We went with londsdale because of the reviews and figured that the slightly higher price point would guarantee us better service and better results.
They floored our entire 2200 sq ft townhouse renovation. The hardwood installer did a great job and we’re happy with both the product and installation.
The carpet and vinyl installation, however, is terrible. The carpet was over cut and under cut in many spots, leaving a messy DIY-looking appearance. The product itself isn’t very good, but that’s not the fault of londsdale flooring. The installation, however, is a joke. It’s embarrassing and any tradesmen who come into our place can’t believe it was professionally installed for the price we paid. Photos attached.
The vinyl plank that was installed over cement is equally as shoddy. It’s popping up all over the place, the pieces wiggle, and I feel I could have done a better job myself. In fact, when guests have seen it they assume I DID do it myself.
I reached out to the company about these concerns and have not received a response. Once the guy came to look at the carpet but all he did was trim a few threads and ignored my feedback about the pieces being over or under cut and poorly installed. Hence this review.
I’m sorry that this is our experience because I really did enjoy working with Ray and expected the whole job to be of a much higher standard.
