I had an haircut with Mariko and I have nothing but good things to say about her. Very personable, professional and polite. She is a good listener and really takes into consideration of what you ask and want. She really took her time with all the steps (wash, cut, style). I highly recommend her and will definitely be back:)

I got my hair cut with Lily, and I absolutely love it! I love my long hair and I’m always worried hairdressers will cut it too short but Lily cut it just the right amount for it to still look long but also so much healthier! I also have curly hair and was really impressed that she knew exactly how to style it. I will definitely be back here!

"L" is a wonderful stylist, and so good with color. I have seen her a few times for various services (undercut, roots, full bleach out, toning, haircut), and she has done a phenomenal job everytime. I can't reccomend highly enough!

New to the area and found this salon. I have been here three times, and each time I am overjoyed when I walk out the door. I have spent years trying to figure out what hairstyle will suit me the best, and I can happily say I have found my hair godmothers. They have guided me through colouring in a way where I was never pressured, and they took my opinion into account to help me find what would be best financially and aesthetically.from Jr to Sr stylists, their talent is unmatched. In addition to all of this, their booking process is quick, easy, and of high customer service quality. If you are looking for a new salon, I would highly recommend this one.

Both senior and junior hairstylists are great doing their work. I haven't been there twice for haircut. Such friendly service and so professional. The price range is bit high but that's okay given the quality of service.

I love this place. Everyone's really friendly and talented. I love how my stylist, Katie always gives me the best advice and also encourages me to try new styles. I'd highly recommend this place.

I have been attending Lift for about 3yrs now, having been lucky to find them. All of the girls here are wonderful, and work very hard to make their clients happy. The environment at this salon is a happy one as well. I have probably had my hair cut, coloured and styled from a Sr stylist to a Jr (who takes instructions from the Sr), and all of my experiences have been positive. Even my teenager refuses to have anybody else cut his hair, other than the girls at this salon. I always feel pampered, cared for, and important. Thank you Lift!

Visited salon on July 30 very disappointed with end result waited for another appt to haircut which I already paid for and have a toner on highlights the stylist put purple Shannon my highlights instead of a toner but end result they just couldn’t accommodate me so I will go elsewhere and pay another $200 plus bad customer service Thx Tania

I got my haircut somewhere else and it was choppy and so awful. I’ve been to lift a long time ago so I called and they happened to have a spot available with Mariko the same day. She fixed my hair and took the time and patience to make it look good again! On top of that, she’s very kind and sweet. I’m sooo glad I found her. Thank you!

I had a haircut at this place,

I was not happy with the haircut but felt pressured to accept it.
The hairstylist insisted the hair would get better after I washed my hair.

After the wash, I had individual strands of hair sticking out as well as hair was completely out of shape. I am not particularly picky about my hair, so this is the first time I have called back a salon and asked for a fix or a refund.
However, the only thing the hairdresser could offer was a minor touch-up.
Additionally, the hairstylist insisted the primary issue was that I had thick hair and requested a wolf cut.
If there are any issues with style conflicting with the hair type, the hairdresser should let the customer know.

If you want to be blamed for a bad haircut, this is the place to go.

Katie and Lily are both amazing stylists and are SO sweet. The whole salon is great about following covid safe procedures too and they welcome you like family!

Booked an appointment with Carianne today. She did an amazing job so definitely will be back. Highly recommend others to give them a try. Solid covid19 protocols too and price competitively.

The stylists here are amazing! They are the only ones I trust to color and cut my hair. Ask for Katie if you want an amazing balayage!

For as long as I can remember Carianne has always been my stylist. (So does my boyfriend). My bf and I will make the trip from Richmond and will continue to go wherever she goes - back from when she was at Holdom to her current place now. I trust her so much that often times I come in and just let her do her thing when it comes to dying and cutting my hair. She's so knowledgable with color. The rest of the team always is happy and greets me to make sure I feel welcome in the salon. When Carianne isn't available, I also like to go to Katie.

Came in here for a balayage colouring, that my bf wanted to surprised me for my birthday gift. Walk in had no clue what to do with my hair. Never dye my hair before, so was very nervous. The hair stylish was very understanding and walk me through the process, how to maintain the colour, and lastly what shade was good for a first timer. My time there was a very relaxing from the start to finished. All the staff at Lift was very outgoing and welcoming. Left the store, loving my new hair look! Would definitely come back here again. And would totally recommend my friends and family here!

The best nail place I’ve ever been to in Vancouver. Literally the best.the technician is so patient and thoughtful about the shape and length of my nails. Everything from A-Z is perfect.definitely would come back and already recommended to friends

Would have been 5 stars if not for the stressful situation. I had a bad cut from one of the stylists and had to come back in later to have it fixed. The young woman who fixed my hair was very kind and stayed late to help me free of charge. Thank you so much for that, you are amazing! My hair looks fantastic now. Great atmosphere, and the staff have wonderful personalities.but I'm not sure I'll be going back.

The entire team at Lift are extremely talented and kind! I’ve been going to Sandra for years for my shellac & gel nails and am very particular but she never disappoints! She is meticulous with my nail shape, colour and design delivering quality work every single time. She is dedicated to her craft and takes pride in her work. I get so many compliments on her nail art and they last me up to 6 weeks! Joyce is also great for nails and very attentive. Carianne is an amazing hairstylist for balayage, cuts and colour and a pleasure to be around. She makes sure my blunt cuts are perfect to a tee and listens to her clients to ensure they are satisfied with the end result. She is quick but precise and her experience and professionalism are evident through her work.the overall atmosphere of the salon is upbeat yet relaxing. The entire team (including the sweetest salon manager Liz) makes you feel welcome and taken care of from start to finish. Bottom line- if you want the best nails and hair of your life, this is where you want to be!

I went in for a color, and was very specific about the color I wanted, and how I wanted to avoid certain shades. Stylist was very confident so I didn’t second guess her. After a couple of washes, my hair turned into the shade I specifically informed her I did not want. Went in for a correction, and the same thing happened after a few washes. Extremely dissatisfied with their technique, service and professionalism. Would not recommend them for coloring hair to anyone.
