Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait with the volume of people in there but it’s worth it! The shop uses clean tools and each pedicure basins are freshly lined everytime someone new sits down. Best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Linda has an eye for picking out colours to match your skin tone and always goes above and beyond working around my schedule.

A long time customer who was very satisfied until today, I got a pedicure and they did not soak my feet prior to cutting and trimming. (she was in a rush) all of my toes bled. I have never had this happen before.

I have gone to this salon since I moved out here for school but the last few appointments I have had I scheduled and I would wait 15-20 minutes. Today I tried coming in at my appointment time and I got asked to sit down and no one helped me for 30 minutes. Unfortunate, I like their work but they don’t respect peoples times they take out if their day to come here evidently.

Third time here doing a mani pedi. Friendly and quick service. Did 2 as booked appointments and 2 as a walk in. Both times wad seen quickly. Loved my nails today

Today only pedicures they over charge me it says special at the door for $21 then they charge me $34 and I gave hair 5 tips? !

I'VE JUST HAD THE WORST PEDICURE EVER!
This is my first time writing a negative review for anywhere, and I've written many reviews.
I finally had time to treat myself to a mani/pedi and went to Luminous nails, where I've always had great service.
I had a very young man doing my pedicure. It didn't seem like he knew what he was doing, but I thought I would give him a chance because everyone has to start somewhere, right?
I won't belabour you with the whole thing, but I ended up with rough edges around my toes (no attempt to remove or tend to calusses, rough cuticles, polish was poorly applied and all over my toes, with a bad scrape across my big toe. He slathered lotion all over the front of my shins and barely rubbed it in, stopping short of just above my toes. I had to ask that he include my toes in the massage. He complained to the manicurist who was doing my hands. He was SO not into doing this service.
I did complain and the manager nodded saying "I know, I know", but when I got to the till, I saw that I was being charged for the pedicure! I let them know that I shouldn't be paying at all, and she knocked $10 off. I will need to get them redone elsewhere and I'm blown away that they didn't apologize and not charge me.
Blown away. I could have kicked up a public fuss, but that's not my way. She didn't care if I didn't go back. It was an awful experience and I left feeling angry, frustrated and used. Not at All my usual feeling after a mani/pedi.

Friendly staff and they did a good job for my mani-pedi. Lots of colours to choose from and comfortable seats. I paid a little over $50 for it and am pleased with the result. I would recommend coming here. The only thing I would change is their website.it is truly horrible. It gives little to no information on it.

Today I received a full set of acrylics from Annie. She was FANTASTIC! Great Customer Service Attitude, Fast, Talented. I've never had such Beautifully shaped nails. I will be making Luminous Nails My permanent Nail Salon. Absolutely LOVE the shape of My nails.

I got my nails done today, and Lin was sooo kind to take me in, she took her time to get my nails done and she was very sweet! I will totally come back again next week. I LOVE my nails! Thankyou Lin!

Saw the board outside the salon which says they do eyebrow waxing… but they do not have basic knowledge on how to shape and clean it. She ruined my eyebrows (one being higher than the other) which took a long time for me to fix since it is my most delicate hair. Didn’t even bother to put lotion after all the pulling. Terrible experience!

Good service with decent pricing. Just wish they wouldn't bluntly ask for a tip, since that makes it very awkward

Shellac polish hasn’t even lasted for two days. Got my bails done on Saturday, today it’s already coming off. On some fingers the polish started to “bubble”. Never had this problem before. Maybe it’s not the salon’s problem, but just a bad service from a particular employee. Still not worth even one star considering the overall experience from being there.
