Super helpful and amazing response time! After my purchase I had some questions about the ammo I could use, I had previously looked online throuh the manual, however I still needed some minor calrification and they were really helpful.

Lockhart Tactical is killing it. The Raven is an amazing concept with its modularity and multiple calibre options. The fit and finish is very good quality. They are very responsive to service and warranty questions. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.

Got the goodies yesterday! Looks amazing. The buffer tube is a bit tight to go in it’s probably because of the cerakote. I had to put it on a vice and a big wrench to really turn it.

In search of a course that was out of my wheelhouse, I signed up for the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) as well as the Restricted Firearms Course (CRFSC) and completed these in one weekend with Sam.

I cannot stress how “out of my wheelhouse” this course was. Not only did I find firearms to be frightfully intimidating, I found the culture and political atmosphere around them to be less than appealing.

As an instructor, Sam was incredibly knowledgeable about the seriousness with which one must approach firearms use. He distinguished responsible use from recklessness. And he managed a diverse group of students with humour, peppering a few admittedly forgivable political gibes throughout.

The information for each firearm type was presented over the course of a day and then a multiple choice test was given followed by a practical test where one demonstrates that they have properly learned to handle a firearm. Having completed this process, I feel confident that I could use a firearm if the need arose. In addition, I am now of the firm belief that everyone should take these two courses, both to gain a clear understanding of (and confidence with) the safety precautions necessary to even be in the presence of firearms and also in order to make decisions about their use.

And I will add, having learned in greater detail how the unsafe use of these weapons can have such dire and irreparable consequences, I am grateful to live somewhere that puts limits on their use.

Unfortunately had to get a refund due to uncertain/extended processing times. Ordered a mount back in March and still no time frame as to when the order will be complete. Sam was kind enough to process the refund no questions though and was apologetic.

Really wanna support these guys, but we can't even get a callback. Customer support is non-existent. My brother ordered a backpack and batwings over a month ago, spent 600 bucks in total.was told batwings are backordered, and that was basically the last comms we've had. Trying to get a status update, see if we can ship at least the pack? No luck, left messages, sent text messages, sent email, no answer. Brothers going to be gone for training for a month soon here, so woulda been great to have this figured before then. Not sure if this is a norm for these guys, since it seems they have alot of positive reviews, really wish this hadn't turned into such a PITA

I phoned to double check that the item in question was physically in stock (as that’s not always the case with Lockhart since his business model more closely resembles drop shipping).
Samuel confirmed he possessed the item. I ordered. I called again because I wanted to be 100% sure item was in stock. He said it was.

Long story short: got issued a refund because guess what, item was not in inventory. I missed out on the opportunity to buy the item I wanted elsewhere in the meantime. Everything is sold out.

I’m not frustrated that this is a drop shipping business and that items are often not in stock at the time of purchase. (Just means way longer wait times). I am really disappointed that I was lied to. This did cost me and I am frustrated, and I would have appreciated being dealt with in a more honest and transparent way. Other than this, the owner was usually quick to reply which is great. I didn’t have to fight for a refund, which I also appreciate. So, not all bad. I wouldn’t order through Lockhart unless he literally texted me a picture of the items I wanted prior to order, to confirm he actually was in possession of it. Hope that’s helpful.

Sam Lockhart is a very switched on instructor, with a safety orientated course, delivered in a stress free manner. His instruction was clear emphasizing safety first when handling firearms. But keeping a pace of instruction that was easy to follow and learn. I would highly recommend his course to anyone, especially people new to the shooting sports.

Amazing teacher! Very knowledgeable and patient with the newly uneducated crowd. I definitely feel more confident being around firearms because of this safety training. I'd highly recommend this course and business for anyone.

Ps. What a great online merchandise website they have as well. I'm definitely picking up some gear.

Looks like people are home. Nobody answers the phone. Or texts. Says they are open but nothing. Super dissapointed.

As for them stating they are working every day. They should have someone on the phone if they are saying to book reservations.

If I could give zero stars I would. I tried to cancel an order. I called a million times and they never answered. I left a voicemail and multiple emails trying to get a hold of them. They proceed to ignore my requests and ship me the items that I no longer needed. They shipped the items about after about 2 months and about a month after I told them I wanted to cancel my order. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I order a optic on February. Was quote back-order for 1 to 2 month. And it is July now. I wrote a few emails to Samuel, I will paste the email here:

Me: I would like to ask about my order LTB1D4U1E72. It has been 5 months. Do you have the product yet? If not, I would like to cancel the order and ask for a refund.

Samuel: i will ask supplier where this is!

Me: I would like to cancel my order LTB1D4U1E72. It has been too long.

Samuel: They got back to us.they said its scheduled to arrive from the manufacturer is mid to late August.

Me: Nope, just cancel it please.

Samuel: no problem. We normally have a 10% order cancellation fee. I will drop it to 5% as a courtesy.

Me: Ok

Samuel: Waiting for supplier to confirm with me if they can even cancel it as its almost here

Me: Please cancel the order. Your supplier doesn't have the product. It will take another month before the manufacturer to even start manufacturing it.

