I Worked as a driver through COVID for a year they told me I'd only get my dental benefits if I could go a month without any sick time. Which I had already done. Anyway I did it again and I made it a month and a half before I cought COVID and had to miss work they said because the paperwork was still being filed for 2 weeks that I'd have to redo the month again to get dental benefits. I quit on the spot Neil was the manger at the time I should have listened to the coworkers that warned me about him he's a evil little man with anger problems this company doesn't care about their employees or customers

Lord goes always my go-to place or anything I need in or around my car. Build a relationship with someone at the back desk and they will start to give you friends and family discount.

So I bought brakes didn't end up needing them they were brand new and clean nothing everything how it was when I bought and the idiot working behind the counter had to get 3 other guys to look at them bc of alittle ware from rubbing in the box in my trunk the other guys said there fine and still was kinda stupid about it made me laugh but have someone who atlease knows car parts and especially new from used

Absolute rip off. If they even sell you the right part. They want $1350.00 for a jeep wrangler water pump. Can buy 4 from the dealership for that price. Ever since Mr.coates passed away, the stores have been run into the ground

The dude at the counter was frickn' awesome!

I came in on a motorcycle that had stared spitting hot coolant all over my leg. He was able to quickly source a compatible rad cap within minutes and not charge ton for it.

Couldn't be happier.

Ask for Adam, single handedly the best costumer service I have ever received. Helped me with everything (including a false diagnosis). I will ask for him any time I need anything from lordco. 10/10 would recommend

Tara and the staff help us a lot! Langley is one of the busiest stores around and Tara manages to make things happen. The staff are pleasant and always put our needs first. We appreciate them a lot and if there is ever a problem Tara always steps up. Thanks everyone!

Attendant on phone couldn't be bothered to find my part. I had someone previously find it and quote the price over the phone. When I called back to purchase the different person on the phone couldn't be bothered to help and gave up and said he couldn't find it!

Mark and Nyken are the best!

I had a client's car that broke down in front of the shop due to a blown radiator at 7pm. Called this store wow! They had the parts and fluids in stock! Mark was very quick and friendly on the phone and Nyken dropped it off right away

Always gets good service!

I have also tried to track down this mythical paint lady. After calling in 5 different times over a two day period i finally got her on the phone. I jokingly said that she was a difficult person to track down and told her I wanted to order 5 cans of base coat (paint code a35) was told that they only sold cans of base and clear pre mixxed. I asked if she was sure because the website seemed to indicate other wise. She was of course positive that was not the case. Ok I'll order it anyways. Was told that they did not take paint orders over the phone and I would have to come in to the store too order in person but that I would have to wait until tomorrow as she was leaving soon. The time was currently 3pm so I said no problem and hung up. Won't be wasting any more of my time.

Do not buy parts here. Everything is overpriced, majority of the staff have no idea what they are doing, and half the time you get the wrong part. I bought a temp sensor and the one they sold me was $50 with an account discount and didn't even fit! Then I cant even return it, I will admit it was my fault for loosing the receipt but I bought it on an account so they should be able to look it up. Bought the correct one on RockAuto.com for $8! Definitely sticking with RockAuto from now on.

I find it odd how the only people employed here are semi knowledgeable older men and very attractive, very young women who don't seem to know anything. I live so close by but try my hardest to avoid this location due to consistent long waits for the wrong parts. Please just hire your staff based on knowledge and experience. No one is coming to lordco for eye candy.

I usually go the Vancouver Lordco and the guys there are very helpful. I was nearby and stopped by the Langley location. I didn't get the right info, even thought the place was empty, maybe because it was a Friday. Or maybe it just depends on the location.

Best service every time you go in there always have smiles all weeks I really need to help you they are great Weathers the women or the men who work there and all know what they're doing recommend lorco to anybody from the do-it-yourself beginner to the experiencement people in mechanic work Always remember to shave your receipt because you can always return your product if you don't use it if no receipt no return I think or no return with no cash or debit back what you paid for you only get in store credit

I am used to being refused service at Canadian Tire and Lordco because I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. But at this location the staff was accommodating and courteous. Thank you! This will be my go to store from now on.

Usually has most of what I need in stock, multi tiered pricing is wonky pricing the same item higher for some than others which I don't like but such is life in the auto parts world in B. C.

Great staff service and inventory but Prices are far to high for walk-in non account holders always have to push for a decent price on purchases whereas NAPA will simply give you their best price.

This lordco location is pretty good for selection of parts. Some prices are fair. Some prices are insane. Most are in the middle. Whenever I have needed a part that they didn't have in stock, they ordered it for me.even over the phone. The last part that I had to order in, they told me it would take about a day, but I got a call within 3-4 hours telling me my part was in stock. That is what I consider good service. However.the service can sometimes be inattentive and/or rude.luckily it is good more times than not.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 8TH 2020:

I am happy to change this review to 5 stars up from 3. Today I needed a blower motor for my heater in my truck. It is going to snow and be cold tomorrow so I really needed it! I called and received very helpful service from Zack over the phone, who confirmed that there was a good quality blower motor in, stock for me. When I arrived at the store, they were fairly busy, but Zack who was already helping someone, communicated to those of us waiting in line, that they would be with us as soon as they could. I was helped by another parts person, and she was very friendly and helpful as well, unfortunately I didn't get her name. I was very pleased to see that the blower motor was a quality part, from a reputable brand, and it was even made in Canada! I wanted to visually confirm fitment, and she was very helpful. I also knew that their competitors were selling it for a bit less and they happily matched the price. I left a happy, satisfied customer with a quality part and a great customer service experience! It appears that maybe some of the staff that weren't so helpful or friendly in the past are no longer there, at least certainly not today! Great experience with a knowledgeable, helpful team, way to go!

