Madras Maple Cafe

My family loved most of the dishes here, but most notably the Shrimp Briyani. I personally really enjoyed the Kulfi and their Masala Chai. I have a cat's tongue so I can't really rake hot drinks. To my surprise, they agreed to my blasphemous request of providing me with a bowl of ice so I can chill my Chai. Very grateful for that. The waitress also taught us how to eat Golgappa and was very friendly towards us. But I think the best thing about the restaurant was the music. Almost every track displayed on the TV was amazing for someone who doesn't typically listen to a lot of Indian music.

Don't let location or decor discourage you. The food more than makes up for it! We had curry chicken dosa, butter chicken dosa, butter prawns, and Grandma's curry goat (so good!) So get down there and try it for yourself.you won't be disappointed!

The food was great and the Addentent Husan was so nice and polite having good customer service.

A long wait on food no matter if it’s dining or pick up order. Double time than expected. When we ask how long it will take.employees just say 5 min but takes about 30 min. Worst service

Date night with my husband, and this was the perfect place to come! Fantastic service, soft ambiance, upbeat Indian music TV entertainment, and the food is scrumptious & superb experiences! Wow! I'll be back and recommended to all my family and friends.

The place never served fresh food if its for pickup. My food was really cold even i picked up when they said. Never going back. Will not recommend to anyone

I and my friend went today here and their services were really awesome. We were attended by Miss Kashish and Miss Girija.they both were really nice to us and treated us really well. Tbh it was a great service provided to us by both of them. Also, food was very delicious.

Delicious Dosa spot in town. Must try. All variety of Dosa are good.butter chicken is a must try. Best south Indian Tamilnadu dishes.

We always order food from this restaurant and never have been any issues before but since last 2-3 months the food was not cooked properly we ordered vegetarian noodles and karahi panner and panner butter masala couple of times. When we called them about food and their tone was like we want complimentary food that is why we are complaining. Not recommended

Our Favourite Indian Restaurant in PG, we live in Quesnel literally come there every 2nd week to eat there.

I simply can't get enough. The samosa chaat and any dosa. Fresh complex flavors. The food is amazing. Prompt friendly service. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Enjoy!

This was by far the best little place I have been to all year. It is an delicious experience from the moment you open the doors. The music was infectious, the food absolutely delicious, ambiance fabulous and the waitress Kashish next level. She was thoughtful of spice levels, making sure the dish you were wanting wasn’t to hot for you. My friend has several allergies and Kashish made sure to suggest dishes that she could enjoy without any worry. Her suggestions of plates …. Perfect, mouth watering, and satiating. The flavours…. Oooh the flavours! Love love LOVE this place!

It is always a delight to dine at madras maple, the food is great. Like the south indian food here as i feel that is their specialty. The ambience could be worked upon by the management as it needs uplifting.
The food quality, pricing and quantity is great though.

While visiting from Surrey and craving some Biryani, we thankfully found this place. After reading several reviews (including some recommendations that said they preferred Madras Maple Cafe on other Indian restaurant reviews), we gave it a shot.

Just off the beaten path of 15th Ave but not difficult to get to, we were greeted with friendly smiles. We already wanted Chicken Biryani, but decided to add the Gobi Manchurian cauliflower to start. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with a good kick of heat that didn't drown out the flavors.

For desert, my wife wanted their Falooda which was tasty and sweet; it was a great way to compliment our meal.

Highly recommend, and we will be back the next time we are in town!

Got the goat chitty something. I asked for it spicy and I am a spice lord. Was the perfect amount to enjoy my meal. Flavors so potent, and no joke all the locals were packing this spot, Indian hip hop music on (was late on a Friday) and at one point there were seven door dash couriers waiting for food. The service levels were as to be expected while short staffed. If you’re staying in town ordering this in would be the move, easy pickup option. The food itself was the best part of Prince George IMO. Make a point to check it out, also staff gave AMAZING recommendations based on what we were looking for. Also open late. Venture outside your comfort zone, here you won’t be sorry!

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price.especially the person who took my order was really awesome. I believe her name is Kaashish, she was really nice. It’s really to have such wonderful people in your team.

Some of the most authentic South Indian food I've ever had! I've been twice so far and have loved everything I've had and have always gotten great service! The fish pakoras are phenomenal, and all the mains that I've had (chicken korma, and lamb saag) have been terrific! Everything is also at a very reasonable price for portion size. This restaurant is an amazing find and I definitely plan on going back!

Really disappointed. We ordered aloo tikki and 3 dosas last night for pickup. It was disgusting to find the stapler pin and elastic piece in the aloo tikki. Also the coconut chutney for dosas was so watery. Wouldn’t recommend:

Probably the best food and service I have gotten in this town. If you are looking for Indian place I would highly recommend to go here. I ordered kadahi paneer and their bread (forgot the name) and paneer pakora. They were delicious. Quick service at a counter and great customer service on a phone to explain the menu. This is the place you wanna go.

