I am a long time customer at this location and have always been impressed by the customer service and selection of products. However, I must complain about the decision to keep the store open despite extremely poor air quality inside the store due to the smoke from the neighbouring buildings being on fire. I saw no signage warning customers of the poor air quality inside the store or in the parkade, which were both significantly worse than immediately outside the front entrance, nor did I see any air filters in use. There was a manager or someone from the corporate office standing outside who seemed to be answering questions, but it sounded like he was brushing off complaints about the smokiness and didn't seem to be aware of how bad the air quality was inside the store. Many of the staff appeared to be visibly uncomfortable, and I myself was only in the store for 5 minutes and I felt unwell afterwards, so I cannot imagine having to stay in the store to work for an entire shift while breathing in the smoke. This is not a criticism of the store or pharmacy staff as I am sure they were doing their best in these conditions, but rather this is a criticism of the store management/corporate office as there didn't seem to be any concern for the health and safety of staff and customers. Common sense would have been to keep the store closed until it could be properly aired out, not forcing employees to work at risk of smoke-related illness and allowing customers to walk in unaware of the conditions inside the store. I am a highly disappointed customer and the company needs to do better.

I swung by Kerrisdale London Drugs wondering out of curiosity if it was still open (and to observe the surrounding area). They were! The air quality was bad inside, but there were still staff working. It was shocking! What kind of reputation are you even trying to build? That you remain open and available to customers even during critical events in the neighbourhood? NO! The message you’re giving is that you’re ignorant and aren't considerate of your employees or your customers. Please be more mindful of you your employees and us.

Was there on Monday Oct 2nd and boy was it smokey! I can’t believe the Kerrisdale store remained open! Many of us are patients of the pharmacy and have lung conditions. It’s ridiculous that there wasn’t any signage indicating that it was still heavily smoky inside the building! That is a big safety concern! I hope none of the employees working also have lung conditions. Even if they don’t, they shouldn’t have been made to work. The conditions are terrible inside the store! Why did management keep it open? I think you should review your policies and procedures.

Show up at 3: 30, autoplan service desk has a sign up saying they’ll be back at 5: 45 (!?). I thought surely they meant 3: 45. Come back at 4 and still no one there. Absolutely insane that that’s allowed.

Goli E is possible the most irritating cashier in London drugs history after lugging a mini fridge across the store without help to the front and ask for it to be held there on hold while I shopped. After gathering well over 800$ in products to buy they moved the fridge all the way back to its original location and then consecutively blamed me for it saying I took to long and made me lug it back to the front to buy it.

Love this place the photo lab staff are always helpful and cheerful the photo quality is always awesome not only that they also always have really good deals on everything from electronics to food and more great place to go for grate deals

I dropped my prescription off and asked if it could be done faster as I am having hard time to breathe as I was having my asthma started. I been told to wait for 45 minutes. That was absolutely unprofessional as well as unkind!

What a Super Friendly Pharmacy they have here. I can call and ask them any related question and they will always give me the best information.

I have not problem with this store and it is my go to pharmacy. But yesterdays experience has really makes me questions twice about whether or not I should come here again. I was trying to explain a miscommunication on the order and an women who is Indian ethnicity say to me you are not allow to think this way it is in correct. Since when do someone has the right to restrict another individual about his/her thoughts and express ones option without costing other harm or discomfort.

I love this location. They have great selection and it's not super busy like so many other locations. So glad to live close by.

As I was lining up at the customer service, the staff was helping out an elder before me, towards the end of their interaction, an Asian man walked over with 2 shopping cart and stopped near the customer service!

Right after the staff helped the elder before me, the Asian man gave the staff 2 receipts, the the staff looked at me once, looked at the Asian man once, and she just started helping him….

There are tons of people behind me all waiting for their service, so what is the point of people lining up to get help? Are we in China? She even looked at me and STILL decide to help that Asian man first….

I just walked out of the store right away, and I don’t think this staff deserved my breath to even ask her why did she think it was ok to assist the man who doesn’t need to line up….

I have always been visiting this location for the time when I grew up in the area…. This is the first time I’ve experienced this type of service!

Staff is so Overexploited in LD Kerisdale, it is Depressing. A very long lineup for just one single cashier and a clearly stressed out manager, among other tense factors in that place. This is a real developing-country sweatshop, all because shareholders of London Drugs, a multibillion dollar company, refuse to hire ONE more cashier, even for minimum wage even when salary subsidies are offered by the government. The Ministry of Labour should be involved. So much greed by London Drugs shareholders should be illegal. Pandemic is not to blame, because other pharmacies and stores in the area stay properly staffed. I am boycotting companies that overexploit understaffed employees and I urge people to do the same. Say NO to sweatshops!

Heavier set woman with the glasses in the cosmetic department with the Spanish accent can be slightly passive aggressive. I do not feel comfortable going back.

Avoid: Employees are discouraging social distance. When a customer was not respecting social distancing (she just stood less than 10 inches from my face) and refused to move when asked, forcing me to insist, an older employee at the Computer/Photography Section even took the offender's side! This older employee is known to be arrogant and blatantly ignore customers when asked about something. Just avoiding to work. Definitely a liability to the store chain. Avoid.

