Lucky Supermarket

Lucky market is clean, organized and has a variety of collections of Indian, halal food items.
There are more halal options than in other super stores.
Price is Ok, not the cheapest.
There is a lot of parking space available.

Overall not a bad experience.

All sorts of things to see and taste at great prices too Boot and if you have any questions please ask.

Terrible, they have a limit on how many baguettes you can buy. Remind me of communist countries where foods rationing is happening at every supermarket.

Best Asian supermarket in the LMD. Great subs, bbq meats and food options as well. Wish they were a chain.

I was amazed by the sheer volume of produce and vegetarian sauces that were available here. Came for the sauce, stayed for the bánh mì. Tucked away in the front corner of the store, you'll find the counter that sells banging Bánh mì. Treat yourselves.
10/10 would eat the Bánh mì again.

A supermarket that seems to be managed by South Asians. Good place to try out some South Asian specialty foods.

Had to empty my pockets to prove I didn't shop lift really pathetic only place in all of the lower mainland that does now I know not to shop where they support pan handlers

Excellent quality and price on meat. Great selection of halal meat. Lots of South East Asian sauces and pastes that i can't find at other asian super markets. Great prices on produce. Awesome selection on frozen treats.

This is a very asian market. You won't find typical western fresh herbs here.

Friday June 18 as I was shopping at Lucky Supermarket as I was going to pay at the counter my Black hoodie touched the counter and instantly had bleach on it I saw you guys were using the Chlorinated Cleaner, the substance you guys use is unsafe and could cause harm like it did to my clothing that day. I also talk to Steph and I gave my contact information and they said that the Supervisor is on vacation and would be back on Monday June 21 and will get in contact with me. A couple days later still no response so I went in today Saturday June 26 and talked to Quynh and Emily and they gave me your email and told me to message you about the situation, I feel like no one knows what to do and there’s many supervisors there that don’t have any experience it’s been more than 1.5 months now that no one has contacted me back even when I call they said they will get right back to me but nothing yet. Really bad customer service and whenever I walk in all the workers just look at me and start talking to each other in there own languages. Really unprofessional

Produce freshness is hit an miss and layout is quite packed which narrows the aisles to bare minimum. However, selection of Asian flavors is enticing and service is decent.

Bought an item for sale but not updated on the computer yet. It was rectified but there was a 7 min wait.

Alternative grocery for hard to find Asian items. Good prices on veggies. Excellent selection on fresh meats. Also in-house pho and fresh subs.

Really cheap and good bang mi. Cheaper than a Subway foot long and tastes way better too. Their bakery section has really good breads too; I can eat them straight out of the bag without any condiments or spreads

Okay for local shopping but fresh veg sometimes looks a bit tired. Stocks everything expected of a supermarket and has an asian focused seafood and meat department.

What i like in Lucky is that they have Halal section with varieties to chose from. So I recommend Lucky Supermarket those who are looking for halal groceries.

Friendly staff and fresh produce. It's never crazy busy and I always find whatever Asian related groceries that I need. They also have the best French baguettes (short and long) baked fresh daily. Crispy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside.

Really great wide selection of Asian, Philippines, and South Asian groceries, with ready to eat food section and Viet subs.

Although sometimes you find the placements of stuff a little odd, overall okay.

Very big store. I usually go when it's off hours so it's usually empty or less crowded.

Asian super market has many Eastern vegetation, spices and sauce.

The only thing I wouldn't recommend here is the seafood section. The Butcher argue with me if the lobster was dead, said it was sleeping.

Nice spot to buy groceries - especially vegetables. All veggies are fresh and surprisingly cheap.

Great overall experience. Lots of variety only problem is a few times homeless guys walks in out of no where and starts taking food. They need better security to keep customers and staff safe.

You can find almost all of asian foods. Clean, neat. Reasonable price. They have sales off one - two days per week. Definitely will return

A very nice addition in Surrey. Courteous & helpful staff much better than T&T. It carries a lot of varieties - both Western & Asian.

However, I found most of the produce that were on sales were moldy & rotten; Pricing on Western products tend to be on the high side; dirty shopping trolleys; lack of variety of fresh seafood - don't see any European Branzino (European sea bass) comparing to T&T.

The Lucky Submarine Vietnamese sandwich is the worst - which has the low quality deli meat and lots of fat in it.

I have not tried their BBQ & hot food sections yet. But I would love to give it a try.

It would be excellent if the store provides sanitary wipes for shoppers @ store entrance!

Very good subs options at vietnamese restaurant area which I prefer than subway. Very good costumer service and food is better than TNT food for my taste.

Looking for halal meat butcher! This is it.halal butcher available. More Asian food and spices. Convenient for parking.

I will never come back to this racist supermarket! An Indian security guard only requires Asian customers to store backpacks at the front desk, but ignores all Canadian customers.

The price of fruits and vegetables here is one of the best if not the best in the region. There are similar vegetables with vastly different pricing, so you need to make sure you are not billed for the wrong items at checkout.

Nice new store, with really good selection of items that are not available in TNT supermarket. Some hard to find Japanese products are here as well. Prices are good but not that good on vegetables. Sales are really excellent though I've seen some products at half the price of TNT on sale. Bakery is weak, need more fresh in house baked goods. Meat dept.is good. The one issue i found is many products have expired. I found some items that expired in February still on the shelf. Looks like they hire a rounded staff of different backgrounds which is nice.

New Asian market. I like how neat and organized it was on my first visit. I think it has most Asian ingredients you’ll need. It also has pho and quick snacks on the go

Great place to shop for all your Asian delights/needs. Prices are comparable. Their vietnamese sandwiches are awesome. Go try one!

Small new park, not too far from city center. Just for the neighborhood. Not big enough for group picnic. Just one or 2 families

It is vietnamese market. I tru to support them. Beside of good of vegetable and afforable price, their meat or fish is not fesh enough.

Great place to shop! Before I used to go to tnt all the time. Now it is Lucky market. Many things are cheaper than tnt and store is cheaper overall.

Competitive pricing but often I find the produce to be less fresh. They do have good deals on fruits.

I think the checkout place used repurposed target equipment from back in the days. Same colour scheme.
