Lucent Family Eye Care

Everyone was very professional from the receptionist to the doctor and the atmosphere was nice. Really great people and the doctor was very good with explaining the details about my eye exams.

Dr. Yee and her staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! The eye exam in their even included fundoscopic photography and visual field testing to help diagnose and manage eye health (if you have hypertension, diabetes, glaucoma etc.) outside of getting a prescription. I can't recommend this clinic enough and hope more can come to this clinic!

My dad always comes here. He is not someone who is easy to win over, but always feels cared for with great attitude from the staff here.

Professional Help - I have been a customer of Lucent Family Eye Care since 2015 and my eye care has been attended by Dr. Linda Yee. She is caring, thorough and professional when she conducts my eye checkup, explanation of tests and OCT (Optical coherence tomography) photos of the retina and, suggestion of glasses correction. At one time, on short notice, Dr. Yee spent time to examine the severity of a blood shot in my eye and provided feedback that the eye pressure is fine. She eased my mind that this is like bruise and the situation can happen at times.

Staff - I found the staff A_ _ _ _, L_ _ _, L_ _ _. Are always very friendly. I like to mention particularly about the optical technician A_ _ _ _. Whether he is following through with the glass prescription, choice of frames, adjustment of glasses on face etc, he has that added touch to make sure your glasses is a perfect fit for you with his experience, skillful hands and patience, very exceptional and commendable customer-focused service.

Office - the place is neat and organized. It strikes you that choices of spectacles are abundant. I also noticed throughout the years checkup machines are continually upgraded to make the testing as non-invasive and efficient as well.

Was recommended by my landlady. Both Dr Linda and Aaron are very professional and helpful. Dr Linda provided many tips for dry eyes. From style recommendation, lens type explanation, to quality check on the final product, Aaron made sure that I got a perfect pair of new glasses. Really appreciate it!

I absolutely do not recommend this place for people who have any kind of mental health challenges as they are not aware or cooperative in this manner. People with depression and mental health issues can, and will cancel appointments with short notice as challenges can come up. This office does not like or understand people with mental health issues.

This clinic was a wonderful experience for me. The staff and authorities at this facility are very kind, professional, and upbeat. They guided me in making the appropriate decision by explaining the various features and functions of different products. This facility's eye examination division is equipped with highly sophisticated and professional devices, as well as a superbly skilled and kind doctor. Dr. Linda Lee explained all my eye test results calmly and sympathetically. Dr Linda was very thorough with the eye exams. She was very professional and explained everything in details about the health of my eyes. Aron the optician on site provided great customer service and assisted amazingly in showing a perfect style of frames that worked best for me.

Dr Yee is a very thorough and detailed optometrist. She is very patient with little ones also. LFEC should be your goto place for your family eye care.

I had my appointment rescheduled without proper notice. I decided to go to another clinic in New West at 6th and 6th, and I am never coming back.

Definitely 5 start to Lucent Eye Care Family. I had my full eye exam and it was a really nice experience. Dr. Linda answered all of my question gracefully and her work flow was very seamless. I had a eye injured 4-5 year ago and needed regular checkups. But, to be honest, I couldn't find doctor or optometrists that are both nice in providing service and good at what they do. So, after seeing 100+ 5 Start reviews of this clinic, I gave it a shot and it turned out very well.

She was comfortable in taking pictures of my retina again on my request, which I definitely know some optometrists wouldn't do at all. Also, I think I took more of her time because I needed to get my eyes dilated and we found that I needed to see an eye specialist M. D.for further look. But, I know some places that heavily relies on machine and picture and misses things like this.

She informed me about the health and supplements that I could take, and later the report she sent me had everything that I talked about. I don't know how she prepared such a great report! Go Linda!

So, if you are looking for a eye exam or any services this location provides I can assure you that you won't be disappointed!

PS. I found Lucent means bright and shiny as per Dr. Linda which is just like her.

The best doctor ever. My little one went here for checking up. My little one is usually very anxious but Dr Linda Yee was so patience to help my daughter calm down. Amazing staffs too. 1. Care of Dr. Yee - - Besides the meticulous examination and prescribing new lens, I had another checkup afterwards due to a sudden blood shot in my left eye. On short notice, her staff Lindsay and Dr. Yee spent additional time to examine the severity of the situation and provided feedback that the eye pressure is fine, a blood vessel had burst and there is no blood into the eye. She eased my mind that this is like bruise and the situation can happen at times.

2. Care of Staff - Technical staff Lindsay, Lynn & Mary who I met are friendly, competent and helpful. There is a welcoming atmosphere in the Eye Care Centre.

The team at Lucent is friendly, caring, helpful and professional. Throughout the eye exam process everything is explained and the technician makes you feel 'at home'. Just got two new pairs of eye glasses - one for distance and one for reading. Both work well. The staff are very friendly and pleasent to interact with. All are very competent. Dr. Yi provided a lot of eye health information. Overall very pleased.

I have been going here for over a year now. I have had two eye exams, and met with Dr. Luv both times. I believe they have the most up to date equipment and Dr. Lui always explains everything very well and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed. I recently bought my first pair of frames and lenses here and after ordering them and picking them up-called to let them know I wasn’t happy with the frames I personally chose, they accepted them back for a direct exchange and re-sent out another frame for new lenses at no extra cost. I’m very satisfied and will definitely be continuing to do business with them!

A very good experience with this clinic! Their ultra modern testing equipment produced such accurate and detailed results without the need to dilate my pupils saving me from not being able to read for the rest of the day. I learned so much amazing detail about my own eyes in one visit.

Dr. Linda Yee was so thorough on both my wife and my recent eye exams. She explained everything is such detail which is unlike any eye exams we have had elsewhere in the past. All of Linda's staff were efficient, polite and friendly. The store is neat, organised and stocked with a vast selection of eyeglasses.

I am thankful Liza moved to this clinic and got to know Dr. Linda. I went here last March 23,2019 for a second opinion on my eye condition and scheduled procedure. The experience was excellent, eye test was thorough and used state of the art facilities. Staff and clinic atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I had an eye infection in last couple weeks and the over counter eye drops did not help.
I called Lucent Family Eye Care last Monday at 8.50am. The reception lady is extremely nice and helpful to book an appointment to fit me in at 11.15am despite of the whole day has been fully booked.
Dr. Linda Yee took time and checked me out and explained in details, then gave me a prescription.
She is excellent service, professional, and very friendly.

Dr. Linda and the staffs are awesome. My family and I really love going to this eye clinic. They are so efficient with their job and very caring people towards our needs. I am always recommending this place to my friends as my family recommends them to us.

Been going here for years now and it has always been very professional, fun and friendly. Dr. Linda has always listened to my concerns and she explains every exam, result, pictures and the importance of health in detail. Meanwhile, her staff has always been thoughtful and very informative. They suggest products and items but will never push you to get it. Dr. Linda's clinic is very detailed and very organized everytime my family and I go. Highly recommended.
