Today I tried this salad rolls and ice tea.

Both are so tasty and not expensive.

Definitely a must to try!

Honestly I am rarely if ever in Abbotsford and my experience with Vietnamese or Asian eating establishments in the area is limited. My friends and I were returning from Kelowna and crazing pho and Little Saigon showed up on Google. We decided to give it a try.

First impressions walking through the door was the restaurant looks modern, spacious and clean. Something else that caught my attention was no one working here this particular night was Vietnamese including the kitchen staff. I’m not saying this is an issue but it was a first time for me. As mentioned seating is comfortable with lots of tables the room is open and feels spacious.

Warning: tea is not complimentary here (also a first for me) We were charged $1.5 per person so be warned. The waitress did not mention this to us.

The menu is fairly extensive. You can get the usual pho, vermicelli bowls, rice plates and spring rolls. Other items on the menu were titled vaguely and unless you asked you would not know what they were. And I don’t mean the items having Vietnamese names. Who knows what’s Adam’s special or Jason’s? There’s no description.

So I ordered one of these vague items just to try. #31 pork patties - this ended up being nem (grilled ground pork patties) served with rice and the usual pickled carrots/daikon, lettuce, cucumber. It was ok, the flavour or spices seemed lacking compared to most other restaurants. I can’t say that it was worth the $17 menu price.

My friend ordered one of the combos (A-C) and that seemed more like a deal and more reasonably priced in the $20-21 range for the amount of food that you get. I would perhaps go for one of those to get better bang for your buck.

To conclude, I don’t usually like to use this word but the experience didn’t feel very “authentic” and the food was just ok for what I had. But perhaps this is just because there are so many fantastic options in Vancouver and it cannot be compared.

Ray’s Tips:
Pros: lots of free parking, restaurant is clean.
Cons: no free tea - be warned so that you’re not surprised with your bill.

Little Saigon is another treasure that we unlocked in Abbotsford, BC. This little restaurant is very cozy, it is clean and just very pleasant. There was just one server and she was very efficient and friendly. I was feeling a bit under the weather that day and I was craving for a nice warm soup that would feed my soul, and their bowl of Pho did not disappoint. The Beef Pho was very flavourful and it did meet the craving for some soul food. My husband ordered the BANH MI and it was super good as well, it was like an explosion of flavor every bite. This little place is highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

Showed up late. Avneet was so very friendly and told me that I didn’t need to rush. The Pho with brisket was absolutely delicious. The place is super nice and clean. For Vietnamese this is the modern option! Thank you Avneet!

Love this service at little Saigon and the food is always so fresh and tasty. My family and I come here at least once or twice a week! The banh mi bread is so delicious - soft, fresh and tasty. Definitely a repeat customer

Tonight I stopped by to order a bani mi sandwich, the prawn salad roll and the spring roll, all three were great. The salad roll was large, fresh and not dried out. The peanut sauce was great also. The spring roll were hot and very flavorful. I bought their hot chili oil as it is the best (yes I have tried others) and Mike let me know that they now bake the bread for the bani mi sandwiches. So looking forward to trying them!

We are gluten intolerant and the staff were very informative regarding our choices. The food was the best Vietnamese we have had in the last 6 years. We will definitely be back!

I had some spring rolls and salad rolls and they were the best i’ve ever had! Great service!

Absolutely horrible customer service didn’t put the lid on my soup spilt all over my take out bag and said they would not replace it after I called.

Vietnamese restaurant but owned by Indian. Service is okay but food suck. Whoever said it "authentic" is a liar or never eats real Vietnamese food. Too much cinnamon and sugar in the pho broth, the noodles weren't cooked right. They failed to cook pho, and guess what, they also failed to cook chicken curry rice. I was too disappointed to take photos of the food. The Thai milk tea was okay but a bit too sweet.

I wanted to try Vietnamese food from long time. So me and my friends visited here and the food was delicious especially the vermicelli bowls. Service was very fast and very friendly and kind. Highly recommend

Good food, very very affordable prices and nice staff. The servers are very kind and friendly. The food is always warm and the flavors are amazing.would recommend

The food was okay but I think the price doesn’t justify the quality of the food. A basic salad roll will cost you $12 and if you want add ons, that’s another $2. The Banh mi is good but I think they use a different pickled carrots which reduces the savoury taste. I tried the Tom’s Special for $22 before too but It felt like they only added more noodles.

Place is clean and service is okay but if you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
The grilled beef that I ordered is just like a basic pan fried beef with a teriyaki sauce. With the price of the item too, I was expecting something a little bit better than this