The staff here are insanely incompetent at their job and caused hours of my time wasted for a petty reason. They do not deal with any problems at the workplace and are only there to waste space and to be paid by union

Not a particularly good London Drugs. I moved to the area recently but this location has lacked what others have had. Need to know when something is coming in? Well, the managers have no clue I'll tell you that much.

Proud to call this place my neighborhood pharmacy. They have heart and care immensely about their clients. I can always count on them. 100% would recommend

Very happy with the computer service here. Warranty was honored without issue and Harold, the manager was very friendly and helpful, as were the other employees.

Typical set up with a consistent availability of food stuffs, housewares, camera, computer, pharmacy and cosmetics. Regular weekly flyers and monthly in store advertised sales. Excellent values on many items. Excellent service, knowledge staff in all departments. Fewer number of check outs than other larger locations with self serve kiosks limited for debit or credit cards purchases. Line ups for cashier service an be glacially slow at times. Bright, well lit location with a convenient compass ticket vending machine for transit pass purchases.

The store is fine. But their sole Apple technician (they're an authorized Apple AD) was busy chatting up people trying to make a sale for 15 minutes after my appointment scheduled through Apple was supposed to begin. Other salespeople were milling about, the technician should have just handed the potential clients off. I just left.

Experience with terrible attitude at "Customer Service" (quotes intended). I am a regular customer of LD, but my usual store is under renos so I ventured to this one. I bought a bunch of chocolate for Easter and the Lindt was on sale and before leaving the store, I noticed a mistake. One of the 10 Lindt items I bought did not ring in at the sale price, and since it was all similar (but not the same), it was difficult to decipher which item on the receipt was which (receipts are very basic with no item codes). I partially decoded it before approaching customer service, and I'd narrowed it down to 1 of 2 items that could have rung up incorrectly. I show the receipt and describe the sale on all the Lindt items and what happened, using my cheery receptionist voice. Her Response: *Heavy Sigh*, frowning, "So, you don't KNOW which item it is? " I show her the receipt again, the 2 items which it could be, and explain my reasoning. Another heavy sigh. She shrugs her shoulders and says "Well, I can't tell which item it is. " (Stress on "I") Pause. She looks at me annoyed. Pause. I'm not sure at this point if she's waiting for me to solve the problem. "Well, I'm gonna have to call somebody. " (Her tone is contemptuous and she looks at me, very annoyed, seeming to hope that I'll say "That's ok, nevermind. " But I don't.) Another sigh. She calls over a supervisor, who easily solves it and instructs her to refund me the overcharge. When it's all done, I smile and say thank you (to deaf ears), and walk out wondering what the heck just happened.

Terrible slow service - not enough cashiers and their self check out stations are often closed. Figure that?
Poor management it’s time for a management change at this LD location.

They sold me a used vacuum. Not sure if was a mistake by their staff or what but the manager should keep an eye on to ensure your employees do the right thing. The customer service even told me that they would never sell a used products to customers but isn't that the point I returned it? Make me feels like he thinks I'm lying or something. Some other day I went there for ordering a DSLR remote.one of the staff told me to leave my name and phone number down and he will order it for me, but I waited about a month, no phone call no nothing and he told me it usually takes 5 business day for the item to arrive to the location.

It's my first time feeling regretful to come to london drugs. The asian woman at checkout counter which beside the self checkout gave me the rudest service experiences ever at any market store. I asked to exchange some dollars to paper bill before I paid my item, the cashier didn't reply yes or not, just telling the total amount. When I paid my bill, she just passed the receipt and started to scan the next customer with a cold face. Speechless.
I think the shoppers few blocks away would be a better place to go, even it's pricy.

This store has a good selection of products and is well organized. The pharmacy staff are nice and willing to help.

As for staff working in other parts of the store. I (a frequent customer) found it somehow interesting. Most asian staff are very or at least reasonably nice. The several young girls are nice and cheerful too. However most other staff are often seemingly unhappy, arrogant or sometimes even insulting. (I have to say there is one older Caucasian staff with moustache who are always so nice). As you walk in the store you are often given this weird unwelcoming looks from some staff (may I just look constantly annoying to them). Maybe I think too much but, I don't get these in other stores.

I would like to sorta concur a previous comment on the staff working in the photo section, big, possibly named Taylor (let's call him Taylor for now). Taylor could sometimes be nice but, he often is too confident about himself and thinks all other customers are silly. I won't go into too much details.

Good place for many things.

Medicines, vaccinations and consultations.

Good camera ans electronics departments.

Good place to buy candy and cards. I have found many a good and appropriate cards in London Drugs. Infact, the best place to find cards.

They have absolutely the dumbest point system.

I bought a slr camera for 1200 dollars. I got one point. I bought 3 bars of chocolate for $6. I got one point.

You think about it. It does not makes sense

Otherwise a good store. Now I buy expensive items at other places. Those places match prices.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Photo department is especially helpful and they are my number 1 choice for developing my photos! Couldn't recommend enough!
