Dr. Varasteh is professional, attentive and kind but her receptionist is rude, impolite and unprofessional. She never calls you back for a missing appointement or cancelled one by dr. Varasteh and when you call to follow up, she replies with low respect.

I had a great experience with Dr. Varasteh. She’s our family doctor. She’s very detailed oriented and really spends the time with the patient. Also, she’s very good with her diagnosis and management. Very professional.

The absolute worst clinic I have ever been to. Sadly had to make this my family doctor due to convenience and lack of family doctors accepting patients. I will never again give my time and energy to this place. Horrible communication, organization and care. The reception is 99% never there to pick up the phone, when they do they immediately yell into the phone "HOLD" and put you on hold. So much phone tag, they rarely respond to emails and are horrible to get a hold of.
Conversations feel rushed and they don't actually listen to what I am saying on the phone, miscommunication from one receptionist to another. One time I called to cancel an appointment and they just said "okay" and were about to hang up when I asked them if they wanted any details in order to identify the appointment to actually cancel it.
If you do manage to get an appointment, the doctor is late, and you feel absolutely rushed to squeeze everything within 5 minutes. Frankly I get more stressed during interactions with this clinic than for my actual health concern. None of this is conducive to the care you need to feel when you have your health in professional hands. The fact that most people here have a similar experience to me is not surprising. The fact that this place is still functioning is a miracle. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Attempting to receive a follow up from this clinic is impossible. The receptionist is unorganized and extremely rude. I had several appointments where I was straightforwardly lied to by the reception at the clinic. I called to confirm my appointment with the doctor yet I was told by the reception that the Dr. Varasteh wasn’t in the office. Shortly after I went to the clinic in person and saw that my appointment was mismanaged and that she was actually in that day and the receptionist had lied to me. Incredibly unprofessional and I do not recommend coming here as you will have your time wasted.

I have been a patient to Dr. Varasteh for 3 years now. She is knowledgeable and overall a great doctor. However, when you book an appointment, there is absolutely no guarantee that you will talk to her on the day of. Most importantly, receptionists are non responsive and very rude.

Terrible wait times. Been waiting for a phone call for the past week. Always running behind. She doesn’t care for her patients and their well being.

Dr. Varasteh is very responsible. The way she follows up with her patients is fantastic.overall, I am very satisfied.

She is never on time. You will be wait more than an hour or even more for booked appointments. I wish she respects other people's time.

Dr. Varasteh-Badri was extremely rude, did not listen, talked over me, and then hung up on me during our virtual appointment. She refused to refill my medications that I am out of (I now need to ask a pharmacy for emergency refills) because she did not have the time. I am appalled by her behaviour and attitude. She should not be a doctor or in any field that deals with the public.

Before Covid-19, it wasn't on time.always I stayed there more than 1 hours. And recently the secretary wasn't responsible

Worst family doctor ever. The receptionist are never at their desk very rude and unwelcoming to the patients, when you call they don't pick up you'll have to call 4 or 5 times for them to answer. Also Dr. Varasteh never makes eye contact with you when you talk to her she's always staring at her computer and, is always uses a mic to take notes and she does it when you're trying to talk to her a explain your problems. A few days ago my mother had a video call with her so she could get refills for her medications, but 5 min into the call her phone rings and she hangs up the call with my mother and goes offline and doesn't come back. I tried to call to make another appointment for my mother they said the next appointment they give her is in 4 days my mother needs her medication she hasn't taken them in weeks. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable in any practice.

Appointment missed 4 times by the clinic. No apologies and they rudely didn't share my life lab reports by my request. Trusted Doctor for 5 years, but they should accept patients within their capacity.

Dr. Varasteh is hands down the best. She is caring, intelligent and experienced. Her assessments are very thorough. She has been my doctor for a couple years now and I only have good things to say about her.

