I recently bought a bedroom dresser at Leon's. The delivery guys left it in my bedroom still in the box on it's end with drawers facing the wall and walked away. This is a heavy dresser which as a senior there is no way I can put it down on the feet and turn it around so drawers are facing out from wall. I now have wait to get help with it and hope it won't get damaged by sitting on it's end or that the feet won't get damaged while lowering it onto it's feet. I paid $80.00 for it to be delivered and that's what I got for it.
The Worse purchasing experience ever. Waited almost 5 months to get picked items delivered. Late delivery, boxes came with silverfishes. One nightstand with product issue. Store said can’t do in store exchange, has to go through email pictures, review process, that will take additional 2-3weeks for response only. Will never purchase anything again.
Would want nothing but this store to leave our city and never come back. Horrible customer service, rude reps, terrible shopping experience, and horrific refund policy. If you're looking for furniture, I implore you to look to the plenty of other furniture businesses instead of wasting your time and hard earned money here. These people do not deserve it.
I'm shocked at how bad my experience was with this store. Everything about this store is a mess – from the staff's attitude to the way they handle transactions. I'm shocked that they still have customers and it's hard to believe they're still in business with such terrible customer service and overall management. It's a huge disappointment and an experience I never want to repeat.

I here about your name and i advised by my friend to visit, i bought a bed room set when I open the box i found some damage in the drawers and i have told the sales man and send him the pictures with no reply.
Buyer beware these guys are criminals. Today I had my custom sofa bed delivered by some dodgy delivery guys. After they damaged my appartment getting it in they informed me that I didn't pay for set up. I called two days earlier to ensure I did. I told them I wouldn't accept the sofa if it wasn't opened. They reluctantly oprnrd the sofa only to find it was badly ripped and that the feet would'n thread. They told me they would make a note and that I had to accept it. I wasn't born yeasterday and called the store and told them I wouldn't accept, the delifery guys then had to take it with them. This company sold me a sub par piece of trash and then told me they could replace it in 4 months. I will never biuy from nor go in a Leon's furniture ever again this was the worst consumer experience of my like. I shudder to think if someone vulnerable relied on this company for furniture. They would be robbed.
This is a pretty good place to buy furniture. The sale people are pretty good.you can buy anything you want sofas tv or microwave or stove or dishwasher or washing machine.and there prices are pretty good.there warranty is not that great it’s just wast of your money.i bought warranty on my sofas they didn’t even respond they just gave me the run around never ever buy a warranty it’s just waste of money and time.

I am now writing this msg after the big disappointment from Leon's furniture. At first, Denzel the associate was very welcoming and I was overwhelmed by the service. First, I bought a mattress, good quality with good offer. However, he said it would take 8 days to deliver. Now, the manager told me that there is no guarantee that the mattress could be delivered in 8 days but probably in 2-3 weeks. Second, they gave me used bed cover with 2 missing pillow cases. Apart from that, the pillow cases were smaller than the pillow. I gave 1 star cause I am completely not satisfied with the service after I paid.
Best deals. The most welcoming sales associate Yasser Hasan, accomodated my requestes and offerd the best deals availbe in the store, highly recommend.

Horrible experience with Leon’s. Would never give them business again. Bought a washer and dryer, and the salesman said it would be delivered in two days. The delivery company was extremely rude and left my washer and dryer in my living room! Refused to hook it up or move it to the laundry room.
When I called to speak to Yassar, the salesman who promised us delivery and service, he told me it “wasn’t his problem” and that we should have asked to pay extra to have it installed. Extremely rude and didn’t try to resolve our issue whatsoever. Furthermore, the delivery company took my dryer hose and I had to go by a new one.
Great experience shopping at this store with Amit as our Sales Rep. He was really patient, explained the item features in detail and gave us heads up of item lead times which greatly affected our decision to purchase at the store.
Worst experience ever buying a couch from them. Their delivery drivers dumped our stuff and left. The couch and chair came with no pre-drilled holes for assembly and when we contacted them regarding assembly of our chair and sofa they said we declined it. After playing phone tag for weeks being told that they have to phone me back every time we talk to them I am leaving this review stating that EVERYONE should avoid this place and shop somewhere else that will actually help out their customers in need.

