One of your employees i dealt with had poor manners and customer service skills. I tried to return a purchase and was rudely dismissed and denied service. I was forced to wait in line again to which another employee was able to help with my purchase return.

I am a frequent buyer at lordco and ive usually had amazing service from multiple different locations.unfortunately I mustve caught one of the parts desk attendants at a busy or bad time, spoke down to me and was almost upset that I had called in.quoted 900$ on a lower intermediate shaft for an 04 Ram 1500, i ended up buying one from the mopar manufacturer for 99$.
Might look to a local parts store next time if i have the option.

I have nothing but good to say about Victoria lordco especially the employee Alexa. I was stuck in Vancouver and she spent 45 minutes on the phone with me trying to help me figure out my problem. She went way above and beyond

Went in for parts for my boat trailer and the service rep, Alex, was very helpful in finding the correct parts. What I thought would be simple turned out to be a bit more complex than anticipated. She was very thorough and patient. Very much appreciated.

Excellent, had the part I needed which no one else had. Not the cheapest but I couldn't wait days for an online delivery. I have a 20 year old BMW 5 series and Lordco never let me down!

As a young female, navigating car stores and purchasing parts can be intimidating and stores have left me feeling stupid and have taken advantage of me. The sale associate Alexa at this location went above and beyond giving me information and helping me figure out what worked best for me and my vehicle. Alexa did not rush me at all and took the time to make sure I understood what I wanted/needed and that I was comfortable. I don't know if Alexa is the manager or has been working here for awhile but they are an all star, not just as an employee, but as a person too. Alexa was so kind and nice. I appreciate her help and expertise so much. If the manager is reading this- please give Alexa an extra two weeks of vacation cause wow they deserve it.

I feel a little ripped off. I called ahead to get a quote for an air filter. I expected it would be about $80. They quoted me $30 and change. I asked the guy to confirm becy the price seemed very low. He agreed and said it was a very good price because they were usually way more expensive. I didn't call anywhere else and decided to go down to the store and pick up the filter. I got there and the part was $83. They said it was a glitch in their system that listed the wrong price. The guys behind the counter were nice and apologized and said they couldn't even punch in the price they quoted me on the computer. I feel like larger corporations will usually side with the customer.

The final price was what I was expecting to pay
in the first place but I might have called other stores to get their price but at $30 I didn't want to bother looking for a better price and was happy to pay it for that air filter. It might not qualify as a bait & switch but the result is basically the same. I even took five minutes and wrote to the company expecting they apologize and maybe give me a store credit or something but they couldn't even be bothered to reply. I don't think this is very good customer service.

Lordco staff is always super helpful and kind when we have gone to purchase items. Moreover, I'm extremely happy to see how they have implemented safety precautions in regards to covid. It is nice to see that they are trying to keep everyone safe and healthy. Thank you looking after the our wellness.

Alexa at the part counter went over and above to help me out. I’m always hesitant to go to grab parts. I usually feel like I’m being talked down to or at. Alexa took time to walk me through everything and help me find exactly what I needed. Super grateful for such a great experience and knowledge.

On Sunday I purchased tires chains for a trip to Mt. Washington. In a candid conversation with an employee, I said I just needed them in the car in case of emergency. I said I will likely not need to use them, and asked if I could return them if I don't use them. He said yes. We talked about this plan in detail, and I was very happy it was a possibility. On the following Wednesday, after the trip, I tried to return the unused, unopened chains. They refused to return the $200 and instead offered a gift card. I do not need a lordco gift card. Were it made clear that there are no refunds on tire chains, there wouldn't have been a problem. But I was told this was possible. I should not be expected to know their policy without it being made clear, and especially so when told the opposite.

Go anywhere but Lordco if you value your time. Totally incompetent at this location, I've had to return over 5 times with wrong parts because there "system" has the wrong information. They can't even figure out the wipers for a Ford ranger, and when I asked them to look up what the Mazda would take (same exact truck) they said flat out no, they won't look it up. I feel bad for the employees, they must be treated horrible by management if they are so unwilling to help customers with the simplest request.

