It was so delicious and I ate well.
Like a restaurant, I wrote my name and number on the waiting list and waited and went in, but it was so delicious.
The staff treated me very kindly, and I think I will visit again since I have a lot of time to stay in Vancouver in the future?

We had a few different meals here, and I loved every single one of them. The rice cake was amazing, and so was the Bulgogi. The service was fast and friendly despite the restaurant being very busy.

Delicious, full of flavor and great portions! Our second time here and it was better than the first time!

Absolutely love this place! We go once a week and have never been disappointed! Food was yummy and fresh. The male servers are always polite and efficient. I choose this restaurant because they make excellent side dishes.

Their jungol / hotpot with octopus and beef was soooo satisfying. M was for 2 people, L for 3

I loved it here, foods were amazing.great portion that we can enjoy more dishes. The seafood pancake was really good. We left 2 slides so took them back to hotel. The next day they were still delicious after 2 mins in the pan.

The place is tiny but very well arranged. The waitress was so kind and lovely too. I enjoyed it a lot here.

Its location right on the street where there are tons of other restaurants.

One of the best meal I had in Vancouver this time. Definitely recommend! Even though you have to wait for a bit but totally worth the wait

Terrible experience I put my name twice on the list and double checked all my contact info and it’s correct because when I came back the first time they skipped me and so I input my name again just in case they did not see it however no one called me again and was skipped again. Will never recommend to anyone and suggest not to eat here. Not sure whether they are racist?

My favourite Korean restaurant in Vancouver

로히드 살지만 마당골 먹으러 단탄까지 갈만큼 맛있어요. 다 맛있지만 특히 매운 삼겹살 너무 좋아해요.

I was unexpectedly delayed in Vancouver and decided to make a day out of it visiting Stanley Park, riding a horse drawn carriage. I was really hungry and decided to try out Ma Dang Goul as I had a hankering for Korean food. I ordered their Yangnyum Chicken. It is a deep fried chicken dish covered in sweet, spicy sauce, scattered with chopped peanuts. It was exactly what I wanted and the taste didn't disappoint. Very crunchy and they increased the spiciness for me, which made me really happy. Great service, great food. So glad i came here!

Great quality & authentic Korean food, efficient service, reasonable prices and friendly staff - we’ll be back! This is one of those hole in the wall restaurants worth trying for sure. The menu has a wide range of Korean meals including shared plates, soups, BBQ, noodle dishes and more. The bibimbap and kimchi tofu soup were very good!

So darn good. The kimchi soup was so hot and sour and spicy, it made my day. Love this place.

Excellent food n service. Owner was so kind to let us in. Especially under cold weather. We tot they open at 10: 30am. Actual hour at 11: 30am. He even let us in. Really appreciated his kind service. Fd was so yummy. Definitely will come back n eat n recommend friends to this Best Korean restaurant.

Have not been in for a while. Food quality has gotten better since last time delicious bibimbap fried cauliflower and fried chicken. Service was not good. 1 server for all restaurant on a busy Friday, mostly making up online orders. I had to go get my own drink from the fridge and go ask for bill. Otherwise 5 Star. Look forward come back again

Food was okay! Arrived hot and quick. Nothing super special or flavourful. Service was mediocre. Nice spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner.

There are friendly staff and generous portions of food in MDG. I love their stir fried squid rice and spicy chicken a lot
