Loz TaKos- An Urban Taqueria

This place is run by a lovely Mexican family making very fresh, authentic food with quality ingredients. Definitely not your run of the mill quasi-Mexican mall joint. Delicious.

Tried vegetarian quesadillas. Packed with only cheese barely any veggies. Very small portion. A complete wastage of money. I could have had a healthier bowl with chicken from Opa for same money. I am never going there again. Service was nice and pleasant tho.

Burrito Bowl was not good at all.
It was not fresh.
The grilled chicken on it was not fresh and also the rice and beans. I only eat the lettuce on top of it.please don’t order it waste of money and it is a mixture of stale foods. The only 2 star I am giving is for the nice lady who got the orders.

They were tasty, but when you order the 6 tacos for Taco Tuesday, they seem to be filled with half the items as their regular 3 Taco deal.

My girlfriend and I got a burrito and burrito bowl. $28 bill for the two. Just very sad level of meat. Cheese is extra. I was half way through my burrito and barely got any meat or cheese. Same story with the burrito bowl. Just a lot of filler lettuce and rice. Would not come back.

The horchata is pretty good for Canada, definitely better then the ones that I've tried before. The flavour was good and was definitely not watered down! We also ordered tortas de al pastor, which was a major disappointment due to the fact that it didn't taste like Al pastor at all.although it did taste like carnitas. The torta was decent but there are better options out there.

Delicious as always, just missed having fresh lime to squeeze in my tacos and the hot sauce/ salsa portion is not enough unless you ask for two. But great food otherwise! Don't skimp on the little things!

The burrito was ok just ok. It wasn’t wrapped very well in fact the whole thing fell apart. The flavours were ok although I could tell they are using some sort of uncle ben's rice which wasn’t great. Apart from that service was fast and friendly. (update) Waited 25 mins for my food because they messed up the meat inside and caught it, after waiting again I realized they still got the meat wrong for the second time making it! They weren’t very busy but it looked like it was chaos in the back. 2nd chance for them and I wont be going back.

Not much for the money, wasn't even wrapped properly. Rice, beans and a piece (1 small piece) of lettuce. Seriously, nothing else.

Not good at all. Tortillas cracked in my hand (because they just warm them up 20 sec in a microwave together with the stuffing). All the meats was spicy (beef and grilled chick), although they said not. Not recommended.

The staff was very friendly and had a smile even though I came near closing. I got the super spicy hot sauce on the Taco's and it had some kick.

I like their foods. Really fresh. I forgot to take a photo. Because I couldn’t wait. I want to buy Original sauce if I can get it. I must back to Coquitlam center for Loz takos! The staff, he is really kindly also.

We came here just after they opened and it was AMAZING. We came for the second time yesterday and it was completely different. The chicken and steak in our tacos was so incredibly dry, I can only guess that it must have been very old. Maybethey're trying to save money after covid, but I'm not sure we'd risk going here again, I'm not the type to bring my food back and complain. I feel bad for business owners in this time.

Not the best taqueria in the tric cities. However you must remember you're in a mall food court. With this in mind, the quality of the tacos are exceptional. The staff are friendly have offer excellent customer service. Go on Taco Tuesdays!

Burrito, horchata and 4 tacos. The horchata tasted too mild and was missing the creamy texture. The burrito was all rice and beans and there was 0 meat, disappointing. The tacos tasted messed up.there was something so odd about them; they tasted like cleaner. Hot sauces were the only decent part.

Agree 100% with the negative reviews. Only decent part of my meal was the drink! Never going back. Worst tacos I’ve ever tasted! Cashier was obnoxious and the meat was dry as hell and unseasoned!

Probably the worst quality tacos and service I've ever experienced.

Our order was unfortunately wrong and was missing a key ingredient as advertised which we totally understand happens. Called in, and let them know about the problem on Sunday night after receiving our order. The associate tried to tell me that we were wrong so I accepted ownership and hung up the phone. After re-verifying the menu and order status, I found out that we were actually correct so I called back. The associate then told me that they would contact me back immediately. To this day, I have yet to receive a phone call regarding this issue.

Wow! Excellent customer service. I had the Baja fish bowl and it was amazing. Everything was fresh, the guacamole was so good! The gentleman working in the front, who is the owner as well offered me a taste of their Mexican drink as well. Highly recommend this little place.

Taco and burrito bowl were very fresh and tasty. The gentleman who assisted us was very helpful asking recommendations and helping with menu choices. Will definitely return.

Been going here since the opening. Unfortunately until today, the food has been great. Not only did our order take 20 minutes, the chicken quesadilla’s had only a tortilla and the chicken. Nothing else. No cheese. No sauce. No onions.no flair. Hopefully they can turn it around BEFORE This is just a short term venture.

This place just opened up replacing Arby’s - for the record I love Arbys. That aside, I also love authentic Mexican food and I tried this place out with a few Cali joints I’ve tried and also Chipotle which while not truly authentic is consistent in its quality.

Got the carnitas burrito bowl and 4 tacos (pork, chicken and 2 kinds of beef). Overall it was good, tasty and not over salted.

The bowl came with jalapeños so if you don’t like spicy make sure you ask.

For Mexican food in a food court, it’s very good and tastes like real food, not food court food. I appreciate that they also use paper straws, and paper containers.

Very good food! Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. You have to try the special drink if you are sick of soda. It is made with Coconut Milk and it is so good! We tried just about everything on the menu and the only complaint we could have is that the servings are huge! We were so full! If you want Real Mexican You will love it here!

Real mexican street tacos flavour. I choose 4 tacos; grilled steak, pulled beef, chipotle chicken, and mxn chorizo with potato. Good amount of meat in each double soft corn tortilla taco, great taste! All kind of salsas options to choose and add on. Horchata water was delicious!

Wow, very impressed with the food and service. I would recommend Loz Takos to everyone. The food is awesome & fresh and the staff are great. So glad they are at Coquitlam Center. Will be my go to food

I don’t know about Mexican food, but I like this, I had vegi burrito and it really fill me up. As vegetarians, we don’t have much choice at food court, most veggie stuff are so freakin plain but this tastes good even it’s veggie. Staffs are nice too.

I enjoyed my visit to Loz Takos. Had the carnitas and a chipotle chicken burrito and felt totally satisfied. I loved the horchata drink, which, ashamed as I am to admit, I became addicted to. Can’t wait to go back.