I went to Key 2 and they looked up the Mazda which gave us the right sized blades it took 25 seconds.

These guys rock. This location, I mean. Most of the rest are still pretty Dickey overall.

But these guys saved my butt, AND I learned a few new things about my vehicle in the process. For being stuck in the rain in a parking lot all day, the mechanical end went smoothly enough.

Big shout out to Sam the assistant manager, for rushing all those parts out continually and putting up with my prickly demeanor that day. Much appreciated Lady! Keep up with that. It's a good look for everyone!

Big inventory, great staff. They are very helpful efficient. If they don't have the part I need (and they almost always do) they get it in the next day.

Go to anyone but Gary. The guy will sell you whatever he can whether it fits your vehicle or not and deem his work as a success. Prays on people who visibly do not know what they are looking for. Any other staff member should be happy to help you out. Just stay away from Gary or you will go home with the wrong parts.

I didn't have a good experience, buying a battery for my car, they didn't want to take my old battery, let alone giving me a rebate for it. Canadian tire does that.
However Lordco did shipp the battery they didn't have within 24 hrs to the shop, which is good service.

Absolutely useless unless you do all the work and find them the part numbers then they will still tell you it doesn't exist but when you log in to them show 3 in-stock

I go to this lordco all the time to grab the parts I need, mainly because Tristan works there and is the best parts guy out there! He really knows his stuff and always knows exactly what I need. Thanks Tristan for being the best parts guy out there!

This is my go to store even though I live in Langford! The store manager and his staff have always provided expert and friendly advice. The service I have received there has always been of the highest quality and I thoroughly recommend them to everyone. If they haven’t got it, they’ll get it! Top marks!

I have always had great experiences at Lordco. I have been a customer there for about 20 years. Exceptional service. People are always friendly and very knowledgeable.whether it be from my auto body parts needs to engine parts or detailing parts. They have great prices. A very professional place.

Biggest ripoff I've experienced in terms of batteries. Paid over $100 more than the place I normally go to for a new car battery, and Lordco told me that was their "sale price". There were also at least seven people working the parts counters and no one even acknowledged us. When we finally were helped, the person we dealt with was very condescending. Poor customer service all around. Never again.

A bit intimidating when going in if you're not familiar with car parts, but staff is friendly. Only thing is some products being stocked in a pile, which made it confusing if they could be taken from there or not. This was seasonal stock though so I won't take a star for that. Was very surprised they had other stock other than car stuff. Some really cool camping things

I can't believe how terrible the customer service is here. Whoever the old dude at the service desk is, he should be let go. Seriously. The guy is condescending and rude. I'm never going to this place again. I will also go out if my way to let everyone that ever mentions the name "Lordco" know how HORRIBLE you guys treat your customers. Judging by some of the recent reviews, I'm one of many that have been treated this way.

If you do reply to this review, dont ask me to contact you to talk about how to make my experience better. Clearly you don't care, otherwise this would've been remedied a while ago.

Yeah sure, good selection of parts as any place like this should be expected to have. Customer service? Forget it. I dont know what the company culture is like at Lordco but if the attitudes of the staff is any indication, it can't be good.

This review isn't after my first visit to Lordco. After years of dealing with Lordco and it's miserable staff, I am tired of not being able to voice my opinion so here I am writing a review. Fat chance of having a real person from Lordco sit through this.

I always make sure I come with all the correct information about what I need. Part numbers, vehicle information, project details, whatever is needed. Without fail, I am greeted by someone who gives the impression that I am the largest inconvenience to their day. I see it with all the other customers too. I am used to keeping the peace with upset people and I always make an effort to be polite and positive. Staff will often have conversations about their weekend/ personal time while I am waiting at the service desk to be helped, all the while avoiding eye contact until I specifically ask for help. If the option I am looking for isn't available, there is no assistance on an alternative. Maybe it's a liability thing but the satisfaction you see on the staff's face when they tell you they dont have your part tells me otherwise.

