Glad I went. (Sadly I almost skipped going after reading all the negative reviews.)
The testing done here verifies what my previous allergist missed. The doctor was professional, courteous and knows his stuff. He was spot on with my breathing issues and current drug interactions.
He gave me the option of getting shots, but I felt no pressure to do so. Completely my choice (which I will likely opt for.)

Certainly he is brisk in his assessment, but I would rather have a specialist that knows their field and skip the hand-holding. The medical system is stretched right now, so best with all doctors and specialists to have your notes, questions, and concerns jotted down before you arrive. In fact you could even note them on the intake forms.

If you want a warmer, more cordial experience, I suppose one could go to my previous allergist. They were very pleasant, but from my perspective the testing done at the other allergist was not done correctly. Nothing was identified, only mild reactions.

As noted in the pictures with the testing done at Dr Luciuk's office I have some notably severe reactions to a few allergens.

This doctor is very strict with regard to Covid protocols, so if you are adverse to mask wearing, then best go to another specialist.

This practice doesn’t even deserve a star because everything about this clinic is sloppy and disorganized. I felt like I was put on a conveyor belt and moved from room to room with no real answers or help. My allergy test was sloppy with no proper markings of the allergens and what they are. I was not informed of the allergens that I’m allergic to and they stole over $900.00 from me for injections that I never received also they never emailed me or called just took my money. I felt rushed during the test and after to sign up for the therapy injections and all I was, was a number and someone to take money from. Never will I ever trust this crooked doctor’s office! I’m no further ahead of understanding eczema or or allergies. I feel I have had better help googling!
Not to mention a waist of time driving all the way out to Richmond.
He needs to be shutdown for fraud!

He told me my baby has severe eczema because he had food allergy (he only drink milk at that time). He asked me to go on food elimination diet for him because he is taking my breast milk. I later saw another pediatric allergist telling me feeding my baby breast milk actually lower the risk of him having food allergy and my food elimination diet cannot help with identifying his allergens. My baby's weight fell below 15th percentile because my milk supply dropped so much when i went on food elimination diet. His ezcema did not improve at all even i followed all his recommendation.

I've been here many times over the past 7 years and I can't understand all the negative reviews. Efficient, on time and usually out of there faster than they say.

I have seen dr.luciuk, in past and last year again, same skin tests before same recommendation which it did not work for me.he wants you to purchase your medication and anti allergy protection from the pharmacy below his office, which is very expensive compared to outside stores

Yes it’s hard to get an appointment and you’ll see him for only 10 minutes a year but he’s also incredibly nice and understanding and his immunotherapy course really improved my quality of life.

I read the reviews on here so didn’t have great expectations going in about his manner. I was very pleasantly surprised. I brought in my 7yr old daughter and Dr Luciuk was super friendly. He joked about maybe being allergic to school and overall just had a very friendly outlook.

The testing itself was quick and efficient. He went over the results after. I would say he could come across a little monotone while going through the results but really not an issue.

I recently had an allergy testing procedure performed by Dr. George Luciuk and his team, and I can't recommend their service highly enough. For anyone in need of allergy testing, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. George Luciuk. His proficient team and he have created a truly patient-centered healthcare environment that delivers quality care with a personal touch.

I saw Luciuk 10 years ago. If there was another allergy specialist in Richmond, I would go. Unfortunately, Luciuk is the only one. If you can go to Vancouver or Burnaby, I recommend that you do so.

His is rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. If you disagree or question, he shouts and condescends. I’m shocked at his penchant for SHOUTING.

If you do not ask questions, and put him on a pedestal, then he is at his best. This was the experience at my 1st appointment. The follow today (up a year later) was horrible. His communication worsened with each minute. I ended the appointment and walked out.

The office staff is polite both on the phone and in-person. This is not a friendly office but, to be fair, the staff are exceptionally busy.

Helped figure out what my allergies where however did it in a condescending and impatient manner. The nurses were amazing however the dr I found was rude and abrupt with no bedside manner.

I have been seeing Dr Luciuk for close to 20 years (yearly testing, etc) and I find that his knowledge and treatments have worked great to assist me with my multiple allergies. I really Like Dr Luciuk and I appreciate his directness and efficiency. He and his staff are on time and quick to respond to any request. Believe me, I have demanded many clarification and assistance over the years (for me and my son) and they have always quickly assisted me with all I needed & more. It’s sad that some base their judgement on how much a person “smiles” or how “gentle mannered” they are, rather then how good at their job/knowledgeable and efficient they are. I recommend Dr Luciuk to anyone who is looking for quality/knowledge rather then niceties/pleasantries.

I was not too sure what to expect with my application after reading all the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. George Luciuk was nothing but polite and helpful. He asked all the questions that were needed and helped me out greatly. Don't listen to all the other reviews, he was great! I would recommend him!

I went in worried after reading his reviews. I am absolutely shocked that people give him bad reviews. He was cordial and nice. Good personality and normal. The reviews make him out to be a grumpy man with no bed side manner. I have no complaints about Dr. Luciuk and with his skills and qualifications I am glad I went to see him.

I did the testing which was $50 and came away with results in a matter of 1.5 hrs. The receptionists and technicians were exceptional.

Doctor needs to seek help from another physician.

I have a lot of respect for this doctor. He's extremely smart, upfront and was one of the only health care professionals I knew that kept treating patients all through COVID since he recognized the importance of consistent immunotherapy to help his patients maintain a stronger immune system through a pandemic. I can appreciate how some might find him dismissive and brief, but as someone who works in healthcare I see him sort of like the 'Einstein' of the Immunotherapy world. He might not have the best social skills, but he sure knows what he's talking about and really does care. Lastly, he's one of the only doctors I've ever had that has stressed the importance of exercise and diet in order to get the maximum benefits from a treatment. I was able to get my life back through his treatments and allergy shot series!

Knows what he’s doing, if you want experience and expertise go to this guy. If you want somebody to sugar coat your existence, don’t go. Educated and down to the point.
