Worst customer service at the pharmacy ever. My doctor sent an urgent prescription for insulin (I was out of town and forgot my insulin, so I needed it urgent). I called to request a rush, attendant said she couldn’t do anything and I should take care of my medicines! Super unprofessional. This person should be fired! Hope she gets what she wants to other people. Bitter person.

The woman who works in the photo department (suzanne) needs to be fired or moved to a dept where she doesn't deal with people. Went here to get a print enlarged. I tried to ask questions about the photo and she kept cutting me off or just not answering my question. I would ask a question and she would say nothing like I wasn't even there. She even rolled her eyes once during our interaction.

When I went to pick up the photo, she was going to refuse to give it to me because I forgot my order number. She talked to me like an 8 year old being scolded by a mother. I will NEVER come back to this department or store again. I have no idea why this store keeps workers like this.

Be extra careful when getting your prescriptions from this pharmacy. I was supposed to receive antibiotics and they somehow slipped a blood thinner in there to which I accidentally took and definitely learned my lesson to double check what im actually taking, I felt extremely ill all day and had a nose bleed and didn’t know why then I went to take my next antibiotic from the blister pack that was all separated in different pieces within the box and realized this time the pill was white, not blue like the one I had taken before, what do you know it was a pretty strong prescription blood thinner which given the right situation and underlying health condition could have killed someone or done serious harm. I was lucky it only gave me a nose bleed and migraine and a hospital trip. Could have been so much worse. Training staff in pharmacy care to triple check could save someone’s life so London drugs I would strongly recommend you invest in training your staff before something serious happens as this is not the first time I’ve heard of this happening at this location.

Horrible service sold me a power bar serge protector and when I plugged my electronics in smoke came from it they won’t even exchange it without proof of purchase only because they don’t have any left if you need good customer service don’t ask the younger female manager she won’t help

My wife went to this store to get PR photos. The employee was extremely rude. My wife tried to politely explain the photo specifications but the employee responded in a very aggressive manner that she knows her job! My wife just wanted to make sure the photos do not get rejected (happened before). The employee then left her station and someone else came to finish the job. It was a very unpleasant experience. We will never set foot in a London Drugs store again.

Had some film developed, payed for digital and physical copies. Received email that order was ready but never received digital copies. No staff at PhotoLab when I picked up prints so other department staff said to leave note with contact info for PhotoLab to contact me later. Over a month later and never heard from them. Came to store again to explain issue and the woman was incredibly short and rude, continuously talked over me when I was trying to politely explain what happened. She said there was never a note left or else she would have saw it. She said I should have come in immediately after and at a better time for them. She says they sent my photos to the wrong email (typo). She attempts to resend the photos to my email and AGAIN sends it to the wrong email (different typo). Then proceeds to be annoyed at me for their spelling errors, even though my correct email is on the order receipt. This is concerning as TWO random emails received my personal photos without my permission. A simple error and easy solution was resolved with poor customer service. The woman in the photolab needs an attitude check. I understand mistakes happen but it’s how the person corrects the mistake that truly matters.

Went to purchase a tablet. Confirmed online that they had some in stock, arrived at the store and the poor clerk had literally no idea what he was doing. He was the electronics "specialist" but didn't know anything about the tablets, couldn't understand which one I wanted even though I walked up to the display and said that one, and then rather than go check he just said we probably don't have it in stock. After 30 minutes of him trying to sell me random stuff, no, I'm not kidding, he finally goes to the back where he asks another clerk if they have any of the tablet I wanted, to which the clerk replies, "I don't know, you should know better than I do, it's your section" he then directs him where to look in the back. After three attemps of bringing the wrong product out and me having to tell him it's the wrong one, the guy finally comes back with a beat up box covered in markings and then spends 50 minutes attempting to ring me up. It was brutal. It was like it was his first day, and they left him all alone to figure it out. Finally after almost 3 full hours spent in the store for a transaction that should have taken less than 20 minutes, I walked out with the tablet. This was within walking distance, had my car not been in the shop I would have left and gone to best buy, where my partner purchased the same tablet in less than 15 minutes a week prior. Can't recommend going to the electronics section unless you have several years spare time and an endless amount of patience. Bright side is he undercharged me by a decent amount, and since I had already corrected him on the price (he originally only was going to charge me $36.95 somehow) I was fed up and just let him fumble his way to then finish line.

Waited 15 minutes in line at the electronics department for help with Keyboard duster just to be told to wait even longer to speak to someone else in the same department by some lazy employee who couldn’t just got get it himself. Save yourself the 30 minutes and just drive to best buy. Or better yet buy from Amazon. Retailers have forgotten the definition of customer service. Soon enough they will be without jobs because of it.

This pharmacy is a complete joke. They regularly lie about readiness of prescriptions, lose faxes and notes, ignore doctor's orders, and put accountability on other staff. On several occasions they have asked for "twenty more minutes", only to decide after that they need something else from the doctor. They play these stupid games with my 5 year old's seizure medication.

Take your prescriptions anywhere else.

A good location, Photo department staff are great. Bought an expensive camera lens from them which ended up being defective out of the box, Easy to return even though they didn't have it in stock. Only took a week to get a replacement lens to the store. Called me right away.

Horrible people that work in the technical department, they are rude and on top of it do not know anything about what they are selling. Do your self a favour and drive to the next one down the road.

I like this London Drugs. Not only is it in a super accessible part of town, it’s also got a great selection! If I’m in need of school supplies I run here and get what I need in an instant! I’ve also noticed that the staff here are incredibly friendly and I always chose to checkout with a cashier rather than the self serve checkouts because I always have fun conversations with the cashiers! Despite the troubles downtown Nanaimo has, I enjoy visiting this store!

Easy to navigate, affordable prices. My favourite is saying hello to your super friendly security man at the door. He always puts a smile on my face:)

Horrible! Waited in line for 30mins and when I got to the till, the customer service is just horrible! I was told that it would be a great way to learn patience. The crowds of people that are drugged out littered everywhere. Such an uncomfortable atmosphere! Do not bring your kids here.