Worst customer service you will ever experience. Furnitures are not worth for the money we pay. Dissatisfactory with the product or service. We ordered 3 seater sofa and chair with coverage for our living room, in which the single chair sofa was delivered defective. The delivery person himself told its defective and reported to the store and i dropped mail and message with pictures to the store ID. The store took their sweet time to respond or call me back on replacing it. I kept on calling them and explaining that they gave me a defective product to whom ever attends the call. But everytime I gave them a call, the response would be "My manager is in meeting or she is not available, we will inform her and let you know. This continued for nearly 45 days.after a point the store has a perfect employee, who was so patient enough to listen all that happen and asked me to pay the full chair price again to get a new one/replacement. I have no knowledge that store gives people a defective product, which has coverage as well, yet you need to pay the full price to get it replaced! After so many strains they accepted to send a replacement which they did last week, which again is a defective one.its the same story part2 now. Struggling to get this replaced with no response from the store.
Quality of the furniture - Worst, the woods are so cheap that you can hear the sound when you bang the furniture

I purchased some items a few times at Leon's. No issues until recently I purchased a dinning set, got it delivered and later I noticed the leg of the dinning chair was all scratched and at the bottom of the leg it was broken. I contacted Leon's, told them my mom was at home and when she received the delivery, she was being pushed to sign the paper for confirming the delivery. Of course there was no time for her to unbox and check every single item that's been delivered. So I got the response like this: oh, we don't do return nor exchange, everything in Leon's is final sale, and if you signed the confirmation of delivery that means you accepted the items as is! Wow! First of all, I did not know everything in Leon's is final sale! None of the salesperson mentioned that at all! As a Canadian furniture store, I would assume at least I can get an exchange with legit reason. But with Leon's, once their stuff is out with you, you are done. You just have to take it no matter how terrible the condition is. Second of all, the manager of the store was very rude. He almost made me feel like he was treating me like trash when I asked if I can return or exchange the products that I JUST purchased in Leon's. Now I know everything in Leon's is final sale, at least I can select extremally carefully for what I want to purchase if I still really want to purchase there. But unfortunately, I do not think I want to bear with people has terrible customer service at all. I guess its time for me to say Good-bye to Leon's.

Hey, so this location knew exactly what I was looking for. Got myself the comfiest new couch. When I sleep on it, I forget all about my cheating ex girlfriend who somehow managed to steal my last one when I was travelling for work after I dumped her. Anyways; great staff and prices!
I love Leon's store in Richmond. The store is well organized, and the items are well displayed. I loved the Easter decorations, and the store has a great vibe. The staff is knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. I definitely recommend this store to my family and friends.
We wandered into Leon’s casually looking for a sectional for our boat. Vicky helped us out with measuring and determining the best most comfortable one. She listened to our list of required wants and needs and we were pleasantly pleased to find a floor model that we could take home right away for a great price! Fantastic customer service through the entire process all the way to ware house staff wrapping it and loading it into our vehicle.
I walked into Leon's Furniture Richmond looking for a lawn mower and walked out with a new refrigerator! Sales staff was excellent; very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.
Leon’s in Richmond has been nothing but amazing, helping my family. New to the area, we didn’t have much furniture with us and a young family we weren’t sure what was the best things to buy. When we went into the Richmond store everyone was so kind, we explained our situation and they showed us exactly what we didn’t know we were looking for. And now that we’ve outfitted our home with all products from this store, I couldn’t be more happier to recommend this store to anyone who is unsure of what they want, or just looking for furniture in general. My family and I moved from Skoal, NOVA Scotia and we felt at home right away thanks to Richmond Leon’s. Thanks again for all your help:)
The recliner sofa I bought was great and I was very happy with it. The quality.firmness was good! BUT after a few months, the mechanism broke. Aside from the one year warranty, I got the 'VIP' package and of course, paid extra. They came to repair it after a few months, but unfortunately brought in the wrong part. That was 4 months ago. It's now been almost ONE YEAR since I bought the sofa and they haven't repaired it yet. I've called several times, talked to the agents at least 3 times who promised to call me back because the person in charge was out. Funny thing is when I asked to talk to the manager, they connected me but it was never answered. I called back at least 3 times, still no answer. So I tried using another phone, they picked up after the first ring! I've emailed also and didn't get a reply. Still no answer nor calls, no explanation, nothing!
Leon FINALLY acted on my conplaint. Sad because I would have given a 5 star because of the quality of the product. Unfortunately service should not stop after a sale specially when you get their "VIP' package. The agents give you several excuses and no follow up. They should work on their customer service more!
I am very happy with the service provided by Nick -Sales Manager. He went above and beyond to help us with the product we were looking for. I & my wife were impressed with his exceptional service. All I can say is Leon's got a very happy and return customer because of Nick' excellent service. Purchased my couch almost in the beginning of Dec 2021 and never received the delivery, the salesman in local-store promised us it would be delivered by the end of the same month back then.
No one update me about the delay situation until I reached out and was told that it is going to be delivered by the 22nd of Feb, then it got delay again. No one is following up with my emails nor giving me an update regarding my long overdue purchase from this point.
Can't justify myself to return to this store ever again. Please get your logistic together, such a horrible customer experience.