I ordered two fish curries and two chicken curries, each has a small rice portion to come along with, but I only received three small rice portions instead. Once again, the restaurant missed the items that I ordered. This had happened several times in the past, but I decided to let it slide due to my respect for the delicious food that this restaurant provides. However, I could no longer let this slide anymore. After today, I will never order from this restaurant anymore. It appears that the owner and the workers of this restaurant do not respect their customers. Even if it is just a small portion of rice, stealing is stealing, and this is unforgivable. I worked hard to earn money, and I paid because the food is worth the money, but if this is how you treat your customers, then so be it. I currently live at 1209 Alward Street, and I always ordered large orders from this restaurant through Skipthedishes ($60-$100). Goodbye, you have just lost a really big customer today.

Best dinner to end the year on! I asked my husband a few days ago Madras on New Years Eve and he was like I was thinking the same thing. Consistently delicious and cheap delivery fees. Food arrived still very hot today

Ordered food from Madras Maple last night. They were very accommodating, made my food extra mild. Perfect spice, tasted fresh, packed hot. Definitely recommend the restaurant 10/10.

Ate there recently while visiting a friend in PG. Excellent service, friendly staff and customers. Very tasty food and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place if you like Indian food.

Exceptional and great authentic south Indian taste. Will certainly visit again. The best part was the quickness in service.

Indian food is one of your go-to favorites when it comes to enjoying the flavor-packed cuisine. The food is cooked fresh to order, so it always takes a little bit longer, but you're rewarded for your patience with the most delicious Indian meal you've ever had in your life.

Good Indian restaurant in Prince George area. Their Chicken Chettinad masala and chicken biryani are delicious. Their Dosas and Parottas are always fresh and hot as well. Appetizers are also excellent. I stop in or order take out several times a month. Service is always fast and the staff is friendly.

The best South Indian food you can get in Prince George! Food was very yummy! Chef helped us to customize our order based of our taste preferences.
Will definitely come back and have food again from them.

Best Indian food in PG. We just had it a couple days after trying one of their biggest competitors. Hands down Madras. The veggie pakora are delicious. The Mutter Paneer and Chicken Vindaloo amazing. Good heat with the veggie samosas, but not over spiced with great texture and crispy outside. Coming from a big city I wasn’t sure we would find options like this here. Yum!

I find Madras Maple Csfe to be a refreshing change to what most East Indian restaurants have to offer; although it is very similar, Madras takes a stance of it's own with its options for fresh breads and the butter chicken; although, similar to butter chicken I've had many times in the past, Madras has a unique approach to this staple dish that is enjoyed by many people!

I was in town for short period very sweet people and food taste like home (pind). I was sick and order yellow daal.omg who ever made that daal save my life. I love it.

Wonderful food at a very reasonable price. Both the goat curry and butter chicken were fantastic.

The lunch special is well priced at ~$10. There are many other items on the menu and it appears that dosa is what they choose to feature. However, there are ample east-Indian offerings and several western option. It tastes as though much, if not all, of their offerings are made on-site as opposed to restaurant supply foods and sauces. The service was good, with water being served and brought out by the pitcher. The restaurant had steady customer traffic for pick-up and several other small groups. Absolutely worth a follow-up visit or two to round out the menu selections. Great tasting food at very reasonable prices in one of those wonder hole-in-the-wall venues.

Tucked away in an industrial area, this place is a real gem. Good food at good prices - our group of 5 was really happy with their lunch. I would return next time I was in PG for sure.

Yesterday I had chilli gobi that was really good and paneer butter masala was also very delicious. Friendly service and the guy working in a front desk was very cooperating and good nature.

This is the first time in Prince george.i was graving for Indian food. Finally I got the best place to eat. Being in the hospitality industry use to try different cuisine. Being one week I didn't had second thought of trying other restaurants. Being addicted to the food. After 22 years of travel I hot my mom recipe. Price point very reasonable. The best Indian food in Prince George. They cook with love and very authentic. They don’t just fill the wholes with western Campbell soup and call it “butter chicken”. The menu is very impressive with different kinds of South Indian dishes which are amazing.

Food was good. I went there couple of times. Both time I had 1 unpleasant experience. 1st time I found metal round piece in my curry and 2nd time cashier charged me 10 $ extra. It may be by mistake but my wife noticed it when I was driving back to home.

I didn't dine in, I just got take-out. But the food was VERY good. Had butter chicken with rice, along with a couple of beef samosas. I thought the price was fair and the portions were good. Definitely recommend this place

A great new addition to Prince George. Madras Maple Cafe offers something that no other restaurant has in town. Dosas.

A curry-filled, gigantic savoury Indian spiced "crepe". They're fun to eat, well priced and a unique traditional dish that's a must-try. I strongly suggest you try it dine-in as theyll be crispy and fresh. It does not translate as well for take out as they will be soggy.

Other dishes are also great. Chili gobi is a must-try. They also offer Canadianized food as well, however I cannot comment on that as I have not tried any of it. The decor is nothing special, but the food is great and the prices are quite low compared to similar quality food.

Check this place out, show them some love and hopefully add a new addition to your restaurant favourites.

Hi. I order the food yesterday a rava Masala dosa. It’s totally superb food. After a long time I enjoyed the food. Service is really good. As they know my train is late. He derived dosa at late for me. Am very thankful to you for your service & taste of food.
