Not very professional. While the doctor himself is thorough, he brings in random students (twice) that he calls future doctors and they attend the consulting session/appointment with him. However these are probably just university/college students and not even medical students are they are clueless in anything related to medicine or my simple condition that I was being seen for. Further, if they are a teaching clinic, they must indicate so to let the patients know, but they do not have signage or anything saying such. My appointment was nothing major or with overly sensitive information, so I didn't care about it. But after the fact I thought actually that's very unprofessional of them.

Its okay to not provide walk-ins anymore, but it is not okay if two receptionists sitting in the office and not picking up any phone call.

My wife and I have been visiting the Live Well Clinic for over 20 years. Always have had the best professional responses from the doctors there. The receptionists are very friendly and the wait times are not long when an appointment time is arranged. Won't go anywhere else!

Doctors are amazing and good. These receptions are incompetent and unprofessional. Always double booking and when they make the mistake they don’t acknowledge it and make up for it. It’s ridiculous. Please get better receptionists

Extremely rude and disrespectful receptionist that hangs up the phone on people before they're able to finish their first sentence as to the reason they are calling.

Very poor customer service from a poorly educated rude receptionist!
Today, December 2,2021, my wife had an appointment with Dr Hassan, we arrived 5 minutes before the appointment, the receptionist asked my wife to wait outside! After a 30 minute waiting, we decided to leave.
After we received a phone call from the receptionist to tell us that we can go back to see the doctor, I replied that it is not professional to let a client wait 30 minutes outside without any excuse, while I am speaking and expressing myself, she cut the line!
After more than a year that I and my family are clients at this clinic, we have decided to go elsewhere, I have no problem with Dr Hassan.hope you solve this problem asap, otherwise you will lose more customers.

Just a quick review for their COVID antigen testing. Easy booking appointment, fast registration, on time, quick process, all questions answered, clean facility, efficient paperwork and files sent to email. All at a cheaper price than the competition. Worthy of 5 stars. Wish this wasn't necessary but I'm happy with their service in Richmond.

Dr. Hassan ignored my pain for months, claiming I had simply pulled a muscle. He claimed that an X-Ray was all that was needed to diagnose my issue (which is untrue based on the opinions of the doctors that I talked with after seeing him). I eventually had to BEG for a CAT scan to diagnose what I was certain was the issue, after MONTHS of being in incredible pain. Before I could even make the appointment I had to visit the ER because of this issue, where they found it to be severe enough to refer me to a surgeon to finally find a solution to my pain.

Absolutely disgusted and disappointed with his care, and hope that if a woman ever comes to him with an issue like this or something even worse that he doesn’t dismiss their pain like he did with me.

Hi there! This message is for the doctors. I have been coming in there for quite a while, I think all the doctors are great! You do however need to have a talk with your receptionists! They represent your business and yourselves. They are doing a horrible job and someone needs to talk to them about their behavior it is very bad. Thank you

Reception staff is highly unprofessional and Rude. I called at 3: 25 in the afternoon and requested for an appointment.
I was given a date and I requested for an earlier date if possible explaining the whole situation. Receptionist put me on the hold and I was left on hold for 25 mins even after I explained the whole situation and in the end phone just disconnected.
I redialed and Receptionist picked it up straight away and offered me even later date then the earlier offered date and call again disconnected. Now All she had to do was tell me that there is no earlier date available and I would have taken the original date offered but trolling people for the sake of it is not right.
This seems to be a pattern by the reception staff as lot of the reviews point to this 'Put you on the hold and disconnection routine'.

Dr. Hassan feels like he doesn't care, and doesn't give good medical advice. In fact he prescribed me the wrong medicine.

Due to Covid it is all done by phone.
First tried the clinic out 2 months ago and they were always responsive in a timely matter.

My family and I have been very grateful to have Dr. Hassan as our new family doctor. We missed a spot we reserved from a clinic in Vancouver, but it was a blessing in disguise as we found Dr. Hassan. He is very down-to-earth and hands-on to his patients. He even calls on weekends using his own personal phone to check on the condition of his patients. Excellent doctor with a big heart!

