Yeah i love this place, i can hop in real quick to make impulse purchases or take my time and ask questions.store is clean quiet and chill every time i've been here and folks seem to know what they're doing. I just enjoy making music and noise for fun and it's always cool to hop in cuz they got neat stuff i didnt even know existed.very cool

Long and McQuade is one of the best musical instruments shops in Vancouver Island with a variety of instruments, tools, and amazing staff. Staff knowledgeable, friendly and if you have questions, they assist you. Dustin H from the string department is one of the best staff we enjoy all the time working with him for a long time.

My colleague andI went in today to rent a sound system for a charitable fund raising and we had the pleasure of being helped by a cheerful employee. His customer service skills were phenomenal and knew exactly what we needed. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions with ease. I would highly recommend coming here! It was so cool to come in to the store and be immediately greeted with a smile and friendly hello. He even recommended insurance for the items we rented just to be on the safe side if something happens that we gladly got.

I appreciate brick and mortar stores at this online shopping era. It's nice to have quick in person shopping, but also get to see books and equipments before buying them. They are also very competitive and efficient for bringing in books that may not have been currently in stock.

Depends on who you get but the last few times I've tried to rent things from there the sales person lied about not having wireless mics in stock just because they were too lazy to put through our order. He even charged us an expensive holding fee a month prior and then didn't even put our order together. I sent someone else in the same day and luckily they got a different person that was able to put the order together for us. The original guy wasted both our time and money.

You can get far better deals and far better service going somewhere else, which is very unfortunate because my company has had an account since the 70s.

We still go there for last minute rentals but it's not always a pleasant experience.
