Great service! I originally got passport photos elsewhere for my 2 month old and the passport agent rejected them. Fortunately I was able to go next door to Lightwell for new ones and the fellow there put in a great effort to make sure we got perfect photos! Not an easy task when the subject can’t support the weight of their own head! He did a great job. I will be sure to go here for all future passport photos! Thank you!

Cindy was so kind and helpful after my daughter arrived wearing a white top. White is not allowed for passport documents so Cindy was kind enough to loan her sweater to my daughter. Great customer service, and Cindy went above and beyond. The photos were completed quickly and were of great quality.

After failed attempts for Infant passport photos elsewhere, I'm so pleased that Lightwell was seamless and stress-free! They captured the photo in minutes at an affordable price! Highly recommend!

I tried to get a Japanese passport photo made here and the person working at the counter had absolutely no idea how to use Adobe. We waited 1.5 hours total as they clicked and dragged and tried to get the margins and dimensions correct. I personally dont use Adobe or Mac but this person clearly lacked even basic computer skills. Every other click she made opened a 404 bad gateway page. At one point she appeared to be performing the same sequence of adjustments over and over but it wouldn't work, the buttons were grayed out etc. Given 1.5 hours I definitely could have figured it out. It was painful. Eventually we gave up and went to another photo/camera shop 15 mins away. Wasted time and parking money. Kids bored to tears. Frustration.

Hi Adam. Since you don't wish to deal with me by phone I will outline everything here.

1) We didn't suddenly arrive at closing, we called ahead mid afternoon. I spoke with the attendant and specified what type of photo I needed and I was told Lightwell photography could handle it. We were told to arrive by 3: 30 to ensure we were served by closing. We did arrive at 3: 30 but were told to come back for 4: 00 because there was a young lady taking grad photos. We confirmed that it was okay to come back at closing. When we returned at 4: 00 there was another customer in there who was angry with the attendant for whatever reason. When they finally settled, we got in there around 4: 15. We did check with the attendant and made sure she was okay with us proceeding. She said it was okay. At this point everything was all smiles because she was being accommodating and we were grateful. You're falsifying the situation completely by suggesting we barged in there at closing demanding things.

2) We did not spend "an hour verbally abusing" anyone. We spent about 30 minutes waiting in the food court, 30 to 45 minutes getting our photos taken and waiting for the attendant to get the format correct. Everything was fine. Perhaps the last 15 to 20 minutes was definitely me at the counter instructing her on what the format needed to be as per the diagram we provided. No swearing or verbal abuse took place, that is false. I was however very assertive about what the specifications must be since the application gets sent back if they aren't. I borrowed the ruler on the desk and confirmed them and said that the specifications were incorrect and told her she had to modify them. When I called back today to speak to you I also did not "verbally abuse" anyone, I asked her when you would be in and when I could speak to you so that I could complain. I was very clear about why I was calling. She was evasive and so I did repeat my questions a few times then gave up and said I would call back tomorrow. Again no swearing or verbal abuse took place.

If a customer wants the correct photo taken and is unhappy with the work, and is forced to correct/direct the employee who lacks skill and expertise, and asks to complain to the owner, and all this amounts to "abuse" in your opinion then you need to steel your nerves a little more as a business operator. My complaint is actually directed towards you more so than the attendant. You as a business owner putting someone with no training on the front desk is poor practice. Train your workers better. Set them up for success. Or conduct a more thorough hiring process.

3) Your suggestion that I should use my passport to disappear is not very professional. I didn't slander your business arbitrarily, I outlined my customer experience matter of factly with specific examples. This is for the benefit of future customers so they know what kind of experience previous customers have had. Your response however is very emotional and childish, you've taken it personally and lied to strengthen your position. You lack integrity.

Adam is super nice and patient! We failed the passport photos the first time and he retaken the photos for our newborn baby without charge. Highly recommend!

I needed a photo taken for a visa application. Bendy at Lightwell Photography was professional, friendly, and efficient. He also provided helpful advice about uploading the photo to the application form. A quick and very positive 5-10 min experience. Will come again.

Got our baby passport photos done and it was a breeze. The gentleman taking the photos is a total pro and it took less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend them for all your passport photo and photo needs!

Very convenient passport photo studio. I think it’s reliable if you need passport photos early morning and in a rush. It opens on time to match up with the passport photo needs at the Canada Passport office right next to it. I needed photo before 10 am and I checked at every photo studio nearby and all did not open even though their open time stated 9 am on map. This was the only studio open and saved my a€£ that morning. Not too great quality pic but doable. Expensive photos but hey, atleast they are reliable and will be open in the morning when you need pics urgently.

This review is for passport photos, not weddings/engagements. Bad experience. For passports, it really depends who you get. We unfortunately were met by someone who wasn't trained properly. It wasn't necessarily his fault, but I wish he'd been provided better training. We ended up waiting over 45 minutes for what should take 5 minutes (as the owner states). This made us late for the Service Canada appointment next door.

I wouldn't gamble with this place until the owner can commit to training the employees more thoroughly.

For the owner/mamager: As a client I shouldn't have to provide training after waiting for 20+ minutes. Not training employees really puts them in a difficult position.

My proof citizenship application was rejected because I missed a couple documents so a returned a week later for new photos and the staff was very understanding helped me with new photos! Amazing experience. I reccomend!

Can't believe I paid $29 for a passport photo. They wanted to charge and extra $12 for a digital version! Drab and terrible clerk too.
