We went through a few days back and had the pleasure of meeting SHERRY.
She was so wonderful telling us about the house, but also laughing and talking with us.
She is SUPER!
We want to go back just to chat and see her joyful smile.

Teas aren’t every weekend, but they are happening. The price is higher, like everything. It means I can’t go as often as I did. I worry that they won’t fill their seats because of the increase of price. Be sure to make a reservation.

But ohhhhhh - it is lovely. Really lovely. If you get to work at the tearoom, you’re lucky. If you get to take tea, you’re lucky.

3 tiers of sweets, including fresh scones. Endless pots of tea and cream. Delightful mix of teacups and saucers from different sets, and the cutest tablecloths. Views of the garden! And there was cool air in the tearoom on a hot day.

The tearoom opened for one weekend in December, 2021.they come back for good.

We cAME here 3-4 times a year. They just knEW tea - served in china with scones, jam, and ever-changing baking. The people serving were so nice. Like REALLY NICE. I can’t believe I never thought to write a review before.

Stunning heritage property. Well taken care of. Beautiful Flowers & the Vegetable Allotment was the best we've ever seen.

It's a Must Visit on your to-do list.

If you visit Steveston and go to the Cannery and the Britannia Ship Yard, it's worth a further short trip down the road to go visit. There's also a really nice river beach located right beside for a picnic etc.
