LOCAL Pizza

The staff doesn’t treat you well. Really really rude. No customer service. I tried calling many times but they don’t answer and when i go there personally to order at 8: 35. A rude girl told me they are closed and can’t serve me. But the store closes at 9 still they she refused.

Worst customer service ever. Girl working on the store really don’t know how to take customers or even talk to them. Soo rude.

When the ownre was not there the one of the staff was just sitting on passenger’s seat and talking to someone and when people are calling them to take order they are just ignoring

Picture this - you missed your ferry to Vancouver and its you and your partner hanging out on the tarmac getting hungry. You discover that yes - you can indeed leave the ferry terminal to go for a stroll.
Then it hits you, lets order pizza. I call up the first shop that comes up, its Local Pizza. The call drops, they call back: "So you called? " yes. I'll take a half pepperoni - half hawaiienne.one thing tho.do you deliver to the ferry? They say which side, car or pedestrian? I say come find me outside the pedestrian area under the cherry blossoms. They say - I'll call back to see if I can find a driver. They find a driver. Pizza on the way. They said 45-50 minutes - pizza got there in 35. Dude rolls up, nice as can be.may be the owner? Manager? Friendliest delivery driver? Anyways - pizza was good.people we spoke to went above and beyond for the call.the call of pizza.thanks

I am so thrilled to finally have an amazing pizza place right downtown. Local pizza is absolutely fantastic. A great location, and prequalification. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

They always have fresh pizza and they will make things to order and from what I hear they might bring in new additions to the menu by popular request.like samosa

Very kind people, lovely conversations and friendly service. One extra large pizza was $22 and fed both my partner and I. Smells and looks delicious, tons of toppings. The dough is soft but crunchy, thick but not too heavy… very close to the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. 10/10 recommend if you’re a pizza lover

Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had. The dough was chewy and crunchy, fresh toppings (and lots of them)! The owner was personable and friendly and even gave us some free samples. I would highly recommend getting food here! So affordable and so good

Buddy with the hot pink shirt was absolutely lovely. Very friendly and engaging, communicative, and open to new ideas and additions. Good guy, fun to talk with. Very epic.

Visited first time this place and they didn’t disappoint me. I had shahi paneer pizza and it was so good. I would definitely try different pizza next time. I would highly recommend this pizza.

Unreal pizza spot in Nanaimo. The staff were super welcoming, made some recommendations and were overall awesome! The Tandori Chicken pizza slaps (aka, it’s very good).

They also have outlets for charging laptops which is apparently a luxury in Port place/harewood

Cashier was very helpful, informed me I could do a half and half medium pizza of two different kinds. Both me and my girl were very pleased.

Absolutely perfect pizza! I've had several kinds over my stay in Nanaimo and every bite is perfect every single time. Their crust is my idea of perfection, too - thin, fluffy, and crispy with a buttery finish

Place is the best here every week! Butter chicken and BBQ are my favs! So fast too! Staff rule!

The staff are great, helpful, welcoming and friendly. The pizza slices are excellent. Lots of variety, great flavour, large slices at a really good price.
Tried the new baked penne.you need to go back to the drawing board. Alfredo sauce shouldn't have mayonaise

Pizza slices are large, price is good. The pizza is very floppy and soggy. Had to use a, fork and knife lol

Just ordered a Tandoori Chicken pizza last Thursday. Very impressed with the flavours and the crust wasn't too thick and doughy. Will try to order when working in town next time. Recommended

Just bought a slice… tasted good but exactly like fresh slice? I’m confused! What happened to all the fresh slices in town? It seems they disappeared over night? And replaced with this Local Pizza… is it just a rebranding thing? Oh well, still tastes good