Worst customer service, can't find any salesperson, been standing in the mattress section for 20 min. People walking by with ipads looking busy but not helping customers. I ended calling the store to get a salesperson to help us, only to be told he's busy for another 15 min
We had a terrible experience with Leon's and their customer service. We ordered our couch and table in June. Everything was delayed, which would be fine except they never followed up - we only got delivery information when I called the store to investigate.
Both the table and couch arrived with pieces broken, and it took literal weeks for Fran and the team to answer my emails and investigate.
Last I heard some of our replacement pieces were on order (one still hasn't been rectified and they ignored my emails about it), but I've since followed up twice via email and recieved no response.
Just avoid this store and save yourself the headache.

Horrible quality and service! The sofa was delivered on Nov. 16th, 2021. There are so many damages on it. I reported the deficiencies to the customer service and requested to return it on that day. Back and forth for one month, they want to charge me 50% for the returning!
The legs of the sofa are cracked, the back of the sofa can’t be installed properly, so many damages on the surface, big noises when operating the recliner, some hardwares can not be installed. This is a brand new sofa I bought from the Leon’s!
Leon’s customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The washer I bought from them broke 2 weeks ago and I called Leon’s to have it fixed with the extended warranty that I paid extra for. I was told I would get a call within the next 3 days confirming the date that the technician will arrive but I didn’t get any notification until the day before he was arriving, which was 7 days after my initial call. He wasn’t able to fix the washer after several hours and didn’t provide any update on next steps.
I called Leon to follow up and the staff, Fran, wasn’t able to give me any updates. They kept telling me to call back but after 3 attempts they still couldn’t tell me anything. I asked to speak with a supervisor on the last try and a different staff told me I need to email them because they’re too busy with Black Friday and nobody would talk to me. I emailed them and was told that the report they need from the insurance company would take up to 72 hours to arrive. Why didn’t they tell me that in the first place? Either way, 72 hours was up and I still haven’t gotten a call or email about the status. So I went directly to the store and was told again by Fran that there’s nothing they can do but she promised to call me on Monday with an update.
Monday comes along and by 3pm I haven’t gotten any phone calls from Fran. I tried calling 18 times, left voicemails, and nobody answers the phone or returns my calls. I go to the store again and Fran tells me she forgot to call because she was “too busy”. She gets the sales manager, who is defensive and unhelpful, and tells me they can’t do anything, and that I need to speak with their GM, Harry.
Harry tells me the next day that yet again, there’s nothing he can do and all he knows is that the technician requested parts to be ordered but doesn’t know when they’ll arrive. He tells me I need to contact the insurance company directly, but of course nobody answers the phone there either. As a last resort, I called the technician, who told me it could take anywhere up to 2 MONTHS for the parts, but he doesn’t know for sure. So at this point I still have no idea when the washer will be fixed or replaced. Nobody at Leon’s bothers to provide updates or support.
This has been beyond frustrating and I will NEVER buy anything from Leon’s again and I will make sure I let every single person I know to avoid at all costs. Would leave zero stars if I could.

