Lonsdale Dental Centre

I have been going to Lonsdale Dental Centre for 3 years. I always admire their care and hospitality and more importantly, smiles from the staff whenever I’m there. Thank you Lonsdale Dental!

Dr Orendi dealt with my dental problem (detached gold crown) in a prompt and professional manner.

Dr. Soni and her team are thorough, gentle and give sound advice - particularly when it comes to prioritising treatments and costs. The reception team are great communicators too and answer all my 100s of questions with ease.

On time appointment and very friendly front office staff - I have always had very friendly dental techs who guilts me into flossing regularly between visits - thanks for the gentle nudge and the “deep clean”…

These guys are the best. Happy to fit you in short notice. New equipment. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

Fabulous experience! First time here as just moved to North Vancouver. The dental hygienist and the dentist were amazing as were the front end staff! I actually enjoyed going to the dentist.

I am someone who experiences severe anxiety around dental work. Each time I go to Lonsdale Dental Centre that anxiety lessens. My de twist. Dr. Soni, is gentle, communicative and kind and my hygienist today, Sherry, helped to calm my nerves throughout my appointment.

Not professional. Just tried this dentist and it was not a good experience. The cleaning was subpar. The hygienist didn’t know what he was doing. The dentist was not knowledgeable or professional with my issue. I don’t recommend this dental office. Go elsewhere.

My experience at Lonsdale Dental Centre was amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and of course my hygienist Luella was outstanding as usual.

Always a nice appointment. Staff are friendly and respectful and everyone does a wonderful job. Not an office that pushes for work to be done in order to make money. I feel they have my best interest at heart with respect to my health and my finances.

I have been visiting Lonsdale Dental Center for more than a year now. I found the staff curtious, profeesional (and accommodating if a change of appointment needed).

Very professional and friendly dental office. My hygienist was great and the dentist was sweet.

Great dental clinic with very knowledgeable and kind staff. I get very bad dental anxiety but they were very understanding and helped me get through my appointment! Front desk staff was also very kind and had my benefits all ready to go before I even came, made the process very easy and fast!

Terrible experience. They told me I was to have my cable installed on a second visit, then they told me it had to be done on a third visit. Then they told me it wasn't necessary.very poor communication.

Then they botched my cable removal procedure by leaving the glue on a tooth which forced me to waist 1h of my time.

I truly do not recommend. It is unreal that their average score is 4.9.

Had a super comfortable visit! The Dr and the staff presented me with my options and included me in making a plan for my procedures. Also had a few good laughs during my visit, which was awesome!

The staff at this Dentist office are always polite, professional and kind! They did some amazing reconstruction on a crown that had begun to look terrible over time. I get so many compliments on my teeth!

Head to reschedule my appointment, next available date was 2 months away. They took me in 30 min late, the hygienist took forever and was constantly fidgetting with equipment. Dentist was too busy to do the check up and told me I could wait 20 min or come back. Not my best experience

My crown fell off my tooth the evening before, and my dentist could not see me right away. Since I was heading out on vacation I popped into Lonsdale Dental Centre to see if I could get some help. They had me in 3 hours later, and a dentist glued my crown on. Great service. They took my insurance information and billed direct to the provider which was a bonus.

Updated* First time going to this dental office. Was pleased to see they had measures in place for the Covid issue. My hygienist and Dentist were both friendly and experienced. Would recommend for sure check out this location if you are on the North Shore in need of a dentist. I've now been going to this dentist for over a year. Still getting amazing service:)

Lonsdale Dental Centre is amazing because of the people that work there. They truly care about their patients. I feel like my opinions and concerns matter and I’m always treated with respect and compassion. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth and you shouldn’t either!

Luella was amazing and made me feel so comfortable during my cleaning. She was so helpful and took time to educate me throughout the process!

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Soni and it was a lovely experience! Lisa was kind and welcoming and I felt super comfortable. It’s refreshing to speak with a doctor like Dr. Soni who doesn’t make you feel less than and educates you on what’s going on with your health. She took the time to explain every procedure that she recommended based off of her examination and I felt completely at ease. Krystyna was also such a pleasure to interact with as well! Her laidback but professional attitude was wonderful to experience. I can’t wait to continue to work with them in the future.

Luella is an excellent hygienist. She knows I’m nervous and always takes the time to make sure I’m comfortable. Cat is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this dental practice.

I am at ease every time I have a dental appointment here. Staff, especially Kat & Louella, are pleasant and cordial. Service and equipment are top grade.

The minute I came in the door Cat greeted me with her welcoming smile, made me feel like I was one of her friends.
Luella was the most gentle patient hygienist I've ever met in my whole life. She made me calm and assured I was ok the whole time. Dr. Soni had such a calm
Demeanour and was very informative.
I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist and these 3 ladies took that away with ease.

