Live Yoga Studio

I did an on line Yin yoga class October 17th with Tobey & it was fantastic. It was a gentle class concentrating on breathing to help relax the body & stretch out!

Live Yoga has one of the best facilities for a yoga studio in all of Greater Vancouver! Lovely spot by the ocean in White Rock! The owner is so generous, and truly follows a lifestyle of "Living" in yoga! Would recommend to everyone!

I took prenatal classes and restorative class. I was so amazed how knowledgeable my yoga instructors were! I felt supported and led through the practice safely with personal attention! Will be retuning soon! Highly recommend!

I went to Live Yoga's on White Rock Pier today! Such an amazing experience and the instructor (was the owner) did such a great job leading the class of about 100 people. Although I don't live here, I travel here several times throughout the year and will plan drop in classes moving forward!

I'm really enjoying my classes at Live. The instructors have been so incredibly insightful, patient, kind and knowledgeable. I feel so much better being a part of this community. Don't hesitate to reach out and try them. All levels very welcomed and encouraged. A class for every body and level of yoga pracrice.

Courtenay was very professional, friendly, enthusiastic, and committed. Often teachers just stay at the head of the class, and do not come by and check if a participant is getting a particular asana right. Courtenay came by in several occasions to assist me!

I’m a first time mom and I registered for mom & baby yoga as a way to get out of the house and maybe meet some other moms. My expectations have been far exceeded by Tobey and this class! It is such a warm and inviting environment and I’ve met some amazing moms and been able to grow some valuable friendships! If you’re a mom, I would HIGHLY recommend. It is mostly baby chaos and a bit of yoga and it is just so great to feel not alone in the craziness of motherhood. Thanks Tobey and thank you Live Yoga for providing a place to make such wonderful connections with other moms while having fun with our babies!

Sean's classes are the amongst the best I have had the opportunity to attend. His classes are always true to the description, well planned, presented with technical expertise, considerate of the attendees and sometimes presented with humour. If I can I always try to incorporate some of Sean's classes into my weekly schedule.

In each class, there was thorough, professional yet friendly instruction while at the same time the instructor was able to attend to the specific needs of students both in the studio and online. Sean keeps a very close eye on what everyone in class and online are doing, making sure no-one is doing anything to hurt themselves. To top things off, he makes learning yoga fun!

The studio is great and this has been super helpful to my body and mind.

I have been studing Yoga (Iyengar) for over 20 years. I highly recommend Live Yoga studio. I drive 47km to go to this studio. Every instuctor is amazing and well educated in all postures (asanas). I always feel great and balanced after every class here.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Prenatal Yoga Partner Workshop with Tobey! It was so informative, she was very efficient and concise regarding the information she shared. It was a great way to connect on a deep level with your partner and to give us an idea as to what to expect for the birth of our first baby. Would highly recommend.

A Warm and friendly yoga studio. High quality teachers who do a variety of levels of classes. Offers on line in studio and live stream classes.so many options with variety of price points. I am a member and it's so worth it.

Sean's instructions were so precise i could do the poses with my eyes closed. I also doubted myself that i would be capable or strong enough to do some of the more challenging poses so it was a huge confidence builder to be able to be guided in such a way that i was successful. Thank you Sean! Also loved the om chant, that set the mood for me and it was just enough.

Love live yoga! I actually do mat Pilates at Live. It is a very inclusive, friendly accepting community for all people and all ages. Highly recommend joining this community. Katarina is funny, knowledgeable and a great energy. I have been going for almost ten years I think. I am sure the yoga classes are great also. Sean, the owner, has amazing long term staff which says a lot about a business!
