Kind of a bland store, with good hard liquor & wine selections and moderate craft beer selection for its size. Prices are slightly higher than BCLDB and sale items aren't advertised- you need to go in to check them out.

Recently changed ownership (used to be liquor barn). New owners jacked the prices up by 20-30% across the board. For example: Steamworks Mix-pack was ~$22, it's now ~$28, both pretax and the gov price is ~$20.

I am no longer a regular customer, and purposefully go out of my way to avoid going here now. I guess if you can afford to pay for the huge markup, go ahead.

New ownership is driving this place into the ground. Original staff is kind, but this place needs to be open later than 8.

Loved this place. Had to move to a different area, but will definitely miss the humor of the staff

Good selection a some item are expensive, but overall not bad. Good to have them in the neighborhood!

The name sets up the overall experience quite well - utterly perfunctory. Yes, you can buy liquor here. While the stark space and under-curated selection leaves much to be desired - and the fridge temperatures are as lukewarm as the ambience - the blasé service and droll humour if you encounter the most regular of clerks upon exiting is on-point. DGAF done right

Great under-appreciated liquor store!
The selection is great, they have a large cold storage area, and the prices are quite similar to BCLS.

Staff accused us of shoplifting from this location although I've always paid for everything I've EVER got there.feel discriminated and sometimes unwanted there.not the best BC liquor tho it serves the purpose

The beer is not cold. But they are charging you for cold beer. They need to get the fridges fixed or something. Total rip off. Never going back. NOPE

Possibly the most despressing, bleak and hopeless retail experience in Vancouver. It's how I imagine state-run grocery stores in the former-USSR felt in the 1970s. Unfortunately this is the liquor store nearest to my home, but the poor selection, high prices (compared to anywhere within 10 miles), and incredibly sad atmosphere all mean I would rather crawl on all-fours to another store. It really takes a special effort to make something this joyless; seriously, a lick of paint, new lighting and some basic shopfitting updates would transform this tragic, soul-sucking black hole. The staff don't help improve the experience; smug, and like you've asked them to do you a favour by doing the job for which they're paid.
