Had a great time making Halloween Keyrings! Georgia was a fantastic instructor, and was patient, kind, and funny. I really enjoyed working with leather and love the final result! The value for money is fantastic, as you work with quality materials and get guided through the process, with the opportunity to ask as many questions as you need. I will definitely recommend to friends and come back for future workshops!

Got helpful advice here on how to restore and dye a old brown leather jacket and I’m extremely happy with the results.

Took a workshop with Dom yesterday and it was great fun. We made a leather belt and keychain, and I really appreciated his style of teaching. It was hands-off enough to make you feel like you could try things out, but if you were confused about any aspect of the making process, he'd be around to help. Jokes were mint too. Highly recommend!

This place seems to have everything. It’s beautifully organized and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The pricing seems very decent and quality items. I hope to sign up for one of their classes one day.

My wife is starting a new leather working hobby. The fellow there was very helpful, they have kits, how to videos and individuals that you can contact for help. Not sure of other leather places but it seems expensive, but that could just be the nature of leather supply. Example, a sneakers kit, not including the leather, is $60. But it has everything you'll need to make your own work of art shoes. I expect the next pairs get cheeper

This summer, I gave blood for the first time and ended up passing out at a cafe next to the blood clinic. I came to, surrounded by a crowd of extremely helpful Vancouverites who brought me ice, called an ambulance and took care of me. With my face planted in on the table, a woman behind me said, “I know this isn’t an appropriate time, but I have to say that I love your purse. ” I replied, (face still on the table) : “It’s always appropriate. Definitely my favourite shop in. Vancouver. I’ve been looking for a place like this in the Uk for a while - 3 months in Canadian and I’ve found the dream place. Great leather, great hardware, competitive prices and excellent knowledge on hand.

Picked up another selection of hardware and gear for my next leather project today. The gang at Lonsdale Leather as helpful as always. They had everything I needed plus way more. Love this place for making leather crafting so accessible. Always my first stop when I’m in town.

My husband and I have purchased a lot of product from Lonsdale Leather, as well as taken one of their workshops to make a leather tote bag. We had an amazing time at their workshop, it was very informative with great teaching.
Definitely recommend any of their workshops, and shop at their store for anything you need leatherwise.

You know when you look at a website and you're like "I feel like maybe if I were to go to this store my wallet will be so very upset" And then you finally go to the store and it exceeds all your expectations and you have to hold yourself back from spending all your money on various different things because the place is just so perfectly laid out and merchandised and everyone is friendly and their in house stuff is very affordable?
That's this place.
Didn't spend much this time, but know the next time I come in I'm in for a world of financial pain.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong awl haft and they were nice enough to ship me the correct one and also sent a postage paid package so I could return the incorrect awl haft. This is my 2nd order from Lonsdale Leather and I'm quite happy with their products and service.

I came in looking for help to refinish a leather chair (a first for me) and was given excellent advice by the staff member there. I left with high quality products in just the right amounts, and the chair turned out better than I could have expected. I'll definitely be returning in the future.

Very informative staff and helpful in all aspects in terms of guidance with choosing the leather, how to cut/ sew and tools to use!

We have now done 2 belt making courses and both times it has been such a blast! You get to choose your leather and there are hundreds of buckles to choose from as well. It's such a fun group event and the team at Lonsdale Leather goes above and beyond to make the experience so fun and enjoyable! Highly Recommend!

Unique and fantastic quality leather; just wish there was a more contemporary / better offering for hardware. Try to avoid the young woman that works there, she consistently has a horrible attitude.

A wide selection of high-quality leather and leather-working supplies in a central location. - why shop online (with the attendant shipping delay) or waste the better part of a day to drive out to some ghastly strip mall populated by the original cast of "The Hills Have Eyes" in the wilds of Surrey?

The staff know their stuff, both literally and figuratively, their COVID protocols are spot-on, they have space for you to work on your personal projects, and (as I mentioned) they are centrally located.

Excellent selection of leather and leatherworking supplies! Very well laid out shop and easy to find most things. The selection for findings and hardware is fantastic and one of the major reasons I go here.

I have driven out before to find them closed - I always check their hours and social media before going but there usually is no indication when they close early or for the day. Getting someone to answer the phone can be very hit or miss, but I highly recommend if you are traveling from outside of Vancouver to check before you go.

I think it is hard to know who your dealing with until something doesn't go as expected. I had a little mix up with one of my orders, they responded quickly (didn't avoid me) and resolved the situation in record speed. Thanks to Kristin and the LL staff. I'll be back

Great leather supply store. Easier to get to than Tandy and has higher quality leather and hardware. I've had a lot of success with their Heritage hides.

They've also recently started rolling out their own proprietary line of adhesives, dyes and tools - which seem to deliver both in price and quality. Been using their contact cement for a while now and it's my go-to.

Shout out to Riley is a fantastic shop owner - very responsive to emails and quick with tips and suggestions.

Also, I am totally doing this for more than just the free mug I'm getting next time I pick up my order.

I did the backpack making workshop in March. Riley is really knowledgeable, patient, and relaxed. The evening went by quickly. Amazing shop! I have been looking for leather supplies for a while now and I just found it. Selection is amazing, they have lots of choice for all, from full hides to small off cuts and raw hides as well. Thy have all the tools, clips, buckles, cleaning and treatment products you can think of. It's my new go to place for all my leather crafting projects.
