Macao Imperial Tea Burnaby

Used to be my go to bubble tea place but it does not taste as good as it used to be. Only one staff was working. Waited an hour for a drink. Not worth it

The place was cute but.my drink had no flavor, really took about 30 minutes for 2 drinks on a weeknight. Poor girl was working alone and was struggling to make all the drinks. Now i know why the place has board games. Its to kill time while waiting for the drinks. My drink was not blended properly and had solid chunks.lol, I threw it away. Not worth $10 per drink.

Such a warm and cozy place for the cold weather! They have board games to past time with friends and great customer service. The workers are so welcoming and friendly! Also food is at a reasonable price with amazing flavours you don’t find anywhere, their variety of flavours remind of milk and sugar. My go to bubble tea place from now on:)

The service is pretty slow and I had to wait for 25 minute to get my order. The drinks are really nice, and I really love the concept of the fun and cute packaging of their products.

Ammu the worker has best service. The business is lucky to have her! Will definitely keep coming back.

I ordered matcha cheesecake via ubereats. I wonder why it taste watery than usual and you can barely see and taste the cheesecake. I wonder If they run out of cheesecake. It taste different than the one I ordered before

Drinks were okay, bit pricey for the amount they give you. Also, staff couldn't articulate what the drinks taste like. They also have fixed ice, but they don't tell you that and just make you think you're getting less ice - confirmed this as the person after me ordered the samething and got the same amount of ice when I asked for no ice.

We loved the atmosphere, drinks and the most polite employee. That girl in the counter that always say po or opo. Please give her a salary raise.

The prices on the counter and the tv screen are out of date and needs to be changed immediately. I was expecting a $6.99 drink, but was charged $7.49 without knowing. Also, one of the servers forgot to add the pearls to my drink.

The drink was ok, but service and professionalism needs to improve

I went at noon, which is an hour after their opening time, and tried to order the brown sugar pearl fresh milk. The lady told me there weren't any pearls for 20 minutes as she came in late. She said I could replace it with another item, so I chose grass jelly. I didn't realize it then, but after getting home, I realized she charged me for the grass jelly when the pearls would have been included and she told me I can replace pearls with something else.

Drink was just okay. It's pretty hard to mess up fresh milk and brown sugar. Grass jelly was the canned stuff. It's not worth almost $9

Tried the Halo Halo drink and it was good. Quite liked the jellies that were mild in flavour but quite nice in texture and pretty in colour. Good assortment of things in the halo halo like pearls, red bean, sago, flan/pudding etc. However, it took like 15-20 minutes to make one drink! Didn’t think it would take that long and for the taste, almost $10.00 a drink is a bit steep cuz after tip it was over $11 dollars.

Extremely slow service and I found some of the drinks overpriced. They definitely need to train their staff for efficiency. Taste is very good but if you are in a hurry don't go here.

I'm a fan of Macao but this branch seems a bit off. Order took forever. Food and drinks were subpar. Slushie still had big bits of ice.

Macao Imperial Tea Burnaby is a bubble tea shop worth a visit when you are in Burnaby. I visited here and was impressed with their amazing bubble and milk teas. In addition, the restaurant also has a spacious and comfortable space to sit back and relax. The space is beautifully decorated. In short, if you are looking for a milk tea shop with fresh pearls and a comfortable atmosphere, Macao Imperial Tea Burnaby is a great place to visit. I will definitely come back here in the future.

I love this place, the bubble tea and almost every drink is so good.
The staff are very friendly and nice as well, they make fresh customizable drinks and work pretty fast.

I always love there milk tea ever since in the Philippines. And still it amazes me how tasty it is. It taste like heaven for me. And surely will comeback.

I have tried so many bubble tea places and this place is one of the best by far. The atmosphere is great and it's not very busy. I am always a fan of brown sugar milk teas. I have tried their cheesecake variety and it was good as well.