I do not have msp and I started as a walk-in, and thankfully the payment is affordable for me. Dr. Dhingra has been very attentive and considerate. I really appreciate all the help he's provided through a lot of what I've been going through as I have not had good experiences from other physicians.

However the receptionist service will give you the run around and unfortunately I do not have any other option but to call in. Calling in is difficult as they immediately put you on hold. After some time they answer to ask how they can help, then put you on hold again before taking any info and then end the call. Then you have to repeat this process. It took me close to 2 hours just to get through to someone. It's very difficult and has not changed since I started coming to this clinic.

Went in needing stitches on my thumb and they turned me away saying"it takes too long"
Went to cook road medical after and saw a doctor right away and got stitched up in no time.

Amazing clinic, I booked appointment and only waited about 15mins. The doctor was super professional. I will definitely be back when I need to be!

We called today around 12 asking if it was okay for us to drop in. The person on the phone told us yes and that it would be better for us to come at 1pm. We arrive around 12: 50 pm and was told by the person at the front desk that the doctor wasn’t seeing anymore drop ins today and that she didn’t know who we talked to.

Doctors might be great but we wouldn’t know. All in all a great waste of time.

Dr. Dhingra has been my doctor the past 2 years and has helped me through rough times. I would recommend Dr. Dhingra to anyone who is seeking medical attention. He is a great doctor. I would rate him a 5/5

However, the front staff (receptionist) was extremely rude and always seem to be in a rush. When I was on the phone booking my appointment the lady tried to hang up on me twice before I got to ask my final question. She also cut me off before I got to ask.

RUDE - RUDE - RUDE
I booked my son for the 2: 50pm appointment. Got there a few minutes early but still had to wait for around 45 mins until the doctor came in to see us.

Turned out it was a wart on his toe. He explained we had 2 options: get the wart pad from any of the pharmacy, or get him treated right there, which would require using liquid nitrogen to freeze it, and would be quite painful. As it’s for my son, I proceeded to ask him some more detailed questions to understand how effective each option would be, and how much discomfort he’d experience (I’ve never known of warts before, and it was getting worse for him). In the middle of all the questions, I said “sorry for the questions, I just wanted to make sure I understand it right, so. ”

He cut me off by asking: “what is there to not understand? ” so I said well it’s for him, not me so I want to know what he’d have to go through (he’s a 5yo boy, understandably scared when the doctor said it’s gonna be painful)

- he wasnt even trying to examine it up close, I held up my son’s feet, and he was 2 feet away.
- My son was scared, yet no word of comfort towards him. Not even “it’s okay”.

All of this happened in 5 mins. I was left stunned by his attitude, and he added: “do you need more time to decide? Because I kinda need an answer now. I have other patients.

We were made to wait for 45 mins, and he couldnt spend 5 mins with us, because he was running late? Is any of this has to do with us?

The only reason I was asking questions was because he was not bothered to explain it to us properly.

Of all my life I have never come across another doctor with this kind of attitude. Needless to say I told him we’d be getting the medicine and get out of there asap.

We’ve recently moved to Canada since 2018, so I’m not sure how the system works here, walk-in clinics vs GP vs emergency, etc, Are doctors at walk-in clinics supposed to be rude like this? STAY AWAY FROM THIS CENTER

My friend saw Dr. Dhingra to get a refill for their anti-depressant medication, before going on vacation. A week later, my friend took the entire pill bottle in an attempt to commit suicide. My friend was hospitalized and stopped taking the medication. Since there are severe side effects to suddenly stop the medication and because my friend was in a foreign country, I called the clinic to speak with Dr. Dhingra and ask if my friend should continue to take the medication or not. The receptionist asked me why I wanted to talk with Dr. Dhingra and explained the circumstance to her. The receptionist then proceeded to laugh, and told me why would my "adult" friend take so many pills at once. I was so shocked and shaken by the insensitivity and disrespect of the receptionist that it brought me to tears. Receptionists are the face of a clinic and they should be trained on how to deal with sensitive medical scenarios such as mental health. Regardless, any decent human should know that it is inappropriate to laugh at someone who is suffering.

