I can't give enough praise to Dr. Ban and his team for the 15+ years my kids have been seeing him. After some negative experiences with a previous paediatric dentist, both started off with very high anxiety around dental visits and Dr. Ban was so patient and supported us through many de-sensitizing visits until sitting through all the procedures was no problem, including several tooth extractions for my son when about 4 of his baby teeth refused to come out. Thank you to Dr. Ban and your fabulous team for all the excellent dental care!

The place is very clean and staff are welcoming & friendly.

Brought our daughter to Little Smiles for her first ever dental check. All the staff and doctor who saw our daughter were wonderful and very patient with her. It was overall a very positive first dental appointment experience.

The person cleaning my teeth was very very nice and was gentle and improved on what my last dentist didnt.

My son had his teeth checking twice a year, and last checking was July 29. The dentist checked his teeth and told us everything looks fine even though I told her my son had some teeth ache at left side. I thought maybe kids are too sensitive so didn’t pay much attention, but on Aug 28 my son was crying when I brush his teeth then I found out the cavity on the left top side. I just can’t believe how is this possible, the dentist didn’t do her job, We are Very disappointed.

Excellent dental care clinic in town. Our daughter was first time here and she had great experiences. My mom and my husband was impressed by their kindness. Dr Ban & his staff are amazing! Our daughter has been seeing him since she was a toddler (she’s in intermediate grades now!). She had trauma to her mouth from a playground accident and Dr Ban has been meticulously monitoring her healing etc. Highly recommend!

Dr Ban and his dental team has been great for my daughters. One time we needed an urgent dental work and they booked us on the same day to help with the urgent care. This shows their care and professionalism. Been happy customer for 7 years now.

It was my three year old's first visit to the dentist in two years. Even though we had prepped for our visit by watching the episode of Daniel The Tiger where he visits the dentist and played dentist with his toys he still felt scared when we arrived. Nicole, the hygienist and Dr. Soussou were experts at making him feel welcome, distracted, and calm. They didn't rush him and gave him time to feel comfortable before starting the cleaning. In the end he received a full cleaning and check up with minimal destress. Thank you very much!

My 3yr old just had an appointment with Dr. Suh. Wow, so very happy with her work. So very different from other Pediatric Dentists we had visited. Super helpful. So very thankful for her work with my son. Very highly recommended.

My 4 year old had her first dental appointment last week and first cavities filled yesterday. She loves the 'wonderful teeth team' (her words) at Little Smiles. They are amazing with children & parents and managed to make something that could have been painful and scary feel fun and safe! My daughter can't wait to go back.

We recently switched to Little Smiles for our three kids. The staff is great everything is explained in detail and the kids have left happy from every visit.

Dr. Suh was so amazing and patient with my 3.5 year old boy. Her professionalism is impeccable. She is personable and gives good advice. My son felt very comfortable and at ease during the check up. I am so please with the care and service at Little Smiles. Both of my kids had amazing experiences. They staff all introduce themselves, show the kids everything they are doing and make the visit as seamless as possible. My 5 year old announced, "I want to go back to the dentist tomorrow! ".

Dr. Ban is one of the best pediatric dental specialists I've seen. My son has seen Dr. Ban about seven years since he was three years old. For those years, he is always child-friendly and patient with young patients. Also, the staff are helpful and friendly. I am satisfied with his treatment of my son.

Little Smile Dental far exceeded my expectations. I am relieved that I have found a clinic that will be able to help my young son rebuild trust in going to the dentist after having some unpleasant experiences. His recent visit was still a challenge for him but all the staff handled the situation with understanding and patience. Little smiles dental is a very great place for kids and our son loves the nurses and dentists at this office. He likes going.

We have been going here for our daughter oral care since day 1. Very consistent. We even went though a change of dentists here and our transition was smooth.

My 10 year old had a filling done there today by Dr. Sun and her assistant Nicole who both were quite friendly. I really appreciated it that the doctor explained every single step she was going to take to my daughter. This not only helped calming her down but also made her feel respected as a person. I also like the fact that Dr. Sun remembers all the little details about previous visits even from months before and cares about her little patients' well-being.

