Appetizers were ok ok, they came on sizzler plates but no grill or charcoal flavours whether paneer or malai chicken tikka. Service was awesome, they did address us and made us try 2-3 different appetizers but we were not satisfied with the taste. Cassata ice cream dessert was good the only highlight we loved that. Ambience and customer service management was excellent.

Superb taste, must visit this place. If you are looking for family place and nice food and environment this is the right place. Owner and staff are owsome.

Not worth of money they charge for the dishes. Surprised to see the quantity they served. We 3 people had dinner today, Ordered 3 dishes but it was too less in quantity and not enough for 3 people. Trying the new restaurant for Lunch, things were okay, nothing extraordinary. I think staffing needs to be better. I can only see one Manager and two servers. I can also see impatient guests who are waiting for some time to get attention.
If you are trying to earn some new business, specially if you have opened recently then you definitely need to staff this restaurant better!
Also, no one offered any Alcoholic drinks? I didn’t even see a drinks menu…

For the ascetic it provides, it's a shame how terrible their service was for a 4 person snack order. Additionally, their portion to price is a farcry of what it should be. Ordered a lamb briyani for $22.00 and had a measly 3 small pieces of lamb in it. We spoke to manager about issues with our server including missed items and all he had to say was he'll speak to the server and make sure it improves for next time.

Not a good look when your server doesn't come back to the table at all with things you ordered, especially when it is minimally busy.

Definitely not going back.

We asked for mint chutney once the food was brought to table. No one brought it. No one came to replenish drinks…. A server came to take dishes away and when we mentioned this to her, she apologized.

Maharaja is my favourite restaurant to dine in at. The new server calling system they added has made their service so much better and faster. Their food is so good and staff is always friendly.

Did a Diwali order from them for the first time, let me tell you.all the guests were so delighted by their food, quality, flavors. It was absolutely amazing. Went there to get gulab jamun. They appeared as if they were on diet. The place didn’t even have a toothpick.

Delicious food and loved how they packed the Naans and Tandoori rotis in tray rather than giving as a pile wrapped in foil.

I have been ordering from them since 2018 and every time their Sweets and other stuff was up to mark! I want to mention about their service which is top notch and way better as compare to other south Asian sweet shops in Vancouver area! Keep it up guys!

The most worst samosa I have ever had in my life the batter was blended the potatoes stuffed in samosa was not fresh at all and it’s tasteless and paneer pakora is also not upto the mark when I phoned them they keep saying you didn’t brought from us probably you brought from somewhere else on top of that they charged $1.50 each I spent my hard earned money for such a disgusting food.
I will never go to this place again 110% for sure and it’s my humble request to all please think twice to spend money at this place. Don’t spend your hard earned money for disgusting food.

Worst place I ever visited. They behave so rude and don't even know how to behave with customers.

The mango milkshake we received was warm even though there were many ice cubes in it - which made me wonder why was it warm… The table was sticky and had crumbs on the seat and table when we got seated. There was a piece of hair in my Manchurian, which made me feel gross eating my other dishes. We told our waitress and she gave us another Manchurian for free, but I am still hesitant to try it out in case there is another piece of hair in it.

Went for a day trip from Seattle and got a chance to visit the restaurant. Lovely ambience and ample parking spots. I rarely see Indian restaurants with such cleanliness and good ambience. Food quality was good. Seems like they are understaffed as during our lunch time visit on a Saturday, we found only one person who was taking order, serving food and keeping an eye on everything. However, she was good on her job. 5 star for her dedication.

Poor management, employees are confused and do not know what they are doing. Understaffed and food takes tremendously longer than the time told.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ZERO! If I could give 0 stars I would. Called to order food and this girl picked up the phone with no greeting or anything put me on hold. I was on hold for more that 10 mins thinking when she would come back. I had to call back again and when this time another girl picked up I told her what had happened she simply ignored the it and rudely asked what do I need. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

The good is not good.
We went after a very long time and will not be returning.
We ordered Chana Bhatura and the puri was so oily and cold like it was sitting for a bit. I said to the waitress this is very oily and she said that it is fried.
I said that I am aware of that but this is dripping of oil no one will eat it.
So after 10mins they brought us out a fresh 2 puris and you could see the difference.
I would of appreciated if they were to come and let us know that we are making freh ones.
The service is not good too.
I would of had a better experience across the street desi bites.

Food is absolutely delicious. No doubt about it, but only 3 chicken pieces in butter chicken full order and 4 mutton pieces in lamb curry full order. Quite expensive for the quantity given. It was quite embarrassing to serve it to guests.

I have tried Palak Paneer and Amritsari Kulcha both of them had same quality level, Nice Ambience. Perfect Taste. Must Try!

I went yesterday there with my friends and we tried chat-papdi and golgappe. Golgappas were so awesome. Even the service was so friendly and superb. Manpreet made sure that everything we needed was okay but Payment method was little disappointing.

Stopped by Maharaja for some Chats and I really relished it. We ordered Pani puri, papdi chaat and Amritsar kulcha. All the three dishes were beyond my expectation, really good. The papdi chhat was little sweeter, but adding the green chutney just made it perfect. The portions are good too. We tried the jalebis post that and I always love them. Definitely a must try when you are in and around Payal business Center.

