Service department it brutal
Had an appointment for an oil change at 10am. Was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. After an hour my vehicle still had not been taken in. 2 hours for an oil change is brutal and unacceptable. Will not be taking me car back here for service

Very unprofessional customer service. As a customer you give and in return expect respect and professionalism, I have never in my life yet come across a dealership where a sales executive responds to you in a rude and utterly humiliating manner just because one wants to explore both car and financing options and not buy a vehicle on the spot.

Update: Notice to those purchasing new vehicles from Lougheed Hyundai, I was informed that a dealership Care Package Fee is mandatory on all new vehicles. There are some mud guards installed, key fob replacements etc.but there’s no option to opt out of this package, just a heads up!

This dealership isn't good company to purchase vehicles as there was no trade in from BMW to truck and didn't get no paperwork for the vehicle we purchased. I'm still paying for 2 vehicles as other vehicle I no longer have in my possession when should only pay for 1. Owe me lot of back pay since Aug 2022 as given me financial stress for 2 payments a month. Owe over $2700

From day one, Frank DeMichele has been a joy to work with at Lougheed Hyundai. We had to factory order our Tucson PHEV, and through the process, he kept us up to date constantly. He set up a test drive when one was available. He was never pushy. He felt more like a friend than a salesperson. He was very knowledgeable in regards to the government EV/PHEV rebates. I brought my Ioniq Electric in for a routine maintenence and there was an issue with pricing. Monica Carino-Alodaga the service manager was able to explain what happened and even covered the charge. We've been trying to look for a good SUV that would be perfect for our growing family (and one that would fit our budget) so i decided to check out Lougheed Hyundai's website first, and was chatting online with Sid.
I could already tell how committed he was with his job because he took the time to answer all my questions through chat even when he was still on his evening flight going back to Vancouver! He gave me his phone number and we were exchanging some follow-up emails after that.

We came to the dealership and checked out the new 2022 Hyundai Tucson AWD the other day. Sid was there to welcome us by the door and he was very professional (he works on weekends too!). He was able to explain everything we needed to know about the car and we went for a test drive. It was a wonderful experience. He was very patient and very knowledgeable. We didn't feel pressured to make a decision ASAP. He gave us some really good advice on a personal level and we never felt intimidated knowing that we were first-time buyers. We highly recommend that you reach out to Sid if you need help in getting your new Hyundai vehicle.

We all fell in love with the Tucson and decided to get it that same day.

After dealing with Sid, we were forwarded to Alfred's office for the financing approval. We had a great time discussing all our options for the car warranty and he was able to thoroughly explain all the things that we wanted to know regarding the car's maintenance, purchase agreement, etc. He was very kind and accommodating.

Once we were done with the financing matters, we went ahead to see Guri who works with ICBC for our car insurance coverage. Guri was also very good in providing us with the correct information about our insurance options. He made us choose our preferred plate number for our car and was very quick to get things done.

Actually, they were all very quick and efficient with their paperworks. We could see that they were very organized in processing our car purchase that day. While we were dealing with the financial department, or the insurance department, Sid and one of the guys were already busy getting our car ready for us to take it home. They already took it to the gas station, took out the plastic wraps inside the car, set-up our maintenance alert on the car's dashboard monitor, put up our license plate, etc. By the time we were done with Guri, the car was all set (with a full tank of gas)! I must say.that was such an amazing teamwork!

Then their manager came up to congratulate us on our new car and we all felt well taken care of by their whole team. They even promised to give us some free car accessories (which they ordered that day) such as all weather floor liners, cargo tray, etc.and hopefully, they will all arrive within this week so we could go visit them again.

They all made our experience in buying our very first family car here in Canada a fun and memorable one.

Bad experience in one of my warranty claim on a 2019 Veloster N. Technician said I can send pics. He did not even inspect my vehicle. No communication to me. Claim that Technician said - Looking at them on the photos provided, and also in person, I respectfully believe that the peeling is due to external contact. This answer has been given to the guest, but to no avail. He still insists that replacement ought to happen. This was entirely a lie and the clear coat flaking is getting worst. Sorry but there was no communication or even respect. I will not ever go back here for service.

I would definitely recommend this dealership if you're in the market to buy a vehicle. I dealt with Sid, Alfred and Jason during the process of buying a 2021 Hyundai Tucson in January 2021. The number one thing I liked about this dealership is there was no sales pressure. We were able to walk around the showroom without being hounded, but the second we needed something Sid was there to assist us. He even had crayons available for my young son to play with while we dealt with paperwork. The trade in value I received for my vehicle was fair. Upsells were offered to us but we weren't met with any resistance when we turned them down. The finance team were very friendly and efficient. The only thing keeping me from giving this dealership a 5 star rating is the service department. I had to bring my vehicle in for a software update shortly after taking it home. I was told multiple times that the appointment would take 1 hour before I booked it and again when I dropped my vehicle off on appointment day. Instead of taking 1 hours it took 2 hours. No one called me to give me a heads up when they realized it would take longer than expected, the service staff were unapologetic leading me to believe that this ins't an uncommon occurrence for them. It's fine if the appointment will take 2 hours, just tell the customer upfront that this will be the case so they don't miss other appointments they've scheduled during the day. I also didn't like that my settings had been changed when my vehicle was returned to me (dash thermometer was now in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius etc.). I found the service department to be generally unprofessional. Luckily I only have to take my vehicle to this service department for its first oil change/check up at 6000km to keep the warranty in place. After that I will most definitely be taking it to my own mechanic.

There is no dealership that I have dealt with in the past 20 years that comes to close to the level of professional service and support that Lougheed Hyundai does! I was feeling very anxious about the safety and security of our "new-ish" vehicle due to a recall but the service team made me feel comfortable and quickly found a solution. Thank you Vajinder! I look forward to continue to do business here and purchase my third Hyundai!