When you enter, super friendly staff (Cat & Lisa) welcomes you. Even though I only had to wait a few minutes, doctor and staff still apologized and said "thank you for waiting" several times.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Anita Orendi. She was very kind and thoughtful. She was extra careful to ensure no sensitive spots in my mouth were touched by surprise. Krystyna assisted with my dental exam. Again, she was also very friendly and kind.

Overall, the dentist itself was very clean. I even saw staff cleaning thoroughly during my 1 hour stay there. The dental cost were reasonable, too. My favourite dentist in North Van for sure!:)

I normally hate going to the dentist but so far, both times that I’ve gone here, it’s been surprisingly decent. All of the staff are wonderful and I’m slowly starting to dread dentist visits less.

We have been going to Dr. Orendi at Lonsdale Dental for several years. She is an outstanding dentist! Her cheerful and patient manner helps us to feel relaxed and the dental work is pain free and very skillfully done. She takes the time to explain the treatment step by step. Christina, her assistant and Lisa and Kat at reception are also always pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend Lonsdale Dental.

This was my first visit here, and I was very happy with it. New patient process was smooth, appointment follow up, reminders were great. Ladies at the front desk were very friendly when I went in. My dental hygienist was very good and did a very careful clean up. Was very efficient and good with the whole process. Dr. Sonia was nice too, although I had a very brief time with her. I am yet to go back for fillings. Overall very happy with my first experience! Thank you everyone who helped me with my teeth today:)

Efficient, thoughtful and caring staff. The hygienist was excellent. Very thorough and informative. Not to mention cheerful, in spite of fairly hot weather. Even with A/C on! Thank-you.

They are cooperative but they can't arrange for soon appointments. Also you need to pick up your child sooner from school because they are not working after 3: 00 pm.

As always, my experience was super. Caring and kindness throughout. My options were carefully and thoroughly explained; my opinions were sought. I have never been comfortable with dentistry until I started going to Lonsdale Dental Centre; they are simply the best!

Every single time I have gone I have expressed my concerns and that I am unhappy with the work (even before getting it completed) and have witnesses and evidence to prove it, as well as witnesses to how rude Kat is. Don't post false statements, acting "surprised" to make yourselves look better on the internet, while boasting professionalism.

Horrible experience every time I have gone for dental work, from cleanings to veneers. To start Kat the receptionist is by far one of the rudest people I have ever met, extremely unprofessional. They assured me they were qualified to do veneers but that was very obviously not the case.

They showed me all of the shades to which I had expressed the lightest shade did not seem white enough for what I wanted, they assured me it would look whiter in my mouth. They sent my moulds in to the lab and showed me what my final veneers would look like to which I said they don’t look white enough and I wasn’t pleased with the shape. Once again they assured me they would look whiter and better shape once in my mouth. Lacking my better judgement I took their professional opinion and went forth with getting them on my teeth. I’m sure you can assume what the outcome was. They are not even close to what I wanted, the shade is the same as my bottom teeth which I have never whitened and I’m still not pleased with the shape. After having them finished they then told me there was a whiter shade they don’t show to clients because “they don’t think it looks natural. ” They then proceeded to say how it’s not their fault because I chose the shade, as if they hadn’t essentially coerced me into believing it would be different once they were done. I’ve gone back a few times since getting them and every time they given no solution. Only to call back when the owner was there, which they seemed to never be so I’ve given up.

It’s now about 2years later and I’m looking to having them redone somewhere else and spending another $20k. I’m not even someone to write reviews but hopefully this will save someone thousands of dollars

This was my first visit to Lonsdale Dental Centre and I was really impressed by the service. From reception onwards it was professional, courteous and painless. The hygienist was excellent, giving the most thorough clean and polish my teeth have ever had for over an hour. The dentist gave a thorough examination too and I will definitely be back in 6 months, thanks!

Excellent! Great environment and dentists, one thing I loved is that they teach you exactly step by step on how to care for your teeth to the best!

The team is top notch! From start to finish, you are treated like family. They answer any hesitations you may have, explain your procedure before they begin and the girls upfront are very helpful. For some one who has dental anxiety, they made me feel safe and were accommodating. I would recommend them to EVERYONE

I was due for a cleaning, it had been a year since my last one.i was very concerned about going in with concerns about COVID. From the moment I went through the front door I was made to safe with all the precautions that were in place. It was an absoloute pleasure to meet for the first time my hygenist Luella, she was amazing. I was in and out before I knew it. Looking forward to my next appointment in 6 months.

The whole team at Lonsdale Dental are so kind, compassionate, and informative. From my first appointment, Lisa, Nadine, and Dr. Soni immediately put me at ease. My second appointment, with more work to be done, Dr. Soni and Luella were incredibly kind and calm. Everything is explained in detail, from treatment to cost. My wisdom tooth was aching pretty bad, so I booked an appointment to check it out. Thank God Dr. Soni was able to extract it right away during the same appointment. She explained everything about the surgery, what to expect after, and I was as good as new just 2 days after it. Definitely a good experience. Her hygienist was super nice too (I can't remember her name unfortunately!).