Had a great time strolling through, received a fair quotation on upcoming service parts. Although I didn't leave with a Purchase, I will be coming back for other items. Questions were unanswered, which leaves room for additional training!

The manager, is the sole reason for giving a one star review. Im a regular customer at the store, i've witnessed him being rude, and condescending to customers that don't know what their looking for, and being even worse toward's customers that know exactly what they want and need. He's not helpful unless it's an easy task, and he's even worse toward his staff, especially the cashiers. Watched him give one the counter workers sh*t over the counter worker going to assist a relatively new cashier with a problem at the till. Same relatively new cashier, he stormed over there and rather rudely told her to get out of the way so he could get to the printer. I can keep going but it might turn into an essay.

Been here 4 times and served by 3 different employees and everytime the employees have seemed miserable. Either they’re understaffed and overworked or just hate their jobs. I’ve had much more pleasant experiences at other locations.

Very rude staff, especially the men working in the parts section. I think they forgot how to respond when someone says "hello" very uncomfortable experience here, I know my comment on this place won't change the atmosphere of this place but just want people to know this before going in this place. Been to other Lordco's and sometimes get the same issue. Might be with the lack of professional training or low wages that make these employees feel the need of mistreating people. One piece of advice for any employee that every reads all these comments that people took the time to tell you the truth, if you hate your job, do us all a favor and quit.

People worked hard to build their business and you people just ruin it in the end. Managers need to do their part as well

Often times employees are rude and you may have to return multiple times to exchange what you purchased for the correct item you originally needed.

Poor customer service, we walk in and just got stared at.no one says hello or asks if they can help. We went in looking for a bolt unsure of the size so hoping for some help. First women we asked for help was just like go look on the rack wouldn’t assist us. Still couldn’t find the bolt so waited to ask someone else and again just got looked at like we were dumb. Only giving a two star because a younger guy finally tried to help us and find the sizing of bolt and which one it was.

The parts guys are fine. It's the paint lady. I tried to track her down for the better part of a year (not a time sensitive project til it was). They'll tell you she starts at 730, but she doesn't actually start til 8 and then doesn't actually show up at 8. They'll say she'l be in on Tuesday but she's gone on vacation. She takes random and long lunch breaks, so even stopping in during the day didn't work to find her. And no, no one else in the store is trained in the art of paint matching.

Edited to add: I did finally manage to track her down, and it was, alas, not a five star experience. Just tried calling to follow up, and was told, at 3: 45, that "she's just on lunch, " and would be back in half an hour. Goy the paint, bill wasn't rung up on account. Will definitely need to source paint from somewhere else. Lookit that, apparently Horizon Paint and Body, nearby, is good. Will try them next time.

Arrived at the counter, the cashier rings in the products, the total is 10.00 more than advertised.
I explain that the item is listed on the shelf for 14.99 and give her the number. She says her system is showing the product for 24.99. I said well perhaps you need a manager to adjust the invoice. She looks at me dumbfounded, and then says" maybe they can help you at the back counter". I said really, now I should stand in the other line up to spend money at Lordco? My last comment to this young lady was, " sorry if that is the best you can do customer service wise, I don't need it that bad. After years of buying parts at Lordco, I am done.

Usually has the items I'm looking for but the staff can be really unhelpful. I tend to go in there without the need to ask questions. The parts counter is normally backed up, so id your in a hurry try elsewhere. On a plus side the store is bright, clean and well laid out which makes finding what you need easier. Downside: The parking lot is tight especially if they are busier than normal.

I know better then to use this lordco. Environment is so unfriendly and staff have the personalites of sticks. I have been in the auto industry for a long time and it always amazes me that so many have a hard time being happy at work. Customer service is lost on this place. The port Kells location is much better

Was just there with a list of over $1,000.00 in parts I needed for a car I just bought. I had done my research online, got prices. I really wanted to spend my money locally. I went to the guy I have dealt with before. I have had mixed dealings with him. Sometimes very helpful and made me feel like I was getting a deal others times I would have drove a hour to another parts store then to have to deal with him. Today I asked for a price on the most expensive part on my list and told myself if it was even remotely close to the online price I had found I would get everything on my list. He gave me a price that was way more expensive than my online quote, I asked him if that was the best he could do even with my account number he said yep.
I felt like I was interuppting his cereal he was eating at the counter. I walked out with my $1,000.00. Sorry Lordco this is the final straw for me. You need people at your counter that are friendly, welcoming and helpful, not people that feel like your bothering them by asking for a part.

Not helpful or understanding in dealing with "policy". When I tried to return a part (never used, $800) they were completely inflexible and asked that I see things from their point of view but refused to consider or acknowledge my (the customers) point of view. Update - I took up the time of multiple people in Lordco and other customers. Ultimately, I had to visit a different Lordco, much further from home to get my deserved refund. What a waste, and not neccessary if staff would listen to understand in the first place.