I was working there. They don’t tell their employees before firing for no reason. Happened with so many employees who have served them. They call new employees during their busy schedule and ask them to work and after a week or two, they kick them out without even letting them know. They eventually refuse to pay you cheque for the time u serve them. I served them for 40 hours for two weeks.

That is how they do it and it’s just not the case with one person but with so many of them

A friend recommended this place and I have to say that these are the best damn samosas you can get in Surrey. Heck, the best I have ever had here in Canada. Lovely crust and generously sized.

Decent tasting food, would have preferred the masala tea to be more thicker in consistency.

Customer service is bad they should teach theirs girls how to deal with customers. Specially sandeep who don’t know basic etiquette of customer service. So frustrated by service.

Zero service after ordering food, no one came to table to ask, if I need anything or not. Not even a glass of water. Absolutely zero service.

After sitting they place menu front of me then I order they said they don't have this item, why not put small note on items not available

Bad customer service i have ever experienced. I went there today and they ask me to wait for 15 min after that I waited for an hour but they extended like i will just 2 mins just 2 more mins… At end they don’t even apologize for delay that was so rude… Never like to visit again

The quality of foods was great. I liked it although it was my first time experiencing samosas. I planned to order food again from this catering.

This place has amazing snacks to offer. Would like to rate the items we usually get from here. Samosas are supper yummy with crispy outer crust. Kachoris are a must try. Vegetable pakoras are good too. Chole bhature are yummy. In sweets boondi laddoos are super yum. All items are fresh. Highly recommend this place to all.

Samosas were soaking heavy amounts of oil. We felt gross after eating just one. (most likely fried multiple times).

Nice place. Their Khadvi is worth trying out. You will visit this place again. And the Badana? No words can describe the taste.

Best Indian food in the lower mainland. Authentic. See the line up for their freshly made jalebis in the afternoon. Their gajrela (carrot pudding or gajar ka halwa) is made fresh and served hot. Too good.

The best food. Best sweets in surrey. Would highly recommend for catering services. The restaurant service is not the greatest but it's worth it for the food. My favorite being their jalabi. Fresh and warm! So yummy

This is the best Indian restaurant at Payal business centre for dine in, take out and catering.
Best quality ingredients are used in all their preparations. We visit them from Burnaby and they beat everyone.
Limited options on their menu but they nail those. It is one of the most clean Indian restaurants in BC.

Professional, Understanding, Customer-Oriented, Food-Safety, Value Based Experience are some of the exceptional qualities represented by Maharaja Catering.

Under the current COVID circumstances, a wedding in our family was cancelled. We had no choice but to do it at home, which is 120 KMs, 1 hour and 40 minutes away from Surrey.

We made many phone calls to numerous Indian caterers, but were disappointed with the lack of commitment. Caterers would promise a followup, but did not do so, because of our location.

Fortunately, Maharaja Catering was the only Indian catering company to shine through and help us. I highly recommend their services.

Having worked in the food and marketing industry myself I was extremely satisfied with the food safety, quality, presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism offered by Maharaja.

I wish your company all the very best. Your service out shines any competitor in the Lower Mainland. Maharaja Catering's brand image and utmost level of service, cannot be emulated by any competitor.

I am surprised that no tasting is allowed even if you are actually ordering stuff. The quantity of chana in the samosa chana plate was less and mentioning that while collecting the order was met with a I do not care attitude.

Very pathetic inefficient staff.mixing oders don't even know whos oder is what doesn't even know how to confirm before handing out oders for pick up

Really good fresh food! Exceptional customer service! We have tried their food 3 times, and it keeps getting better! This is a great place for group outings. We are going to bring our staff there from Dead Level Pool Tables.

I been there after a long time I was surprised by their quality drop, It was very depressing for me. I ordered samosas, gulabjamun, banana, I have to garbage all stuff because their was a very bad smell of oil in all the things.very disappointed

We went there and witress clean the table and throw everything on the floor and we just walk out

I dont even want to give you one star. The service was so terrible, I went to the shop and placed a take out order (15 samosas) and the employee said it would take 10-15 minutes. I said I needed to get coffee for my office and would be back in 15 minutes. I came back 20 minutes later, and waited at the pickup spot for another 10 minutes before someone asked me what I was there for. Then proceeded the most frustrating situation, where I ended up having to wait at least another 25 minutes and still did not receive my food, meanwhile my coffee had turned to water. I do not understand the point of making an order if you are not going to have it ready in the designated time? ! I was very frustrated and left without getting samosas.

Thought to buy sweets on Diwali from them but bad decision, pathetic sweets quality.
Suggestion to owner: Improve your quality or you will be out of business very soon.

Whatever you do, dont order the aloo tikki. Literally tasted like a potato warmed up in the microwave. Not crispy on the outside no flavour.

Last two times I have been here the service has been bad. Buffet food for was watered downed and they made me fresh food.however, it had no salt and I had to get salted added in. The server was great this day and it was out of her control that the chefs couldn’t cook this day. Today I placed an order over the phone and when I got there I was told 2 minutes. After 20 minutes I had to remind them of my order and took another five minutes. The food wasn’t the greatest either. Seems like they have changed chefs.