I placed an order over 4k last October. The item never came until now. The item was already paid fully from flexiti. Geetha keep saying that there are order delay and it will arrive who knows when: (. The first delivery date i throw my old sofa as i was expecting that it will be deliver and to my shock they never contacted me until i went to the store and advice that the item is delayed again.this is the worst thing that i ever experienced. I will never ever buy anything from this store. It was a joke to buy stuff from this store.
My experience with Richmond Leons was the worst customer service I have ever had. The incorrect sofa (Stanley) was delivered to my home. I called Leons who told me I had ordered the Stanley sofa when I fact I ordered the Merlin. I had to send them the email confirmation I received as proof. Upon receiving my email I was then told that the Stanley and Merlin sofas are the same. I said that the sofa in my living room is clearly not the Merlin sofa which I saw in the store. I was referred to a supervisor for follow-up.
An hour later I phoned back and asked to speak with the supervisor. I spoke with her and she said they delivered the sofa I ordered, the Stanley. I said that I had not ordered this, but had ordered the Merlin. She asked for a photo which I sent. She briefly said sorry, and that it likely was because the colour of the sofa was "stanley grey". She said that she would reschedule the delivery for Thursday for the correct sofa- the Merlin- and I confirmed with her that I would receive the call about the delivery times Wednesday night.
On not receiving the call about the delivery I attempted to call Richmond Leons, but the phone was not answered. I left two messages expressing my frustration. The only bright spot was the lovely man at the Coquitlam Leons who told me that no delivery was scheduled for Thursday and their computer system still showed I was to receive the Stanley sofa- the incorrect item.
I'm not sure how this has become such a nightmare, but it truly is. I will never shop here again and am hoping some day the sofa that is in my living room that I didn't order will be returned. It's disappointing because I had a good experience with other Leons stores in the past.
Yasser "guaranteed" my sofa purchased at full price would be a minimum 15% off in an upcoming promotion within the 60 day price guarantee. Well 65 days later and it wasn't, so I wouldn't trust anything sales associates promise you here. I also give myself 1 star for believing it.

I needed furniture for my new studio apartment and went to Leon's. "Jas" assisted me in buying and helped me figure out the exact things I was looking for. He was very humble and professional and provided great customer service. I will highly recommend him for a good shopping experience.

Bought 90% of my furniture from here, including a dishwasher recently. Everything is smooth and easy and no pressure. Rod Very is always awesome to work with!
Update: This was a few years ago now but once I emailed them as per their reply they sorted it out within a week which I appreciated. Since then I've had exactly the same experience with a coffee table, I've learned to never order anything that isn't in stock. The whole thing was still a pain in the butt but I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

My husband and I purchased our dream appliances and our sales associate Yassar was absolutely amazing. He worked so hard to get us the best price he could with the best warranty. Everything went so smooth and easy all the way up to the amazing delivery guys who got a 36” fridge up a 36” staircase. Yassar thank you so much.
My daughter started working at the Richmond store in August 2019. She loved her job very much, she went to work happy, the customers liked her as well. One day, she came home from work and said they want to promote her for supervisor. Stuart McBride, General Manager, said no problem, however, he needs to speak to Nancy Clark, who is only Customer Care Manager. In the meantime, my daughter noticed a lot of illegitimate things that Nancy was doing at work. For example, she talks behind employee's back and lies to their faces. So, Nancy opposed this supervisor position. Time passed, my daughter wanted to move to a different department that pays more. Here is the catch. At this time, my daughter caught Nancy Clark, Customer Care Manager in a lie (she has proof of this). I'd like to add that this woman, Nancy Clark, does not look you in the eye when you speak and she is always busy when something important needs to be discussed. But, she is able to sit in the office for over 8 hours, so that she can get paid overtime, even though she does nothing except paint her nails and her face. My daughter stated that if she does not get a raise, she will not go to work any longer. Nancy called my daughter a week later and told her to go in to work. My daughter was happy now, she thought maybe there are better circumstances. She went into work Sunday morning. Stuart McBride and Nancy Clark called my daughter into an office room, let me add that my daughter is 18 years old - still a child. Two grown-up adults humiliated and threatened because she knew more things about them than she should have and they got scared. They locked my daughter into the room and she couldn't come out of the room until she has written her resignation letter. My daughter was scared and asked Nancy and Stuart multiple times to let her out of the room so she can call me, but they did not let her leave. After my daughter frighteningly wrote her resignation letter, they walked her out of the building like she is a criminal. Who are these people? Maffia? Sadists? How can the company let this happen? How can the company let these people treat their employees like this? Especially if the employee is a minor? It is a shame that a company like this employs such people in management positions. Especially when the company nor the co-workers know anything about them other than their names. Nancy Clark and Stuart McBride: You should be ashamed of yourself because you take advantage of a defenseless and innocent child! Do this to me or an adult, but not to a child. You are scared of adults. Please do not practice your sadistic inclinations on a child or children. Over the phone, Stuart, you didn't dare to speak to me - the child's legal guardian. This tells me that you are a timid person.

