Recently moved in to a house which is managed by this company. Jane is the agent we deal with. Before we moved in we were told the owner will change the kitchen cabinets as they were old and greasy. Guess what.as soon as we signed the tenancy agreement they decided not to go ahead with renovations.
So please be careful in your dealings with them. Get everything in written as they are crafty non ethical people. Maybe owner changed her mind but we should have been informed as we left many rentals where kitchen n washrooms were not nice.

I have recently moved to a unit managed by this company and Gloria, our agent, did an outstanding job delivering the rental unit in excellent conditions. Furthermore, she addressed any minor details and requests in a light-speed manner.

As a tenant, I highly recommend this company for the incredible attention you get and how fast they respond to any petitions.

Highly recommend! Me and my wife just rent the place. Our property manager is Gloria Tsau. We've reviewed many apartments (around 7), and i can tell she is professional. She provided us with all information, gave email and printed copy. Did as much as she could to make our life easier (advised with tenancy insurance, did moving booking, helped to create account for utilities (building has special company which charges for heating, not BC Hydro), etc.) Always respond on calls and really fast on emails.
And of course she didnt try to trick us (as some of others managers).

They were really helpful in our move/signing our lease. Sara Erbez was particularly helpful and kind!

A woman by the name of Yvonne Wei works here. Recently my girlfriend’s family had to move out of a home they had lived in for the past two and a half years. Yvonne was hired to look over the home after the moved out. My girlfriend’s mom has severe cancer and struggles to walk or even breathe. During the inspection I had to tell Yvonne to be respectful after she was literally shouting at this sick woman. That was just the least of what I saw of her extremely unprofessional behavior. It appalls me that this place would hire a woman who lacks so much compassion and communication skills. In my opinion, several barn animals could do a better job than her. I understand the house wasn’t left in the best condition, but I believe there is a more professional way to go explaining this to the previous tenants, and that way doesn’t involve the aggressive shouting and exaggerated rude manner in which Yvonne conducts her business.

I would give this place a -5 star rating if I could. My overall experience with them has been nothing but horrible and unprofessional, especially with one of the property managers named Yvonne Wei. She is one of rudest and most selfish people I have ever encountered. Any time I would try and make a small suggestion or feedback on how my side of things could be handled, she would immediately shut it down and yell to talk over me. She will also overcharge everything. She will not respond to messages or emails and when she finally does after a week, they are again, the most rudest responses. For how much work she does, a 3 year old could do better. Nobody should have to experience what we went through with Yvonne and Macdonald realty.

Highly recommend my property manager Gloria Tsau! She is extremely professional, responsive and easy to work with. I actually rented a unit from her many years ago and had a great experience. In 2020, when I needed a property manager for my rental unit, she was the first one that came to mind, and she did not disappoint. She has really strong negotiation skills and very detail-oriented. I would definitely recommend her to anybody who needs a property manager to take care of their unit, or looking for a place to say. Keep up with the good work Gloria!

As a tenant, they are awful to deal with. They left us without any heat for multiple days with no concern. They fight you at every turn for things that are within your rights.

My rental experience with Macdonald Realty has been good. The property is brand new, the finishes are very good and the team is available to solve any issues.

I feel sorry for any property owners that hired manager Jane Yao. As a renter, inquiries are ignored. I've seen her lower the price on rentals rather then renting to us costing the owner thousands of dollars in income. As a future homeowner myself, I will never be using this company.

Whatever you do, do NOT deal with Macdonald Commercial. They're absolutely awful to deal. Its been hell from day one.

Worked with Diana I.in property management. She was fantastic to work with. Very professional and an outstanding problem solver!

I mopped and clen up and retouched some paint but they ask to move-in cleaning and charged.
