While their pastries and baked goods are delicious, actually sitting in the restaurant was disappointing. Food was overpriced for what you get. The pasta lacked any complexity in the sauce. Poached eggs were good, but 20 bucks for 2 eggs, toast and 1/3 of an asparagus and one tiny branch of broccoli? We also waited well over an hour to get our food. It's very hip and trendy packed with stylish folks, so I figured it had to be good. The food is okay but definitely not cheap and service is very slow. I'll pick another spot for brunch next time.

Randomly passed by this place when I was in Commercial Drive in June. The exterior and baked goods were very inviting so my friend and I decided to dine in for brunch.

The restaurant was busy and there was a bit of a wait. Luckily, we only needed to wait for about 20mins and our table was ready. We were seated outside which was lovely.

We ordered their featured pasta at that time and it was the rigatoni pasta. Partnered it with their chef’s salad and both were delicious combo! Their mocha’s very rich and good, probably one of my favourite from this city. As for the dessert, we went for this peach goodies and mmm it was the perfect one to end our brunch.

Overall, we enjoyed our dine in experience and Livia’s definitely a recommendable one!

Best.focaccia.ever. Fagioli was very good, especially with an egg added. Airy, friendly, very good lattes.

A little over a year later, I still think about the lasagna. The sauce was to die for! A true local gem

Amazing experience at Livia! First time trying the spot, food is excellent, nothing disappointed- the Sour Dough is a must try, take a loaf home!

Fell in love with this place! Food is incredible. Authentic Italian. Coffee, croissants, bread, fresh pasta - all amazing! I wish I lived here cause I’d be her everyday! The owner was really lovely too. Highly recommend you visit, they have happy hour and dinner on Friday Saturday that is always a new menu. The lasagna was to die for!

I ordered iced latte and black berry danish.
Taste was alright. Water has something in it so I didn't drink it. Server never asked me if everything was alright. And it took 15min to get a bill!

Little Livia at the LIVIA. Coffee is not bad, food and pastry are great! Always packed! Love the interior and exterior, a really beautiful cafe.

Ordered coffee at the window. Somehow takes 15 minutes to get two Americanos. Then get in the car with the coffee, the lid wasn’t on or these lids just don’t fit, so I spilt it all in the car and on myself. I know y’all wanna be sustainable, but get some real cups and lids before someone burns them self or someone else. I’m carrying two coffee in hand so you cannot honestly expect me to inspect the lids, I only have two hands. And the coffee itself, soooo watered down, they dunno how to make a regular Americano, absolutely no good. Overrated place just cause of location and vibe, with the flimsiest lids in the business.

We made a reservation a week ago for three. Got a small table and had asked the server for a bigger table. We were told that it was fully booked except sitting at the bar. Later, we saw a group of three and another group of two had a table for four. Food were good but very disappointed with the table arrangement. It was pretty uncomfortable to sit at such tiny table!

If you put three persons at tiny table, you should have let us know when we booked it.

The pasta was delicious and the London fog:) so good. Not too sweet, the bergamot and floral notes were very present.

Although highly recommended we were quite disappointed. Moca, macchiato and loaf of bread $19 and change. Ordered from window with one person in front of us. Waited 20minutes for the coffee standing on the sidewalk. Was served an espresso with foam and a moca. Experience was sub par. Decor cute.

Outstanding breakfast. Incredibly high quality ingredients. Every aspect of the meal, down to the detail, is delicious. I cannot recommend this quaint lovely spot enough.

I went here for dinner and it was to die for. I haven't had food that exquisite for sometime. It is exactly how I would picture fine Italian food to be. I find sometimes with higher end restaurants the food isn't worth the hype however Livia takes the cake. I think they get most of their ingredients from a farm because it tasted so fresh. They change their menu every week if I'm not mistaken. It really was a beautiful experience and our waitress was kind, attentive but not at all pushy and let us all enjoy are experience. Just beautiful.

One of the liveliest places in Vancouver with a rotating list of seasonal dishes and always welcoming staff. Come here for the bread:)

May 15: first visit, It was raining day and they don't have table available but we got some take out, highly recommend to come this one!

We finally got a table before we heading back to Toronto. The menu is simple and easy, if you don't know how to choose pick the classic one. So good.
We had the "LIVIA Classico" sooo good.
The sourdough just perfect as we wanted it.

We also had Cheese Danish and Rhubarb Danish to go.
Very satisfied!

This (not-so-little) gem of a place is literally what my dreams are made of. From the on-point dreamy aesthetic, the outstanding service, utterly delicious food, and the most to-die-for baked goods and the city's best sourdough - this place is not to be missed. If you happen to be there on a weekend, be sure to grab yourself a loaf of the buckwheat oat bread - nutty, chewy and just darn delicious. Keep doing what you’re doing, Livia. I just love you to bits!

Good vibe, good coffee, good service but if you arrive between the end of brunch and beginning of dinner (2-5pm) you’ll only have appetizer options to eat and they’re VERY pricey. It’s a very nice place to hang with friends but if you stop having stuff the staff seems quite anxious to get rid of you. Would very much like to try brunch there someday, rather than that from what I’ve seen, it’s just a nice place. There’s too many cafes in town nowadays, they gotta be much better if they want to stand out of the competition.