I don’t know how this reflects on the clinic as a whole but the receptionists are the first point of contact for patients and they should have a level of empathy and professionalism. If my friend who suffers from severe depression and anxiety would have called the clinic instead and been laughed at, it would have been devastating to them and could have possibly ended very badly for a person who already feels worthless.

Wait times vary at every walk-in clinic all over town. I’ve waited 5 min to much longer. This is best one I have found out of all of them. Seen both male doctors who are really nice & not rushed & had a good experience. Dairy Queen next door helps too.
08 August 2019 23:56
I was refused care because I hadn’t been there before and had been in a motor vehicle accident. I didn’t even know a clinic could do that. On top of that, the hours are listed wrong.

I usually like this place. Doctors are nice, doesn't seem to feel rushed usually. Front desk. Sometimes wish there was better energy but I get we are all human and have our days.
Altho I don't understand when you make an appointment, and you arrive even ten minutes early and your still waiting over! An hour and end up being the last person in? Feels like they let everyone in who didn't have an appointment first. Ohwell. Iguess today it just a super busy day. Other times id get in at least within 15 from my appointment time.

Dr. Dhingra is a great doctor! I've been seeing him since before he opened up this location. I never feel rushed; he takes time to answer my questions & he is very friendly & knowledgable. His front staff are very nice ladies too. You are acknowledged as soon as entering; even if they are on a phone call & they are never grumpy like most Moa's; always smiling & cheery.
To those of you that are complaining about wait times; yes, nobody likes waiting! But the Dr has no control as to how long a patient takes & what their issue is & how long one needs to be examined for. The front desk staff has no control over this either! Not to mention that if people show up late for their appointments too; how is that reception's fault? It isn't! When people come late, it messes up the whole days schedule; it is beyond ANYONES control. Dr. Dhingra is a great Dr & thoroughly examines his patients; you should be happy that he even takes time & doesn't rush his patients. If you have no patience; then go to a walk in clinic where you are treated as a number; not a human & rushed. It sucks hearing complaints about wait times when you are dealing with a good, knowledgeable Dr & not to mention great front staff; which is a rarity in most dr's offices.

I come to this clinic every week cuz I live close by. I made appointment at 3 10pm, but just got into room now 3 55pm. And still waiting for doctor. Its the receptionists problem, I can see. The girl on Saturday which is I come every weeks, manages super well, even though she is alone and there is long line up. But these two ladies today, on Thursday, just chatting a lot on the desk. So when these two ladies work, expect to wait long even though u made an appointment. But Dr. Dhingra is very good and does everything he can to diagnose your symptoms.

This is by far the most helpful receiptionists we’ve ever encountered. Not sure about the doctors here but the receptionists are SO helpful, they seriously answer all your questions.

My first time here. I made appointment the day before as I was really sick and wasn't sure how long the wait would be for walk ins. I only waited maybe 10 mins past my appointment time. Staff were very warm and friendly and so was the doctor. If you need a doctors note there is a 10$ in case you didnt know. I didnt but that's ok. Nice they have pharmacy next door and only waited less then 5 mins for it to be filled. I'm definitely coming back here. Great job!

I am writing this as I’m going on 23 minutes in this tiny room waiting for the doctor. Not to mention the 20 minutes I spent in the front room when they decided to open early and have 3 walk ins already lined up. The doctor rolls in about 9: 37 which must be normal because last time I was her it was the same thing.
Classic case of greed. Greedy greedy! Get as many people in as we can, give mediocre service to patients and collect then cheque.
The reception isn’t very happy either, rude on the phone, rolls her eyes. Not professional.
I personally liked the doctor I saw when I was in last year but this place is very poorly run.
