My dog almost died! I took my little Yorkie dog in for teeth cleaning and ended up at the vet’s with a very large bill, over 1400.00 that Rajish of Lil Hobo refuses to pay! I picked her up after an hour and 15 minutes. She was panting and wheezing and her tongue was hanging out. I took her straight to the vet and he took her temperature and said it was over 106! Said she was having convulsions, she had a heatstroke. The vet said if I hadn’t of brought her in, she might have died! The vet treated her well, gave her oxygen, cooled her down, the blood tests came out ok and after 24 hours of IV fluids, there is no sign of organ failure! A huge, huge relief! I am beyond thrilled that she is Ok now. Very, very unhappy about paying for a less than great dental cleaning and a very large vet bill! Do not take your dog there! They have no air conditioning to keep the dogs cool, the vet said this contributed to the heatstroke, plus the fact that she so small! Animal cruelty! How could a professional not know the dog was in distress? Maybe Rajish has done this to other dogs! We cannot endanger other pets! He proclaimed this job was not up to his standards, because the dog was having trouble breathing! In the space of an hour and 15 minutes, she had heatstroke! Poor work, poor ethics!

It’s my dog’s firs time here, I am very satisfied and happy with my dog’s grooming experience. I highly recommend this place. Cheryl did a very good job with my dog, even removed the tartar in my dog’s teeth! Now my dog keeps on smiling, see the photos! Thank you, Cheryl! More blessings on you girl!

No one answers calls. Even the ones posted on their door. Had an appointment drove all the way there - no one was there.

Cheryl did an amazing job with my very nervous 95lb dog. We came in for a nail trim / inspection but she ended up doing a lot of grooming I didn't know needed to be done as well as teaching me some tips and tricks to keep the dog happy and healthy. Thank you!

First time taking the puppy here (not my dog so I totally have NO experience at all about this dog) to Cheryl. I did such a great job! I didn't know what to do with the puppy but Cheryl understood what I want and gave the dog such nice hair cut. The poodle is still a puppy so Cheryl knows how to cut the fur properly without damaging too much of the puppy hair.
She is really enthusiastic with animal and have nice personality as well. The price is cheaper compared to other store and the there is always appointment available so it is good for busy people as well:) I will take the puppy here again before returning her to my friend for the last hair cut.

Cheryl went out of her way to do extra, educate me on how to best care for my puppy and she took the extra time and care to give my puppy his best hair cut ever. No missed pieces, all the details were executed with precision and passion. She cares about each of her customers like I uave never experienced.

Cheryl took such great care of my dog Cleo when she went in for her grooming. We didn’t have a schedule but was able to bring her in and even got Cleo back after a short time! Cleo doesn’t usually do well at the groomers but Cheryl made her look so clean and pretty. Will definitely come back for Cleo’s next grooming appointment.

Please don't take your dog here. A lot of the good reviews are simply people who live nearby who don't know any better. PLEASE take your pet to Dharma Dog instead!

Every time I take my dog here, he always leaves with bleeding fingernails. The groomer who is the owner is incredibly aggressive, does not hold my senior dog properly nor treat it with patience and care. My dog also whines and tries to back away like crazy whenever we approach the main door. I feel guilty for not knowing any better before. The place is also incredibly dirty with dogs being caged up. You can consistently hear whines and many fellow pet owners have had to deal with Kennel Cough after their dogs stayed there.

Take your dog to Dharma Dog On Fraser instead. They are more experienced, less traditional, less aggressive and my dog now pulls to go INSIDE to get his nails cut. They are incredibly gentle, passionate and use clean tools and proper technique. Trust me, you won't regret going to Dharma Dog.

Cheryl is wonderful, so kind and so much cared. She are a Lovely woman, specialy so Friendly to your cats or dogs. She has lots of experience and also has good knowledge to help your pets. I think she works for her hobbie and love not for the money that's why she charged less than other places. I really enjoying and loving her personality

Cheryl groomed our dog on short notice and she did one of the BEST JOBS i've seen and as compared to pet smart where I used to go to. We have a Pom and she did such a good job on getting his fur trimmed down to the level we wanted to get ready for summer. She also did his nails which I actually thought was done way better than the times i've brought him to other pet grooming services. Cheryl was really kind, and good with our dog and I definitely will be coming back here.

Cheryl was great, knowledgeable, kind and very thorough. I have never shaved my double coated mixed pug/Tibetan spaniel before, normally just a furmitator and deep brush, but she suggested it for the summer and he actually looks like a pug now. Every other place was booked up and she took us in the next day. Very happy with this service, will be going back.

Went for first time today and met Cheryl the owner, she was nice and I described what my pup needed in terms of haircut and be delicate about cutting his nail. When I picked him up his haircut is so neat so beautifully done and exactly how I wanted, his nails was cut nicely even and paws are smooth. He is fresh smells really good. Thank you so much Cheryl.

