Had a great experience purchasing new glasses. Everyone was very helpful. So nice to get the eye exam done then go right next door to the glasses side. Made it very easy to get it all done quickly.

Bought 2 pair of glasses last year. Ray Ban prescription sun glasses best glasses I have ever owned. Bought replacement insurance. Returned to Lenscrafter when year up just to check lenses. Informed I could do complete frame and lens replacement for $50 a pair with no questions asked. Great great warranty and prescription for progressive prescription perfect. I will recommend them and plan to return.

Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't buy the glass there but they fixed my glass no charge or appointment. Really appreciated it since I can not see without my glass.

Eye doctor was absolutely errogent. I stated I had been here before and he refused to believe me, saying they keep meticulous records and he refused to test me after I disagreed. He went to his staff and found out I was a former customer. How is this nasty human a doctor of anything. Disgusting treatment of a patient. Negative stars!

Appreciated the time and attention that I received from Allison in the store. She helped me wade through a variety of options. I also appreciate the Lenscrafter Happiness Guarantee. I tried progressives, but they weren't really what I ended up liking and was able to get the lenses replaced as a result.

Amelia was absolutely amazing! It was my first time up to bat for glasses and she took the time to show me a variety of frames and lens options, walking me through their respective benefits. As a result, I finished up buying two pairs, and did so confident in the knowledge that I had landed upon what was right for me. What had begun as a somewhat daunting affair having been turned into a relaxed and informative undertaking courtesy of her professionalism and service. Whatever you are paying this girl, it is not enough!

Very knowledgeable, friendly, accomodating staff in all departments. You always feel listened too and know what your next steps are.

The experience at LenseCrafters was clearly positive. Good staff, great Optometrist, brightly lit displays and clear explanations resonated sharply with me. Do you see what I did there? If we cross off the best and worst reviews to find a fair average, they’d be 5 stars. The black and white winner. Also, I find retinas uglier than feet…. And I’ve seen my retinas now. They can direct bill and confirm coverage quickly.

Allison the dispensing optician did a fantastic job. Very efficient and organized with the frames I looked all over town for. Pricing was the same as the online pricing for the same product with much better customer service

Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable! Fixed my broken glasses in less than five minutes. They looked as though they were brand new when I got them back. I’ll definitely go back!

Context: I got my first ever pair of glasses from LensCrafters this year in February, hence my changed rating.

I just recently got some transitions from Costco for summer, and I find myself reaching for them way more often even in non-sunny weather and at night.
I reached for my Ray Bans Clubmasters I got with LensCrafters and realized, despite being the same prescription my LensCrafters glasses were absolutely horrible to see out of.

The left eye is completely blurry and the right isn’t great either.
I brought this up at the end of July as I finally have context on their glass either being defective or just sub-par…

They said they can do nothing for me as their policy is 90 days, which I found terrible because nobody mentioned that to me.

The woman was quite snippy when stating that it was posted all throughout the store.

It was a completely waste of money as Ray Bans are expensive and their sub-par lenses aren’t cheap either.

I will be voting with my wallet and I suggest everyone else do the same when considering this place as an option, you get helped so much faster anywhere else.
It took me 45 minutes just to see somebody when I was picking up my glasses in February. No acknowledgement, no “I’ll be with you in a moment. ” Nothing

Definitely not returning. Hundreds of dollars gone and I am left with unusable glasses.

Went in for reading glasses and was given super strong processive glasses by mistake. I called in to the branch saying I could not see and I was getting horrible headaches, I was instructed it could take a few weeks for my eyes to adapt. I had to call in again as I couldn't see and the headaches were horrible. I asked them to double check my prescription I was finally informed that they make a mistake and gave me the wrong prescription.

Absolute Best store in Nanaimo to purchase new Frames and Lenses. Excellent selection of Frames and Lenses, and Ultra- Clean business. The Service by the staff is above and beyond! I highly recommend this store for all your Vision needs.

I would give zero star if I could!

I thought I’d try to go into lens crafters one more time, I wasn’t really happy with my service. I think she was just the assistant manager or something coz she clearly doesn’t know anything. She’s the tall girl, her name was Madison or Allison something. I can’t remember but I do remember that she didn’t seem very nice at all, almost had like an attitude problem and didn’t seem very friendly. I will never go back there again, I was told I couldn’t get my glasses fixed and I was denied service? I thought they do repairs, she seems fairly rude and stand off. Worst experience ever! If you are planning on going there, don’t get help from that associate!

Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive. Amelia in particular was amazing! She really helped me understand my eye prescription and explained all my options like: blue light filter, Anti reflective and anti fatigue. She was a wealth on knowledge. Amelia spent time with me and never rushed me. She answered all my questions and was very patient. I felt like she was looking out for what was best for me and didn't pressure me at all. Thank you Amelia!

Not sure what these recent reviews about Allison are talking about? To be honest, from my personal experience she was very helpful and gave her undivided attention of assisting me even when I came in during a very busy time! Also, Jocelyne was the one who helped me the second time around and she was amazing to deal with as well! Definitely will continue to come back here because of these two individuals!

I would give Woodgrove LensCrafters an 11/10 if I could. Jocelyn and her team provide exceptional customer service every time I visit their location. The team there is the epitome of kind and friendly; they take the time to make a true human connection with each and everyone of their customers. If I needed new glasses more than once a year I would be there every week, that’s just how welcoming and warm the team is there.

The selection is great BUT what makes this location stand out and BEST among the rest is their excellent customer service! Hats off to ALLISON and her team for always delivering the best customer experience and these guys know how to take care of their patrons!

Rude girl, Allison? Is her name. Very rude young lady, she shouldn’t be in customer service if she’s acting like there to her customers. Not going back, imagine how she treats her staff? Is she the manager? I didn’t feel comfortable her helping me next time, but the girl Amelia was super lovely to me the next day, and she gave me great customer service! Definitely recommend her

I recently visited this store and was assisted by Allison. I advised her that I was from out of town and had not even purchased my prescription glasses at her store and that my glass frames were bent and would not sit on my face correctly which was problematic for me. Regardless, Allison fixed my bent frames at no charge and I was very grateful for her very courteous and professional service. I am definitely going to purchase my next set of glasses from this store as it is not often you get such nice service.

When purchasing glasses at Lenscrafter in Nanaimo, I highly recommend Amelia. She is an optician, but she is most helpful with finding suitable frames/measurements/suggestions etc.

The staff and quality of LensCrafters' lenses at the Nanaimo branch are impeccable! It's Corporate LensCrafters that get the extremely poor rating due to their archaic credit card machine that has not been fixed in many years. Needless to say it's always an extremely inefficient experience.: (

We went to Lenscrafters to purchase my daughter her first pair of glasses. We picked out an overpriced frame, however the lenses and frames for people under 20yrs old were offered a discount of 50% which made the purchase a little more affordable. Upon checkout the “certified” tech assisted in the checkout process. I had requested that there are to be absolutely no add-ons (such as scratch resistant or anti glare) to the lenses. None at all, I was very clear on that. So when I was shown my receipt she immediately directed me towards the total price was was slightly Over $600, she then directed me to the amazing deal of 50% off. Yes that’s great50% off. BUT SHE DID NOT discuss the break down of cost. She didn’t because she automatically added on an extra $130 for an “enhanced scratch resistant” lens. I was so shocked that she had the nerve to try and sneak in an extra $130 to my purchase. I’m so disappointed. I do not recommend this store at all. Take your business elsewhere people. Don’t get ripped off here.
