Lotus Inn Restaurant

The cashiers are always soo friendly every time I go in to pick up my order and their food is pretty good, and for the price too. The red sauce they use for their chicken balls isn't artificial tasting and overwhelming like most places. I think Lotus Inn is one of the North Shores gems.

Server was absolutely lovely, but the restaurant itself was a bit dated and felt dirty. The food was fine, if all you're interested in is a buffet it's good, but i probably won't be back

Very good selection of food. Decent price for all you can eat. The food was fresh in the buffet. The guy replenishing the food was non stop bringing new fresh trays out. Will definitely return!

Great variety smorgasbord. Lots of seafood. Choices of chicken, beef, pork. Veggies with full flavour and cooked perfectly. Relaxed atmosphere, make it what you want. Staff is no pressure. Food tastes great. Steam trays kept full. Be careful: you will overeat.

A Friend and I went here on Aug 2 and it used to be very good food good service and busy my family been going there for years and I was highly disappointed.

First of I understand inflation but for two buffet meals and two drinks it was $ 62.00, the food was cold and gross. Only good part with after the only other two people left we had great service being the only person in the restaurant.

A great buffet restaurant! I have been here with my work crews and the staff knows what I like to have for drinks and my crews drinks. We are here 2-3 times a week for lunches. It is worth your time to be here at 11: 45 Am and the food is fresh. I enjoy the Buffet and the staff are well accommodating.

We haven't actually sat in the restaurant for quite some time. We get take out and then drive the hour and a half to get home on our shopping trips. The food is always hot when we sit to eat because these guys package it so well. The packages are so full that everyone can go back for seconds or thirds even and, trust me, we all go back for seconds or thirds because the food tastes great. The prices have gone up $20 or so for combinations (be prepared because their old menu pricing is still on sites) but in today's economy, I guess it's expected. When we treat ourselves to restaurant food, we go here because it is just that.a treat. The last time I stopped, the gentleman who took our order was phenomenal and extremely nice and helpful. I'd go back for that reason alone. It's been a while since I was treated so nicely by anyone in the food/service industry; he made my day.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! A friend and I went for dinner, we were told to go get a seat. We went and helped ourselves to the buffet, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for drinks! We are our meal before we got a drink! A server came and said she would give us a discount on the meal because of it. We go pay and my friend mentioned the discount, the waitress said yep no problem and then proceeded to punch in our meals and pretend to hit a discount button. They are so cheap they can't even honor their own words! Absolutely pathetic will not be back!

Came through kamloops this weekend and gave the buffet here a try. Everything tasted amazing. What you would expect for a Chinese buffet. The customer service was above and beyond. Only thing I could mention for them to get 5 stars is I noticed the toilets in the restrooms don't get regular attention. As a customer with little ones, I like to know the public bathrooms get regularly sanitized and cleaned. Other then that we will absolutely be back!

It is old, not much has changed in 50 years as far as food goes. Changed the layout of the original dining room. I enjoyed the nostalgia, but not very good food overall. Most is deep fried, and bland.

About 30 kinds of dishes, simple lettuce, pork, chicken, fried food, curry beef in various cooking styles, fried noodles, rice, rice noodles, the taste is average, because it is a group meal, so I don’t know the price.

Well I didn't get to be seated to even experience much of anything except a decent amount of blatant judgment of our outwardly superficial appearance of living in poverty. They would not even seat my partner & I at a table even though they had already seated a number of our friends.

I was throughly disheartened considering how much I had enjoyed this restaurant in the past and was hoping to share this experience with my partner.

Food was bountiful, but bland. No real standouts here. Smorgasbord was $25 pp, and considering what was on offer, kinda meh.

Place is worn out. Piles of boxes here and there. Open doors look in to darkened banquet halls piled with disused tables. Could use a refresh or at least a once-over to straighten things up a titch.

Neighborhood is super sketchy. Park out front so you can watch your car.

There are mostly fried dishes, like Hong Kong-style stir-fry, including fried rice noodles, desserts, and wonton soup. Return rate 85%

We went for the buffet tonight as moving and tired. Was my first time and was very impressed. Lots of options and I found maybe one or two items I didn’t find really good. Good price for the quality, options and the service with refreshments and clearing. Was very impressed. If you’re looking for the nostalgia feeling of an 80’s kid out for family dinner this nails it! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great dining experience!

They will rip you off. They have a menu posted, but will change the prices at will claiming "the menu online is 10 years old". Wife literally clicked the menu and it says "posted by manager in 2020". They were rude and did not correct the problem and I will be calling better business bureau on them. Plus the food is absolute garbage.

Haven't been here for 20+ yrs and was pleasantly surprised. Tasty and fresh buffet. Beef/broc fried chicken were excellent. Could use a couple more desserts, I'm not a big jello fan. I'll be back for sure.

We showed up with 17 and everything was great. In all honesty my family has been going here since the 80's

Food taste, portion and service was great. Really liked the fried wings and the wonton soup.

Ordered takeaway and watching people walkabout in the rain. Atmospheric sciences talk about global warming and climate change. Wake up sheeple, we are through the looking glass!

Always hot and fresh, includes great service and tasty too. Our go to for Chinese food in Kamloops!

Always welcoming and accommodating. Large selection and haven't had a bad experience. The only suggestion I could offer is updating the decor.