Dr. Varasteh is the WORST and RUDEST doctor I've ever seen. She's so so Moody, not caring and always forget about everything. She said she's going to refer me to the specialist for some problems but it would takes 6 months; So I visit her after 8 months and when I asked her about it, she started SCREAMING (because she was in a bad mood) and said she cancel it because I don't appreciate her! And if she decide to do it again it would takes one and half extra years!
The reason was that I complained why she cancelled my appointments too many times in last 5 minutes while I was on my way for almost 2 hours to get there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE and I wish I could provide ZERO star for her.

The WORST medical clinic in the world. I DO NOT recommend going to this clinic to anyone. They do not care about you, your time and your problems at all. They change appointments for no reason all the time. Absolute horrible. What a shame.

Dr. Varasteh is the most unprofessional MD I’ve ever seen. Dealing with her is a complete waste of time. There hasn't been a time that she has been on time. Every time we've been there with a previously booked appointment, we had to wait for at least 1.5 HOURS to see her! She has absolutely no discipline and whenever you complain to her she keeps telling that I'm open to feedbacks and and nonsense excuses, and yet nothing gets improved. Additionally her attitude and interpersonal skills are not professional neither. Avoid this this place!

If I could provide less than a one star I would. Absolute horrible, unprofessional front-line admin. They muck with your appointment time and pitt one admin against the other when it comes to mix-ups in your appointment date/time or re-schedule acting like they didn't know or accusing you of not leaving a message etc. It results in a lot of your personal time and frustration yet this is your health matters! There are a lot of negative reviews here for this Clinic and we all cannot be wrong! The doctors in this clinic DO NOT deserve referrals or our business.

This is the worst medical clinic in Bc I highly recommend not going here. Many many times they change my appointment and they don’t care about the time at all! It’s happened for me a lot that I waited for a long time. Today I was waiting there for more than 2hours and sitting in a waiting room and they still didn’t do anything and they said that you still need to wait! I got mad because of wasting time and Doctor Varasteh came Out from her room and said I won’t see you anymore and you should leave the office! Otherwise I will call 911! Oh My God! I Am SICK and I NEED to see a doctor. And Doctor Says LEAVE MY OFFICE! IS IT THE WAY To Treating PATIENT? They are Horrible, Horrible, terrible terrible! The worse medical clinic EVER!

Dr Varaste has been our family doctor for past two years. She is always compassionate and caring. I recommend her to my friends and family.

Terrible timing. Unprofessional and bad customer service. I didn’t even pass the front desk myself and left the clinic before meeting the Doctor (Good for me not wasting my time more than that). You can find out the manner of a Doctor even before getting in.

I wish I had read all negative reviews before going there. I wasn’t walk in patient. I had an appointment. First I was told to wait 30 min. After 45 mins they said 10 more mins. I complained and told them you are able to call patients if you are behind the schedule. But I was told we cannot call every patient and you should have called us to find out about the accuracy of your appointment. What? !?
I left the clinic and then read the reviews. So much similarity.
Please improve your business.

Hi Dr. Varasteh I'm not sure if you read the reviews but I'm pretty sure your future patients will. How do you feel like representing an awful, careless without time management living and owning a business in Vancouver? You don't have enough knowledge and scared of referring your patients to other doctors.what a shame! I spent hours of my time in that horrible place to get in. I will contact the college of physicians to suspend your license.

Not paying attention to customer time

But I waited 45 minutes, I said many times this is my time, but she just said sorry!
After 45 minutes I went and the doctor did not see me
I'll never come back

Dr. Varasteh is a great person. My wife found an issue during her pregnancy. Dr. Varasteh helped us to cope with this issue very well. She could properly guide us in that stressful period of time. She spends a lots of time to talk with patients and find their problems. However this can bother the other patients who are in waiting room.

Dr. Varasteh is not only a great doctor but a wonderful person. She is precise, knowledgeable, and very caring.

Dr. Varasteh is a very caring and compassionate doctor. She is thorough with her assessments and she spends time talking with patients and their families. This makes her run behind schedule sometimes but her heart is in the right place.
I couldn’t be happier with this doctor.

The clinic is also very clean and fully equipped and staff are friendly. I highly recommend Dr Varasteh.
