The experience was great. They made me feel very comfortable and confident despite being neither typically. The images were also great and it was super hard to narrow down what ones to get. This is my third time doing boudoir and they definitely know what they are doing.

I had the most amazing experience during my photoshoot with Lux. They make you feel so comfortable and gorgeous. The photos absolutely blew my mind. I can't say enough about what an amazing experience this was. I instantly felt safe by the warm presence of everyone including the amazing photographer which helped me enjoy the session to its fullest. I was guided perfectly on how to pose and the location itself is gorgeous. My only problem is I had too many pics to choose from that I loved. Hands down will tell everyone I know to come here.

It was an amazing experience. I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment I walked in. Hair and make-up was done beautifully and just as I had asked for. I had full input on all photos being taken and any suggestions being made to me turned out wonderful. My phots turned out amazing and my boyfriend was speechless when I showed him the finished product. If you are thinking of a boudoir shoot, I would highly highly recommend Lux Boudoir!

I first discovered Lux Boudoir at a Women's Wellness show in Abbotsford 3 years ago. I did my 1st one 2 years ago on my milestone birthday. I didn’t even recognize myself with my hair and makeup done up. I was so nervous. Kari was incredible. She made you feel so confortable. I felt like I’ve known her for a long time.she would show you what photo poses to do and was very patient. I definitely came out of my ‘shy state’ zone - I felt sexy and I’ve gained a lot confidence. The photos were absolutely stunning. My 2nd boudoir shoot was just 4 1/2 months ago - again on my birthday. My hair and makeup was done by Lindsay. Kari did my boudoir photoshoot and this time I totally went out of my comfort level. I had so much fun - I felt so beautiful, sexy and alive.the photos were very expensive.but worth every penny ️. Would I do this again. ABSOLUTELY!

I had my first ever boudoir shoot and I could not have chosen a better place! Hair and Makeup were perfection! My photographer was an absolute doll and she was very good at getting me into the right spot and pose. It was super fun! I was so comfortable the whole time. I honestly never thought I would be that okay/not self-conscious wearing nothing! I had so much fun and I cannot wait to get my photos! It was an absolute must do so if you have not done one of these boudoir things then you need to book with Lux.

At first I was hesitant to do a Boudoir photoshoot but after entering the studio with Kari and her team, I felt very comfortable and don’t regret any minute. I felt super empowered and saw the experience as a way to celebrate my body, flaws and all. I was blown away by my pictures and still to this day have moments where I look at the pictures and think “Is that me? ”. I highly recommend the Lux Boudoir Photography experience and am so thankful to have had this experience myself. Thank you Kari and team, I will be back for my 30th birthday!

I was very nervous about doing this kind of photo shoot, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and relaxed the session was. I had the time of my life doing the shoot and my photos came out amazing. I am planning to go back on my 50th for another session. I highly recommend the ladies of Lux. They make you feel amazing and they are great at what they do. Keep up the great job ladies. And as for the cost. It’s worth every single dime. It’s an investment that never gets old and looks great no matter where you keep it. ️️

Such a great studio, the staff are so patient and kind during the photoshoot! They really do take the clients needs and wants into consideration and take time to figure out the best way to help you. Such a lovely experience overall cant recommend them enough

I had such an amazingly fun experience at Lux! I had Lindsay as both my makeup artist and photographer and she was so easy going and made me felt super comfortable during the photo shoot. The photos came back amazing and I'm so happy I had these done. Highly recommended!

The Lux team is undoubtedly THE PREMIERE boudoir photography team in Vancouver. The entire process from the very thorough preparatory emails, answering just about any and every question you could possibly dream up about your session, to the moment I walked in the door of the studio, to the day I returned to choose photos from my album, every detail is first class. My make-up artist listened to my vision and brought it to life. Kari is a thoughtful, fun and gifted photographer who made me feel like an absolute goddess. Chantal, her assistant was instrumental in helping me curate the perfect boudoir album, and helped me appreciate myself in ways I didn't think I could. Honestly, I cannot wait to do another shoot next year with Lux.

I enjoyed my session. It was fun and surprisingly very comfortable. I love my photos. They look super gorgeous. Looking like a queen, feeling like a queen. I highly recommend Lux Portrait.

MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BUYING A VACATION TO HAWAII! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

HUGE WARNING: they charge over $1000 even for just 4 digital photo copies AFTER the cost of your photoshoot alone which is well over $400.
They have packages of over 10G just to buy copies afterwards. It’s highly expensive- more expensive than my wedding photography. And all for the same quality as other much more reasonably expensed studios.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
I only found out AFTER I paid for my photoshoot that I couldn’t even afford the digital copies. So I didn’t even get my product in the end.

My experience with Lux was so amazing and empowering. Chantal, Kari, and Lindsay were incredibly warm and made me feel so comfortable the whole time. I could not be happier with how the photos turned out! The studio is beautiful, they pay so much attention to detail, and it’s truly worth every single penny. It was a major confidence booster for me and I think that every woman should have this experience. My husband can’t stop looking through the photos. We’re very, very happy. Money well spent:)

What an experience. I was pretty nervous, even before I made the booking and definitely nervous by the time I stood outside the studio doors. BUT I thought, this is for me and I'm going to do it.

One of the best decisions I made. I now have a beautiful set of photographs that are mine - forever. This was an early 30th birthday present for myself and I'm so glad I did it. Lindsay made me feel totally comfortable. She put on my favourite music, asked me what style I'm more comfortable with, got me dolled up and feeling super confident. She got me to pose in positions I didn't know I could do and they turned out amazing.

Such a great way to empower yourself and love your body. If you're hesitating like I did, just do it. You'll love every minute of it.

I’ve had three shoots now in total with Lux and I couldn’t be happier with all of my experiences.
Lindsay and Kari made me feel so at home in their studio and I think feeling so comfortable is what made my photos turn out so great!
The natural light they have is super flattering too so it’s hard not to get great shots, but they’re also really good at helping you pose to best suit your body and make you feel confident. They really know how to make the most out of your time with them.

I was originally just going to get one photo to frame, but I ended up purchasing a package because I loved all of my photos so much! For someone who felt very camera shy I feel like they brought out the best in me and I would definitely shoot with them again. Thanks ladies!

A MUST for every woman! Absolutely had the best time at Lux with the girls! Got my hair and make up done by them, and they made me feel like such a Queen for the day! I was a little nervous, never doing a boudoir shoot before, but, as it is for the everyday woman - the girls are pros at making you feel comfortable, and showing you how to pose in the most flattering ways for your body which was great! I've worked with Lux Portraiture twice now and would not hesitate to work with these boss babes again! The boudoir experience is made so much easier with Lindsay (both hair stylist/makeup artist AND photographer!). That gal can do it all! Lux was my first boudoir experience ever, so I was super nervous about it. But Lindsay explained everything beforehand, so they're were no surprises. Also, she helps with posing, which means every photo looks incredible! I couldn't decide which ones I wanted in the end! So if you've been thinking about a boudoir session, hit up Lux Portraiture - you will not regret it!

I couldn't have imagined a more comfortable and wonderful, excellent and fun experience. The hair and makeup was stunning, they helped out alot with picking the best outfits and shoes. The photographer makes you feel so comfortable and she helps you pose and all the shoots came out AMAZING! Definitely worth every penny. Not to mention the confidence boost you get! If your doing it for a gift for someone or even for yourself, you will definitely not be disappointed!