Edited: I have edited my post. I want to thank the office for taking care of our concerns, and clarifying a few things regarding the procedures that were in place. They have rectified all of our concerns, and made it more clear for parents in the future regarding those procedures.

They have advise us what we can do for our child regarding sedation, and where we can seek the best help for him within our budget. Dental is expensive so we truly appreciate this.

Lastly, I know that they didn’t have to refund our money, but I’m thankful they did.

Thank you for turning a negative experience to one that we as parents can learn from.

Brought my kid in today so that he could get his cavity taken care of. This place is awful and I would not recommend it. Maybe their dental work is better than their approach in dealing with kids, which they claim is their specialty.

These people asked my wife to give my son the sedative, nitrous oxide.
Not a problem at all, if they had explained to her that if she failed to give him it we would have to pay the fee for it. In this way, we can respectfully decline, so that they can do the job that we are paying to them to do. Instead they put the onus on us like we are professional practitioners.

My wife failed to give it to my son, cause he is a kid that hates medicine like most kids. Now we have loss a day of work, and paid for these people to do absolutely nothing like we are rich or something.

Here is a simple advice. Next time tell people the consequences if you asked people to do your job for you, and maybe they wont be so upset.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ban enough! We have had such positive experiences with him and Little Smiles that we tell everyone we know to go to him! My daughter, Emma, had had some bad experiences with other places last year and when we switched to Dr. Ban, we have only had encouraging, productive, safe and wonderful appointments. He listens to her, goes at her pace and gets the job done! Astronomically good!

Little Smiles was wonderful with my daughter. They made her feel very comfortable and at ease and made going to the dentist a very happy experience for us. Would definitely recommend!

Dr. Jong Ban is a wonderful, caring paediatric dentist. Both of our children are relaxed by his calming and soothing professional chair side manner. In fact, the entire staff from office assistants to hygienists are excellent in providing state of the art dental care but also creating a supportive environment that minimizes the anxiety children feel when attending for dental care. We highly recommend Little Smiles Dental Centre for children’s dental care.

My son has been going to see Dr. Ban since he was 3 he is now 12 Dr. Ban is good with kids my son will not see any other dentist at all

Dr Bahn and his team are some of the most dedicated, hardworking and nicest staff our family has had the pleasure of working with. Our daughter is on the autism spectrum and the level of appropriate care she receives is top notch. Dr Bahn works with the family, constantly engaging and educating us. The rest of his team is also amazing - always helpful, professional and pleasant. I highly recommend this team if you are looking for a new dentist for your little ones.

Money minded and not trying to go little extra mile for to provide services in this pandemic time

If you are looking for a dental office for you child (ren), this is it. The best paediatric dental office in my neighbourhood. Receptionists are friendly and helpful and hygienists are doing a great job and also good with kids. Dr. Ban is awesome. He seemed to care about my concerns and gave me all the answers. We are very pleased with our dentist and would recommend any parents to take their kids to little smiles dental office.

I absolutely love how little smiles staff interact with children with special needs. They are understanding, friendly and patient. I felt very relaxed during the visitation with my kid. I really appreciate the help from Ched, Rupi and Dr. Ban. Thank you so much.

My two kids have been going to this dental office since they were 3 years and 6 months old. They like Dr. Ban and are not scared to see the dentist! Dr. Ban can always find a way to talk a child into a procedure with a smile, gives great professional advice to parents about kids' dental hygiene and treatment needed. Thanks to his care, our children have no cavities (they're 8 and 5 now) and love seeing their dentist every 6 months.

The dentist & staff were very patient with my toddler - what a relief. We had a much better experience here compared to our previous non-pediatric dentist. Looking forward to taking both of my children here for their future dentistry needs.

This dentist office is lovely for children and they make the experience quick and as enjoyable as possible. They even made me coffee while my kids were getting their teeth cleaned. I appreciate how Dr. Ban takes the time to explains the xrays, etc to me. Also they are always on schedule. My kids actually like going to the dentist.

Visited Dr. Ban for the first time today. Very professional and went out of his way to calm my child during her first time at the dentist. Spent a good amount of time making sure that we knew how to ensure proper dental hygiene. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My son is now 7.5 years old and says he is “pretty good at the dentist! ” He was born with underdeveloped tooth enamel as well as having high dental anxiety.
