We had a great visit to the winery on our anniversary. It was our first stop of the day and Amanda was awesome. She was great in telling us about their wines and the history of Little Engine Wines. The wines were the best I’ve tried all season.

Great service, enjoyed the detail and awesome learning experience during the tasting. Wine was really good too, but staff's service stood in the forefront of this rating

Great tasting experience, were lots of addons to help make better selections for our cellar. Attention to detail was impressive. Well done and we will be back.

Our absolutely favourite winery in the Okanagan (and Canada). Beautiful, complex and delicious wines. Educated and friendly staff and love being able to order some small bites. I personally think it’s one of the most beautiful settings in the Okanagan. Also, love the branding and story behind Little Engine.

Great view and nice spot to do wine tastings. Be forewarned the prices are much higher than most wineries. I’m not sure why. But the service was good and well maintained property.

Beautiful place delicious wine. Disappointed though that they do not wave your tasting fee. I would have bought more wine if it wasn’t for that. We went to multiple wineries that day and walked out with purchasing up to 6 bottles of wine and our tasting fee waved. It's not even about the money. We are a 6 figure household. Nice place nice wine will likely not be coming back. Especially when other wineries offer a sit down tasting in beautiful locations on their property and wave your tasting fee. Also I might add that you don't explain your wines at all. Every place we went to either has a written description of their wine or a person explaining the different notes and the process of creating that wine. Plus you can't say you don't wave your tasting fee because you are a higher quality wine. We have been to some of the most expensive wineries here and in southern France and if you buy wine the fee is waved.

We walked up to Little Engine's tasting room where we were greeted by owner Stephen French while he was painting some wood for a new addition to the winery. He walked us in and introduced us to Anthony who was our guide and mentor for the next hour.
There is no pretentiousness here. Just really passionate people making, pouring and promoting really amazing wine.

You can’t beat the tasting experience. The patio is cozy, and sommelier is extremely knowledgeable. The wines are also amazing. The Pinot noir and Chardonnays are world class. If you do any wine tastings in Naramata, you must do this one.

Little Engine is as tasty as it is aesthetically pleasing. We were on the sunny patio on November 1st for my girlfriend's birthday and it was such a delight - fabulous ambiance, all Covid protocols in place and I think nearly all of us ended up taking home a bottle. Thank you for the awesome experience!

Wasn't overly impressed. We heard such great things about this place, but left disappointed. We understand wineries charging a tasting feel for large groups, but can't understand why they do for individuals or couples. During these crazy times, especially after summer and into fall, it's mainly locals visiting and therefore would be nice if locals could receive some "local love, " as their business if often what carries a lot of businesses through the winter. We received 5 tasters which were very small and the cost is $20/person - less than 1oz each, same glass for every different wine, therefore mixing wines. We feel that's extortion. It is nice that if you purchase a bottle the fee is waived. However, the bottles have to be minimum $50 which is ridiculous. We weren't huge fans of the wine and the overall experience wasn't great (especially for $20 each) and felt obligated to buy 2 bottles as a way of justifying some sort of value out of our $20/person. Additionally, the one bottle we somewhat liked fell under the $50 minimum and had to "convince" the sales person to still waive the tasting fee. As someone who has spent the last 30 years in the Okanagan, I remember a time when it was cheaper to go to wineries to buy wine but it's not anymore. Trying to see the value in going all the way to wineries if you can pay the same price at a liquor store just down the road.