If you buy furniture here I would recommend you unwrap it from it's packaging and inspect it before you bring it home, you might find it's completely different furniture than what you ordered/paid for, and your sales associate might blame you for the screw up. You might also find the manager is very much unavailable to speak with you about the problem.
My husband and I were looking for a couch. We found the one we liked and Vivian helped us with it. She provided us with amazing service and she is very friendly. Looking forward to return to Leon's again for our furniture needs in the future. Thanks so much Vivian!

Bought a range from Leon’s and in just a few months, the oven didn’t work. After repairs didn’t work, they decided to replace the range since I had extended warranty. After repeated promises of delivery, and after complaining to BBB, they finally replaced range after more than 3 months. Very bad after sales service.

Stuart McBride and Nancy Clark called my daughter into an office room, let me add that my daughter is 18 years old - still a child. Two grown-up adults humiliated and threatened because she knew more things about them than she should have and they got scared. They locked my daughter into the room and she couldn't come out of the room until she has written her resignation letter. My daughter was scared and asked Nancy and Stuart multiple times to let her out of the room so she can call me, but they did not let her leave. After my daughter frighteningly wrote her resignation letter, they walked her out of the building like she is a criminal. Who are these people? Maffia? Sadists? How can the company let this happen? How can the company let these people treat their employees like this? Especially if the employee is a minor? It is a shame that a company like this employs such people in management positions. Especially when the company nor the co-workers know anything about them other than their names. Nancy Clark and Stuart McBride: You should be ashamed of yourself because you take advantage of a defenseless and innocent child! Do this to me or an adult, but not to a child. You are scared of adults. Please do not practice your sadistic inclinations on a child or children. Over the phone, Stuart, you didn't dare to speak to me - the child's legal guardian. This tells me that you are a timid person.

They are accounting departments quite a failure. They sent our account to collection while we were on payments.
They were quite rude on the phone when we call them regarding this issue.
It was some miss understanding going on. They could simply explain and try to see problem wasn’t on our side but they sent our account to collection instead of that.
If your going to shop here don’t pay for the delivery the two guys who delivered our couch were supposed to unpack assemble and help to take away the boxes. They ended up dragging the boxes through the snow they walked in and ignored my suggestion to remove their shoes. Then dragged the soaking wet boxes across the hardwood scratching the floors. Walking around with their shoes on. When I asked for them to take their shoes they left without assembling or unpacking. They said it wasn’t their Job to do anything but deliver. Even worse after they left I called to complain, and the “manager” that I spoke to said they would call the drivers to come back and help us to assemble and that Leon’s would call to confirm they did so. Of course they never came back and Leon’s never called us back. Worst delivery experience ever.
Yasser Sadeik H was an absolute joy to deal with. He performed a very professional customer service. He answered every question I had. He was very friendly. He even stayed late because of me. I have never encountered a professional with as much understanding and such a great personality. He made the entire purchase seem so easy.
