Amazing park and center to get to know more about the information and knowledge about the Birds, environments, etc. It's free of entry. Paid parking only available on site.
What a nice ecological area to walk. Suspension bridge gives more light to attraction of the area. Encourage hiking, and there is an interesting natural pool too
Beautiful well kept location. Got some great pictures and there was no admissions fees. Only downside was it was a little busy, but there was still plenty of parking.
The hike was beautiful - all the water and green. But it was a little mundane for us. It was very touristy and was completely constructed so you hardly have to even touch dirt while there, and everything is fenced off. I prefer hikes where you feel immersed in nature, but that's just my opinion. If you go, do try to go early to avoid the massive crowds.
Great place to visit. Get own sandwiches because food is not cheap. Be cautious and don't approach the edges of the pools. This place has claimed couple dozens of human beans. Buy selfie sticks for making photos close up to the edge.
I love this place! A lot more quiet compared to other tourist hotspots in Vancouver. There's trails, waterfalls, lakes, rockpool plus a suspension bridge (albeit much smaller than Capilano but just as fun with amazing views of the river below). Highly recommended
This is the suspension bridge locals go to. And the cost? It's free. Hike down the pTh for 10 minutes and you will reach the pool where the kids dive into the cold waters from melted snow. If you like to venture more, keep hiking around the top. I went on once and heard a cougar drop growl. No mistake. A human could not have made it that deep and the bass! Come here on the really hot days and bring a towel to wipe your feet after you dip it in the cold crystal clear stream.
I have been a number of times with family and wherever we have guest's and always find more information to catch up on. It is so well done and great for all ages from small to old. The st up is interesting and informative and the models so well done. If you are in the area or are visiting the fantastic suspension bridge which we feel is underrated do make a effort to stop in at the ecology center it will be well worth the visit
I don't know much about this place except for the forest around it. The forest is amazing! And it's so close to civilization. I recommend a nice walk or run all year long
The ecology centre looks small but they pack a lot of interactive exhibits in. There is also a small gift shop. We stopped in after our hike but should have stopped there first as it might have helped us identify more plants and animals while hiking.
Beautiful trails, not suitable if you have a stroller or wheelchair due to the steep stairs. Views of canyon are amazing. Parking can get crazy at time though, so plan journey accordingly.
Absolutely beautiful, free to go to and hike around, and easily accessible from downtown Vancouver. Also the suspension bridge is just as good as capilano. But. FREE. Also a good little ecology centre where a friendly woman told me all about the bears there. Great day:)
