Lovenote Bride - Vancouver

Absolutely loved this boutique, staff, and the Aesling and Truvelle collections. The location itself was calm, purposefully quiet, spacious and lovely. The dresses were just stunning. I went to quite a few bridal shops and was not able to find any collections like these ones. I got to work with Alix and Sarah who we’re very knowledgeable, gentle and kind. I would definitely send my friends here.

I could have walked out with any Lovenote dress and been happy, their selection is fantastic! I love that they are size inclusive and locally (Vancouver) based. Everyone working there was very lovely and helpful, and I ended up purchasing my wedding dress with customizations. It was so appreciated that I could mix and match some of the dresses so that the end result was exactly what I wanted, I didn't have to make concessions. I can't wait to see the final product!

I had an amazing time and Lovenote. The stylist was very friendly and helpful during my appointment and I found the dress! They were super accommodating when I came back in to show my family before purchasing and were great about customizing the dress to what I wanted.

Had the most wonderful experience at lovenote bridal. My mom, mother in law, sister and myself were greeted warmly and ended up having the whole studio to ourselves. It was a beautiful place to spend the morning trying on dresses. We were given ample time to find what we were looking for and had so much fun in the process. I ended up purchasing my dress at lovenote not only because it was a beautiful design and fit, but also because of the fun atmosphere and experience we had. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for their dress!

My bridal experience at Lovenote was amazing. I had a friendly and knowledge sales associate who helped me pick up dresses that matched what I dreamed my wedding dress would look like. The store looked amazing and each dress was absolutely perfect, it was really hard to narrow it down until I tried on the one I’ve always dreamed off. Everything about the store is amazing and makes dress shopping fun and relaxing.

I had the most amazing appointment and the ladies working were so helpful. I felt very comfortable during the entire process and didn’t feel any sort of pressure while I was there, which helped take off a lot of stress. The store space was beautiful and all the sample dresses were kept in great condition! I would recommend everyone go to Lovenote

I’ve had two opportunities to visit Lovenote — one was an appointment for myself to try on wedding dresses and another was for a friend who is newly engaged. Both experiences were so lovely. Everyone at Lovenote is so kind, they truly listen to your needs, your budgets and there is flexibility with the style of your dress and alterations which is fun. We were lucky enough to have the owner helping us both times and she is so lovely. The space is also beautiful, and the dresses are stunning.

Loved working with the lovenote team to find my wedding dress. They were super helpful with options and suggestions for their collections. The space is great with lot of room to try your dress on and a very personal experience.

Very disappointed with the service at Lovenote. My fiancé and 70yr old mother arrived at the store 15mins before their scheduled appointment. There were no other customers in the store. My mother asked if she could sit down on a couch in the store as they waited for their appointment. They were rudely told by Sarah to leave the store and come back 15mins later. No earlier. She mentioned there was a Starbucks around the corner if they’d like to wait there. During the appointment she seemed uninterested and disengaged.

For what is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience for a bride to be and her future mother in law it was tarnished by the unnecessary attitude they received walking into the store.

If you’re looking for a wedding gown - you have to go to Lovenote. Not only are they size inclusive and every bride regardless of your body shape can try on every single dress, but the gowns are absolutely beautiful and timeless. Gabby was my consultant during my appointment and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful, she knew how to perfectly pin the dress and actually picked out the dress I ended up saying yes to! After I had said yes to the dress, she informed me that she designed the dress herself, it was a very special moment for me. I can not speak highly enough of my experience there and would recommend to every bride to stop by!

Cannot say enough incredible things about Lovenote. I’m a soon to be bride and from the moment you walk in the door to their beautiful space in Gastown, I felt like a rockstar. BUT! The real winner is the dresses…holy moly I had a hard time narrowing it down (and this was after visiting almost 10 dress shops) but at Lovenote, every dress fit so flawlessly it was a tough decision. When I did find “the one” - the team was so accommodating with customizations and suggestions. #1 Lovenote super fan! ️

Found my dream dress at Lovenote! I found Lovenote via instagram and really felt drawn to their dresses - both simplistic and detailed at the same time. One dress in particular had caught my eye, and it was the one i ended uo picking. Not only that but I had the lovely Alix taking care of me and she made the whole experience comfortable and fun! I can't wait for my big day to show off the dress of my dreams <3

Had the most lovely experience at LoveNote bridal! The store is so cute and has great selection, but not too much that it gets overwhelming. I really appreciated the attention I received and had a great time trying on dresses!

Although I didn’t end up finding my dress here, Alix made my entire experience so amazing! I never felt pressured or rushed, and she truly took the time to listen to me and my requests. This was the first bridal shop I went to, and if I am honest I was dreading dress shopping, but she took the edge off and truly made the whole process FUN! Thank you!