Came in for nails, walked out more knowledgeable then ever. Think of this as more then a business. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful unlike many money grabbing grooming business. She is very gentle with the animals and ensures good quality work. I learnt lots of stuff about my dog that I didn’t even know. I also learnt how to care and clean my own dog which I can confidently do. However I will keep getting my dogs nails done here. Gotta leave it to the professionals. Overall very quick and professional business that knows a lot about your furry animal. She genuinely loves dogs!

Best service! I called last minute because my dog has gotten stolen and when I got him back he was horribly matted and lots of knots. When I called she said she can take him in and finished within an hour and a half! Cheryl was super kind and took such good care of my little guy! Would recommend. She’s a life saver!

I love this place, this is the only groomer who gives Dilly Bar, my 2.5 yr of Doberman, the gentle and careful grooming that she needs. Nails, and ears, the full treatment.

I bring my senior blind and deaf dog. He does't get anxious or anything. This is great as he cant even go to vets without being anxious! Very happy with cheryl and only place i would go for grooming for my dog. She is very nice and helpful. My dog lookd great after going. She puts a lot of attention into the grooming.

Well, Cheryl made an appointment for my cat today on Thursday July 1st. I show up the store is locked. I called a few times and knocked, then I see her walk right by me. The owner who made my appointment is walking by, she walks by a 2nd time and tells me she is not taking appointments and she is closed. So, I drove here with my cat and she is closed.okay. I said I was her 4pm appointment and no reply. Maybe it was fate, I don't know, but my poor cat in the car just looking at me like "I told you I didn't want to go anywhere mum! " 3 hours out of our day and it is extremely hot too.

We brought out toy poodle to Cheryl for a nail trim for the first time and had a wonderful experience! As my family is a first time dog owner, she gave us lots of professional advice about toy poodles and the grooming we can do regularly at home for our pup. Overall a really good experience. Will definitely recommend Cheryl for grooming!

Best dog grooming experience I've had. Cheryl is super knowledgable and quite meticulous and extremely friendly. Not only did she trim his nails and trim lots of unwanted fur but she got rid of his itch as well. One happy dog!

I expected to get one dog groomed and LET ME TELL YOU I left with so much more! Not only did she - out of the goodness of her heart - groom my other dog too (who didn't have an appointment but came with us), but she did so in the most loving and informative way. I swear I know so much more about my dogs now than I have in 10+ years of going to groomers and vets across Canada. She explained everything she was doing and took extra care in telling me why it was important and how I can maintain some of their grooming at home. At the end, I felt I had a new friend (seriously, Cheryl is one of the kindest people I've ever met). The kicker? She completely takes care of my dog and it's been 6 years and it's only been a great experience as she took care of his fleas and she let us know about certain issues with the dog saved us a ton of money and hassle in the future with veterinarians

Been taking my toy poodle here for a number of years. The owner has a good understanding of the various dogs temperament and does an amazing job with my dog. She handles her with confidence and care and my dog loves her. She does an especially good job on her feet and her ears and my dog always comes home looking and smelling great. I highly recommend her services.

We have had our cat done by this business for the past several years. The lady Cheryl does an excellent job on cats. Is very knowledgeable about them and kind to them. She also does not over charge grooming a cat is difficult. We are always pleased with her work.

I brought my 2 dogs here for the first time today. One of them has cuts in her face and both of my babies had bleeding nails from the the trim. I know my dogs can be a little difficult with nail trimming, but their nails were literally bleeding when I got them and this has never happened with other good dog grooming services out there that I brought them to, regularly. I hate to give 1 star for thriving businesses, but I don't want to see other dog parents have this experience.

I went to Cheryl with my dog last year (sorry for the late review!) as I needed my dog’s nails trimmed. As my dog is a rescue and very nervous in new environments, Cheryl arranged a time so I could attend the nail trim, thus we were in and out quickly. Cheryl was super friendly. Cutting a dog’s nails is tricky business, but Cheryl was very competent and prompt. She even neatened my pup’s face scruff and provided a much-appreciated anal gland expression. The price she quoted for all this was a great bargain, in my opinion. I’ll be booking another appointment with her very soon!

My dog is usually pretty good at grooming and doesn’t make a fuss but when I came back to pick her up she looked traumatized and very distressed. I take her grooming during heavy shedding season and when during this time I would have to wash her for at least an hour. Cheryl gave us an approximate time of 45 minutes to finish deshedding, teeth cleaning and an anal gland release. Obviously, it was poorly done. My dog came back smelling subpar and shedding was not lessened.

Cheryl the groomer has always been so hospitable and professional. She helped me with both my dogs when I needed them to be groomed. My first dog was a very difficult and most groomers would turn him down, so I had to take him in to the veterinarian and have him sedated. However ever since I took him to Cheryl's, he successfully came back groomed and even calm. I would at times watch her work away, and she would treat every dog with such compassion and care. I trust her with my dog anyday, and I would board my dog with her, whenever I was out of town (pre-Covid). Definitely give her a call, because she would take clients the day of! Cheryl is a gem of a human, I can't emphasize how much she does for every client.
