find it from the outside, rather than walking around inside. No lines when I was there on a Tuesday afternoon. Lots of yummy flavours and it wasn't as sweet as it looks, which was great. Reasonably priced and excellent service.

Lee’s donuts in Granville Public Market is by far the best authentic donuts I ever had. It’s fresh and made daily. So if you’re having something from there, be assured it was made freshly made in the morning. The donuts are fairly priced at $2.5 each and you can choose from a variety of over 15 types. If you’re visiting Vancouver, then this is a must try to savour your sugar craving.

Good doughnuts - the filled ones & the honey glazed one were the best! The local seagulls are also huge fans of these doughnuts so watch out for ‘em!

While I liked their donuts, it's not worth the 20 minutes lineup. The Bavarian cream donut was 5/5, the Honey Dew dip 4/5. The chocolate crumble was 2/5- I didn't like it, but to each their own. The staff was very friendly and nice. I would go again if there's no lineup.

Seth Rogan must smoke that good good cuz I don't know how high you need to be to call this the best doughnuts in the world. This place is not even mid at best; it's simply overrated. They are bland Dunkin' Donuts knock offs. If you're visiting Vancouver, try Cartems Donuts instead.

Talk about one of my favourite donut shop! Fresh made and they taste so good! If you love sweet and sour, raspberry jelly is the perfect combination. Don't miss it!

Easily some of the best donuts I've ever had. The dough is so light and fluffy. They have cake donuts and a nice assortment of flavors. Do not be put off by the constant line up out the door. The service is fast and the donuts are well worth the wait!

Some of the best cake donuts I’ve ever had. We arrived early and didn’t wait much. We’ll be back!

Tad overrated and busy since Netflix. Many others in the city do it better and have no lines. Acceptable option when on Granville island anyway but wouldn't go specifically for it imho.

My favourite chocolate cake donut- moist and decadent And the honey glazed was solid, it being sweet, pillowy and glutenous. Totally recommend it, not overhyped imo!
Note: really wish they had a maple bacon flavour

Lee’s donuts in Granville island has a line up that never ends. But they live up to their hype. I had the cinnamon donut and it was light and fluffy and perfect. Who doesn’t love eating donuts by the ocean?

Horrible customer service. Bought a pack of 12 and I asked later if I can have another box as I want to share the donuts and they didn't accept as they "have limited stock". It's clear they take their customers just for walking wallets. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. First and last time

Best cake donuts I've had. Light, airy and not greasy. Frosting are just the right amount and not overkill. $25/dozen may be a little steep in price but when you're on vacation, it's all about the experience of new things. Definitely worth the wait in line for these.

Located inside of Market. Mostly line up and takes 5-10 min to be able to get in, many choices are available, some of them too sweet but generally are good.

Simply Yum! The line looks long but is fast moving and worth the wait. The only thing that was a little sad was you had to select from the ones that are currently present. Almost all products are great.

I didn't really get the hype. Saw the long line and got into it to try their donuts since everyone's raving about it. But, I didn't think they were anything special.

Had their honey glazed and thought it was fine.
I got their last Lemon filled and that was def.better - really strong lemon flavor and lots of filling. The dough was nice.

Maybe overrated? Meh.

We waited a long time before finally coming to visit Lee's after a mediocre experience at the Langley pop-up shop at Willowbrook. Friends urged us to try this location, and highly recommended the yeast doughnuts. I'm glad we did; it was a classic doughnut experience.

We tried a few different ones, but our favorites were the mango one (sugar exterior with a nice tangy mango curd filling) and The Fritter. Pretty sure someone in the line behind us was audibly bummed out when we got the last ones.

Now, let me tell you, that fritter was like a personal doughnut-sized pie for $5. It was huge and glorious and filled with real raspberry filling and hints of cinnamon throughout. Not too heavy and filled from 2 sides, this was a treat I likely could have shared but didn't - definitely ate the whole thing. It sounded from the staff's description that the fritter filling varies. Our child also really enjoyed the sprinkle yeast donut. It was worth the visit.

For folks on the other side of the river, Lee's at Granville Island reminded us a lot of the doughnuts we enjoy at Gourmet Donuts and Coffee in Walnut Grove. Would definitely come again!

Undoubtedly the best I have had till date. Honey dipped being my first favourite! Second being the vanilla filled ones!

Family suggested going here instead of Krispy Kreme because too far. It did not disappoint. A little more doughy but definitely melt in your mouth with a coffee and a nice view.

Donuts taste fine, but a little overrated when you do not have a sweet tooth.

There's a line up, though fast service.

Found inside the Market.

I was there a few months ago. Donuts are very delicious. I was there today & the line up for lees was a continuous line. All carry out boxes of donuts.
27 August 2022 14:36
Always good donuts. The workers need to be patient with new customers whom never had lees before.

I would gain so much weight if I lived close to Lee’s Donuts. Fortunately for me, I live thousands of miles away. Their donuts is addicting. While standing in line, my wife and I got to see them make donuts fresh which was a nice and unique experience. Highly recommend everyone to try the honey dipped donut, matcha, and cake.
24 August 2022 2:18
Overhyped.they were similar to Krispy Kreme.good flavor, freshly made, worth to try.nothing really special though
21 August 2022 13:33
I normally don't like donuts because they are very heavy but Lee's donuts were fluffy and light. It was worth the line up.
11 August 2022 5:20
Fresh and delicious! Also nice that the are reasonably priced and you don't have to drive to deep cove to fight for parking.
09 August 2022 14:33
Ordered the raspberry fritter today and I have to say that it is one of the greatest donuts I have ever eaten in my life! For $5 I got a fritter that was the size of my face. My wife and I shared it and it was amazing. I would go back to the area just for another donut.
05 August 2022 23:53
Worth the lineup and wait.
Freshest donut Ive ever had. You cant compare it with regular fast food style Donuts.
Coconut and Matcha one was my Favorites

Honestly a disappointment when I had my order of cinnamon donut. The batter/ donut was too cakey. Was not expecting to be eating into a cake like texture. Flavour was ok, nothing too extraordinary. Staffs getting our order was pushy and ignored my questions? ! Had high hopes for this shop since we waited in line for a while, expecting the quality to be on point.

It really is just a donut place with quite a few selections, nothing special about it. But I'll stick with my Krispy Kreme donut instead.
