Great food, and lots of it (almost too much, we couldn't finish it all!). Friendly, helpful staff.

Very gross, not only the food the resturant was extremely dirty and so were the servers and cooks.
Wearing sweat pants and an apron covered in paint and Croc shoes. Looking behind the counter and into the kitchen, it was so bad, messy and dirty and very unorganized.

Food was warm like it was pre-made and microwaved.

Server was extremely rude. I paid after our horrible meal and of course she didn't deserve a tip.

I don't know how this place is still in business.

Ok. I'm from an Asian family from Vancouver and so I'm use to top notch Chinese food.

Lucky house is not that. But it is also not fast food or burgers or standard roadhouse fair.

If you want something with an Asian flair then this will satisfy you. But it will not be a memory making meal.

If you are on the road this is a good choice. Safe, quickish and filling.

Awesome Chinese food. Freshly homemade fluffy deep fried wontons and the chicken balls were homemade too.what a delicious treat after a long day of driving. Valemount is lucky to have such wonderful Chinese food.yum

GROSS NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. The rug needed to be vacuum big time, almond chicken had no almonds, chicken wings, way over battered, and under cook, she was going to charge a $1.00 for a slice of lemon in my water. My spicy sweet and sour pork had no peppers, or onions like the picture on the wall. She never welcomed us in the restaurant when we sat down, she just gave us menus. When we went to pay the bill she told us a total, but she said to us, that does not included the tip, I was very shocked and surprised she even said that wow. I will never eat here again. Don't waste your money

Terrible food, I never had these kind of bad Chinese food, totally disappointed, don't go there. I am a Chinese, they don't know how to cook Chinese food. Place is dirty and the dress of the man server is dirty, I feel their kitchen is also dirty. I didn't take the left over because it's not worth to do it. Owner please don't defense.

Food portions very good. Make sure to go hungry if planning to this restaurant. Beer prices are very high.

Lucky house is a wonderful little spot in valemount, great food, fast and good service, nice staff, cozy, good tea

I’ve been living in Valemount for nearly two years I had given up on the Chinese food, I got invited to friends for Chinese meal and wow what a improvement especially the deep fried chicken wings the best I have had.

The absolute worst experience of my 40 years of trucking throughout North America.
The owner was argumentative angry and offensive, I was the only person in there and the service was lax and when I gave the server my order it was not put in to the kitchen at all because he didn't even speak English at all and when I asked where my order was the owner started yelling at me like a crazy woman.
Would rather eat cold green beans then EVER darken their doorway again!
Can not stress enough how bad it was, should have their license revoked and shut down permanently!

Chicken wings were so over cooked we could not eat them. There was only a thin strip of chicken in the Almond chicken. It was so over cooked it was crunchy. The beef in the ginger beef tasted old.

Don't order online, made my order online, showed up 10 minutes after the time it said it would be ready and was told I had to wait 20 minutes because they were "busy".

This is a very special Chinese restaurant in North BC, and tastes very delicious!

Portions are very big with full tummies, tastes delicious!

Great customer service, and with a large parking lots.

Recommended for big group to enjoy Chinese foods, and chit chat here!

Stopped here for gas station. And checked in for kids lunch
48$ for a chow mein and shrimp. Not said earlier that they would not take credit card. And the cashier was aiming to convert 1: 1 Canadian To US dollar rate.

Time for food anywhere. After that the order was messed up and had to wait for the right one. 1.5 hrs waste for a food to throw in trash.

Rude, took our American $ and didn’t reimburse as if we didn’t know the exchange rate. Do yourself a favor and skip this joint.

Food is great. Haven't been there for a while but they still knew me and what I usually have.

The food is cooked fast, just the way I like it, and the staff are really nice too. Every time I come through the town I'm going to stop and grab a bite to eat.

Food is great, big portions, very friendly staff. The war wonton soup had so much meat and veggies. Definitely going to try other things while working here.

Driving through town and stopped in. Ordered the chicken chow mein. No chicken, no one came to ask how everything was. When I went to pay I told the gal that there was no chicken. She just said sorry. Could have easily been fixed, as I still had over half a dish. Literally broken up noodles. One pea (literally one pea) and no meat.
No toilet paper in the washroom.

I have been coming here for almost a year now, I'm a long haul driver, and have had nothing but good service from the friendly hostess. The wor won ton soup is really good and filling, it keeps me coming back. I will recomend it

Chinese food was just ok not that great and the staff has English communication issues we asked for strict vegetarian soup they added eggs in it.

I ordered some fried rice a few days ago with some pork. It cost me roughly $50 with taxes. The food was good however, for that price you are better off going to the Caribou în town for quality service and great food.

Overall very disappointing and overpriced. Will not be stopping in again

Great discovery while in town for work. Fast, friendly and good food most importantly. Not many places open durring lunch at this time, but happy with my find. I hope you enjoy it too. Will definitely come back for 2nd's