I had the most magical, easy, stress-free experience at Lovenote when picking out my dream wedding dress. At the start of the appointment Sarah, our stylist, provided clothes pins to put on all of the dresses that we had eyes on. It was extremely challenging, as ALL of the dresses were so stunning. Sarah was kind, attentive and so knowledgable about all of the dresses! She made me feel so comfortable the entire time. She went above and beyond during my appointment and I will be forever grateful. It was a difficult decision, as all of the dresses were made to be super flattering. I came out the appointment with my dream dress and a happy heart! Thank you for such an incredible dress shopping experience.:)

If their studio itself isn’t enough to wow you, trying on their beautiful dresses in the natural light really takes the cake. I said yes to my dress at their 2021 sample sale. Couldn’t have been a more perfect fit and their dresses are so well taken care of.

I had a consult with Gaby when she was in Vancouver. She really made me feel like a bride as we tried on the dresses! She knew exactly what I wanted, and surprised me with a dress that I didn’t even see. I can’t wait to receive my dress in the summer and revisit the studio!

I had a wonderful experience and Love note bridal, and even though I ultimately did not pick my dress here, they had some of the most stunning elegant and COMFY dresses ever. If you are going bridal shopping this shop is a MUST! They had a wonderful range of sample sizes to try on and some of the softest, most unique lace and materials I've seen, and I've been to like, 8 shops!

I visited Vancouver in December for a friend’s birthday and thought I’d take the opportunity to visit Lovenote, as I’d seen some gowns online that I loved. With my wedding only being in 2023, I wasn’t expecting to say yes to the dress that day, but I found the one with the help of Sarah the Assistant Manager, and my mother and grandmother on FaceTime! The service was exceptional and I was the only shopper with that appointment time. Sarah was a great sport in taking pictures and holding up the phone for my fam jam to see each dress! Can’t wait for my dress to arrive in May!

After 3 years of waiting, postponing and continuing to hide my dress from my SO, I can’t wait for the final reveal. There’s something for everyone with Lovenote Bride and sometimes there’s a need for 2 dresses! I loved supporting local and Gabi and her team did not disappoint!

Our experience at Lovenote was exceptional. We had a private appointment which allowed us to walk freely through the store, taking our time to look at each dress, which by the way are beautifully made by local designers. Simplicity and elegance at its finest. And best of all they carry samples for women of all sizes who are looking for their dream wedding dress. My daughter said yes to her dress and in a few weeks we will return to purchase her accessories. Highly recommend Lovenote!

I had such a lovely experience purchasing my dress at Lovenote! The shop is so cute and cozy! I had a great time trying on dresses. Sarah helped me find dresses that perfectly fit my style. I felt absolutely no pressure to make a purchase, but was given lots of attention and support. Sarah was available via email to answer my questions, and I made a second visit to purchase my dress. I can't wait to pick her up!

Amazing experience! The dresses are high quality with a good range of sizes and styles available. The consultants are nice and the studio is really cozy to make your experience a blast.

I travelled to Vancouver specifically to visit Lovenote, and had an experience that was well worth the trip. Sarah was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. As others have mentioned, the space is beautiful and relaxed - my guest and I enjoyed having the space to ourselves, and I did not feel any pressure to make a purchase. The beautiful fabrics and flattering styles make each gown feel truly one-of-a-kind. I'm looking forward to wearing my dress next year!

I had a fantastic experience at Lovenote! The dresses are stunning and SO comfortable- the website does not compare to trying them on in real life, seeing them and feeling them! Sarah was my assistant and she was so helpful, supportive and did not rush me.

I had the best bridal experience at Lovenote. I truly cannot gush enough about how amazing this experience was.

Firstly, I had the best time with Alix and Gaby. They were so thoughtful, helpful, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. They made what can be an overwhelming experience so enjoyable. Without a doubt these girls will help you find the perfect dress.

All the dresses are all so stunning and very well crafted, after trying on many dresses at other shops, it was so evident that the quality of the fabrics used at Lovenote is so superior, they are SO comfortable. They always took the time to fit me properly in the sample sizes. I was so impressed with how well they could pin the sample dresses to fit me and give me the best idea of how it would look in my size.

Also, the shop itself is just so cute, and has the BEST lighting.

I love supporting a women run business that makes dresses locally here in Vancouver.

If there is anyone you want in your bridal corner, it's the team at Lovenote, overseen by the visionary and LOVELY Gaby Bayona! These girls treated me to a fitting experience filled with excitement, honesty, empathy (they make you feel really comfortable to be transparent about what you're looking for and comfortable in). There is zero pressure, the focus is on YOUR needs!

The gowns (from all their lines) are beyond gorgeous and take your breathe away when you step into the their store. Sophisticated, sexy, COMFORABLE! There's an epic selection of curated veils, jewelry and belts - I got all the bells and whistles in one spot, which is a relief when you're planning a wedding. All communication, delivery times, fittings ran seamlessly.

My Laudae Alma is sitting patiently in my closet for our postponed wedding & I'd be lying if I said I haven't tried it on at least a dozen times - it never loses it's ability to make you feel like a total Goddess.

Dealing with Lovenote was a lovely experience from the start. The flagship store is absolutely beautiful and there are multiple gorgeous dresses to choose from. I had a great experience with Alix. She was very helpful in-store and responsive through e-mail to any questions that I had.

I love that my dress was designed and made in Vancouver. When I picked up my dress, there was a tag that said the name of the person who made the dress. This was such a great personal touch. I would recommend Lovenote and cannot wait to wear my dress!