I have been told there is nobody available to help me while the guy who told me sat on a stool eating pizza. Infront of customers, not doing work on a computer, behind the service desk just eating pizza saying he can't help. When he was done, he rolled his eyes, dragged his feet, and made it very apparent that I was wasting his time. (Burnside location)

I have paid thousands of dollars to Lordco over the years, and the staff have always been absolutely miserable. Unless you are a company that needs parts same day or in large numbers, make your purchases through one of the many cost effective alternatives online. The shipping time outweighs the stress of having to deal with British Columbia's finest.

Staff was incredibly rude and not helpful, didn’t give me clear information of when my orders would arrive. Came their to pick them up and was told that they couldn’t find it and to come back the next day. Very disrespectful staff, bad service, and over priced with better luck ordering online.

Selection has really gone downhill. I was unable to find DOT4 brake fluid or many choices for caliper paint. Ended up going to Canadian Tire.

I've been working to restore an old truck over the past 3 years. Lots of Lordco Bunside Ave. Store purchased parts. Almost every time I go get parts there is an issue.wrong parts.parts not arrived when they say they are.broken parts and nobody checks them out before selling them. Some parts staff act like they just want you out of the store or lineup. Me and everyone in the line up. I go to the store almost every weekend but this weekend I think that's it. Went to the competitor next door and had an excellent customer service service experience from professionals. Hope Lordco magement can do better at supporting their staff to learn to serve customers better. I won't be going back.

Victoria, Burnside store.
I use to use Lordco a lot a few years back but became disenchanted by their quite terrible customer service but I was impatient and needed the part today, so instead of going to Cip1 in Vancouver and being unable to order the part from Bumper 2 Bumper - both excellent businesses to work with - I made the error of ordering from Lordco. What's worse than "normal" Lordco, Lordco in times of Covid-19. They seem to have refined the f-off attitude of their customer service people being unable to organize a system where the customer knows where they should be - line up anyone - and only responding to customers when they get TOO CLOSE! I watched two customer service people with customers standing waiting infront of them, make no eye or verbal contact and instead get up and walk - I kid you not - to the farthest part of the store, no rhyme or reason.
I have given them one star because they had the part although delivery was 6 hours later than stated and during this time thay had me come back 3 times to "pick it up". They do have a tracking system for parts but it would seem only few have the secret decoder ring to work it.
This negative, soulless, joyless store should be avoided.

I love coming here. Top-notch quality customer service. I dealt with Lou, he is awesome very knowledgable and knows his stuff. Took care of everything I needed in a polite, efficient and professional manner.

I also speak for everyone else there. Great staff.

Some guys at this store are quite rude and they don't really want to help you. It is best if you know someone who works there if you need assistance. If you don't know exactly what you are doing parts-wise, then it is best to take the mechanic with you.

Lordco is great. Big supply super safe and things seriously. DON'T lean on the counter. I almost had to sit in the corner. By the way they carry the best sap remover, expensive but works. Thank you Lordco guy who pointed it out to me.

Be aware don’t trust the staffs knowledge and their database I purchased transmission fluid and filter from this store. Make sure you find specific for your vehicle before purchased. It damaged my truck transmission system and very expensive about $4-5k to rebuild transmission system. My suggestion go your manufacturer dealer store for specific parts. They will verify your VIN to match parts. It is more safe way to do if you don’t have owner manual from your used vehicle when you purchased.

Really poor first impression. Waited politely for my turn while being ignored by the parts people. Then watched as they helped their buddies who came in after me. Bad staff or bad management? Doesn't matter to me as I can and did go elsewhere.

My parts guy kept saying "as a mechanic". Then sold me what I didn't order.
Lesbeen cop made me blow into a breathalyzer for parking my right side wheels of my 1 ton RV on the curb to let large traffic by easily on a narrow road. I won't discount Lordco for it. Reterd.

Great prices and friendly staff. I did have an incident with brake calipers. One set being torqued (bolts for the slides), and the other not. Unfortunately, the not was realized when the caliper blew apart on the road.

I do accept responsibility that I shouldn't trust consistency, and I did find all the parts later.