I ordered a couple parts about 11 weeks ago and had been quoted 6-8 weeks for them to come in. I’ve emailed, phoned and Facebook messaged trying to follow up because I’ve had a change of address since. No response to anything from Lockhart tactical. I understand Covid is probably slowing things down but as a business you should respond to your buyers, especially considering I’ve already been charged for the parts. Brutal customer service and right now I’m out about $1000.00 and can’t even touch base with them. I’m sure anyone who values their money would feel the same way.

Challenging situation as I choose to support veteran owned businesses as much as possible. I placed an order on 07 August. Confirmed it would be 2-3 weeks for delivery to them before shipping to me. I paid via EFT. On Sep 3rd I received an email saying 3 out of 4 items arrived, and would I like to wait for the 4th or ship separately. I responded within 30 minutes asking for separately. Since that email, I've had no contact whatsoever after having sent multiple emails, text messages and phone messages.

I even tried Facebook Messenger today and got no response "in a few minutes" as advertised. So, I guess I will have to find another recourse.

I am a small business owner and understand the challenges of dealing with COVID. I do not understand how you don't have someone respond to multiple emails after 3 weeks.

Placed an order on an item that was said to be in stock. Sam emailed me pretty quick and told me there was a mistake and refunded my money. But if I wanted to wait they could back order it for me asap. I couldn't find the item in stock anywhere else so I waited. Got it within 2.5 weeks! Sam even offered to hand deliver it since I was on the island as well

Waited 5 months for a rifle no communication at first, it got better towards end when I finally just got my money back. There are lots of shops that actually stock what you want I would try them instead.

Ordered something in January, said in stock, turned out it was back ordered. Was told it was just waiting on a plane to pick it up.

One month later asked for more info, email went unanswered. A couple of weeks later the item changed to out of stock, expecting more in April.

It is the end of july, no contact from the vendor, no timeline on the item.

So just make sure they actually have what you want in stock, anything they drop ship can possibly take months. Don't expect prompt customer service either.

Save yourself the headache and go to Cabelas instead. These guys tell you that they have something in stock, take your money, 4 months later, I’m still waiting! Impossible to get through to customer service and when you finally do, they won’t give you a refund and tell you it should be on its way! *scam artists*!

Extremely bad.after placing an order and not receiving and shipping details after a couple of days I contacted them.they said that they were not in fact in stock despite saying so on their web site.they sent an email saying it is refund. 2 weeks on nothing. 4 emails, 3 texts and a dozen phone calls later they're not responding. Im contacting RBC to complain about fraud

Placed an order in march.after 3 weeks of no shipping notice, emailed to find out the status, no reply. Several weeks later used their contact form on the website to please call me, no reply.called several times, no reply.now late June and still have not received my order.

I must say.my first experience with Lockhart was actually unbelievable. The customer service surprised me. I appreciate the swift action they took (proactively) to solve my problem (that I didn’t even know I had yet). They were upfront, courteous, and solution oriented. I am extremely happy and will continue to give them my business for life. As a canadian armed forces member, I also saved some money.

I am grateful.

I have ordered something last week. I still haven't received any confirmation on the shipment or the lead time.
I am sure they are all great guys but what they are lacking is customer service, a little acknowlegement of the order to the customer makes a huge difference.
I am sure during the time of lock down it's hard to respond to your customers in timely manner, but it shouldn't take a week to respond to an email.
So start aNswering your calls and emails.

Lockhart tactical is a holy poky tac shop based in Cowichan, British Columbia. They almost never will answer the phone or email. Show several items in stock on site but don't actually have in stock, so you sit in backorder while they hold onto your money. Ive made the mistake of ordering from these unprofessionals, don't make the same mistake I did.

Ordered some 10 round mags for my SKS. They arrived in less than a week. Samuel was great to deal with and even put my name on them with his cool laser engraving machine. Great to deal with.

Very disappointed- I ordered a few things over a month ago. Haven’t heard a thing from them since they took my money. I have sent many emails with no reply or acknowledgement of any kind. At this point, I doubt I will ever get my order. Nobody at Lockhart will even respond to say anything to me- Just to of let me know something, anything at all would of been all I needed. Am highly disappointed in their customer service for sure- doubt I will ever get my order.

UPDATE: rec’d emails & then a phone call from Samuel and he was amazing. He went above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied and I very much was. He’s very knowledgeable and has amazing customer service skills.because of the phone call and him going that mile for me I will definitely be giving him my business- I highly recommend Samuel at Lockhart Tacticsl. 5 stars all the way

Communication with this company is somewhat poor. My latest email to the owner went unanswered. Also tried to phone but the call went unanswered.not sure if I would order from here again but the price was good!

5 weeks after ordering, lockhart was ignoring my repeated attempts at contact. After contacting his unit and the RCMP, he finally contacted me. He made offers from his store. I asked for refund and am waiting for the bank to confirm it went through, although I recieved an email from him showing the refund, I will believe it once the bank confirms it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered $180.00 worth of products on Aug 28/2019 and its Dec 12/2019 and have not received anything and the company refuses to return my calls, emails and internal website communications. When I researched the company, the address on the website using gmail street location shows a farm house in a rural area. I leave the rest for you to decide. I am very disappointed and frustrated. They broke my trust in ordering anything on the internet. I wish they would fix this problem. Im currently in contact with the local police department in there area
